Jorge Stayed Jun, 2022 Review Regarding the unit itself: Very nice, cozy, clean recently remodeled, bed was really comfortable kitchen was well equipped, hot water worked perfectly. Check in process was a little complicated, we already were at the unit and we realized we had to go to SkyRun offices which is located like 2 miles away to get the keys (our fault for not reading the check in instructions completely) so I'm not complaining about that but I think it's important to note.The building is very old and not that nice but the unit is great. The host was transparent communicating that the unit on the third floor but it's also important to note that there is no elevator, which is not a dealbreaker for me but there are some people that need it. The location of the condo was perfect for traveling to the different ski resorts. There was some initial confusion with parking but eventually realized there was additional parking on the other side of the building. We really appreciated the response of Sky Run staff. We also loved the firewood delivery as needed. The fireplace was wonderful in the evenings after a day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked to make cooking and grilling simple meals.My only complaint was not having mattress pads on either of the beds!! Since we were there for a month, I did wash sheets several times and also had family visit. No mattress pads was a concern regarding hygiene. The owner is honest that it is one of the older properties but it was comfortable and perfect for us. I loved the touch of the window seats in each room. The bathrooms and beds were comfortable. The recliners in the living area were great. The porch was very nice to have too. The hot tub and pool were great, I just wish the pool was indoors too for winter time. But it was great for summer. We hiked Grays Peak and Torreys peak while we were there. It was just a 30-40 minute drive to trailhead. All amenities we needed were there. The location was nice for our planned activities and the bed set up was also great for our group (1 couple, 4 individuals). There were some towels that had stains and kitchenware that wasn't clean which was the only downfall. Cozy space with great kitchen. Loved the fireplace. Fantastic location near tons of trails, bike paths, restaurants, breweries and anything you could need within a 10 mile drive. The area was so beautiful near the reservoir. The sunsets were epic everyday and it was quiet and a very nice place to stay during this time. October is just before ski season, so it wasn't too busy and the weather was wonderful with a little snow here and there. The fall colors were also such a pretty sight to see. The front office was very responsive and polite when I had questions and/or packages. We had a little issue with the bathroom sink not draining and they came out immediately and fixed it. This was our first time to ski in CO, and so we didn't even realize how much we would appreciate the location until we were there. Having the short shuttle ride so close was very nice to avoid the crazy traffic getting to the mountain. The condo itself was very well equipped with nice extras like towel warmers in the bathroom, Netflix, board games, etc. Although the kitchen is small, it is adequately equipped and easy to work in. The management company was good to work with and the place was kept in good condition and was clean (though the actual building it was located in was a little older and run down). It was in a good location and the pool and hot tub were great. The only negatives would be for those who have sensitivities or allergies - the air fresheners they had were very strong (we put them outside and left the windows open to help air out) and there was a chain smoker in the condo below which made it very unpleasant (not sure if they live there or were just staying for vacation). Other than that, we'd definitely recommend this as a great place to stay!
