M&V Stayed Mar, 2024 4 Bedroom-Worked for 3 families When I booked this, our group was 14 in number (the listing said it would fit 17...That would have been tight). It is approx a 4-5 min walk to the shuttle route (more info about this would have been nice in the condo) or a 10ish minute walk to the bottom of Mountain House. Ski Rental places are within walking distance from the condo. There aren't enough chairs (esp in the Living Room) to hang out as a large group and the Dining table is cramped to fit 14 around it (even using the benches)-of course, all of our group were adults. The bedroom situation worked since two of the three families going were families of four - they each took a bedroom that had a queen bed plus a bunkbed. The condo actually had enough pots & pans, plates, cups, etc to work for our group. It needed a 9x13 pan and some more serving spoons; other than that it was adequately stocked. Photo of the hot tub was taken at the very lip of it making it seem bigger than it is, same with the views of Keystone. Needs updated photos from the deck, trees block the view (not a big deal). Room for two comfortably in the hot tub, maybe three. Patio doors to hot tub also had trouble staying shut all the way. It wasn't serviced before we got there and had dirty water, but maintenance arrived shortly after with no announcement to fix it so again not a huge deal.Ad says it sleeps 17 but it explicitly states in the check in book it only sleeps 14. We only had 9 so that didn't affect us.No big trash can except for the one in the garage so trash piled up quick with a big group.Garage is NOT very tall, our Suburban XL barely fit without scraping the roof.All in all VERY small complaints. We did Keystone (literally a walk across the street), Breckenridge, and Vail (both pretty short, beautiful drives away). We had 11-14 people in the condo all week and I never felt crowded. About half of us were also working from home on video calls, etc. and the wifi was fast and reliable. After working by the fire all morning, the best part was that you could hot tub or walk across the street and hit the slopes on your lunch break (very convenient location - there's a rental shop a 5m walk away and all you have to do is cross the street to jump on the Keystone lift).Highly recommend this spot for a group trip! It was well stocked with everything you need, particularly in the kitchen. There are some improvements that need to be made though to make this a better property. The biggest is the bedding. New bedding needs to be brought in including mattresses. Also the carpets on the first floor needs replacing. Other than that, it is a great place for a large family. Its was so convenient! My ONLY complaint is the check-in process. They email you a code that unlocks a lock box at the office which contains your welcome packet with the lock code to the house. They can just skip the middle proceeds text you the front door code instead. While the main office is rather close, the check in process is unnecessary. The living area/kitchen is a lot small than it appears in pictures. The kitchen can really only accommodate 1 person and only seating for 5 on the couches. Although we didnt use it the hot tub could probably only fit 3 people. The kitchen could use an upgrade. Only 1 big skillet. The ice maker didnt work. Eric from the management company was great. Okay, here we go, there was no garage opener and that was a big pain in the arse. There was no can opener which seems so odd to me b/c who doesn't have a can opener? The beds were not very comfortable and on the master, the sheets and mattress pad were constantly coming off the bed so in the middle of the night you were up and fighting to get the pad and sheets back on the bed. Super annoying. I hated that lots of the window seals were broken so seeing out of them to take in the beautiful view was not nearly as awesome as I'd like. And finally, there were several screens on the windows that were ripped really bad so you couldn't open the windows for fresh air which at this time of year is desperately needed. As far as location and space it was perfect. The owners just need to spend some time and money on fixing it up a bit. Would I rent it again? I'm not sure I would in its current condition. ebone h. Loved that every bedroom had a bathroom and plenty of towels. And a huge plus with multiple parking spaces for a large group. The only thing we didnt love is the listing noted there would not be AC which is really fine when were in the mountains since it does get cool through the day and having the windows open is always nice. However the disappointing part of the house is most of the windows did not open. The windows that did open did not have screens and some windows did not have handle cranks to easily open or close. The house easily accommodated our group of 15+ people: the open floor plan allowed us all to relax and eat together with plenty of seating, we cooked several big meals in the kitchen without issue, and no one was fighting for the bathroom or a place to sleep. While it can get extremely cold outside, you're sure to stay warm in this cabin. I felt very comfortable walking around barefoot due to the heated floors. The numerous bathrooms were well laid out and the 3 level design gave enough privacy for our families. We enjoyed the hot tub and there were plenty of extra towels which were right beside the spa and we did run a big load of towels before we left. The location is great. We walked into the next parking lot to find a delicious mexican restaurant where we could have a relaxed atmosphere and watch the Bronco game. We also saw that many other good restaurants are close by. Snake River Saloon is just a little bit down the street and we tasted many samples from many restaurants from Keystone at the festival. This was a weekend with a music festival in Keystone and we did get down to Keystone River Run to enjoy the festivities. Since we our stay included a Saturday night we could see the fireworks from out parking lot. Perfect! On Fridays the gondola was free! Yay! We rode up the mountain with our whole gang and had fun at some of the activities up there including a great view and horse shoes. The little ones tried out the tight rope walking at 2 feet off the ground. We saw a weeding party arrive for their celebration at the top of the mountain. What a venue!One tip: Bring earplugs. Some of our party had difficulty sleeping as the condo is so close to HWY 6 and many big rigs went by in the night. I closed our windows on the second nights and it was fine. Perfect location. A group of 15+ people stayed here very comfortably and loved every second. There were plenty of rooms, beautiful bathrooms furnished with towels and toiletries, a fireplace, an outdoor jacuzzi for 3 or 4, and even a porch. In the early cold mornings, we realized that the floors were heated! That surely changed the game in the dead of winter. The house is located across the street from Keystone Mountain, a collection of local bars/restaurants and a ski/snowboard rentals shop, however we mainly skied at Breckenridge Resort - about 30 minutes away- during the day and Keystone at night. The location is a walk away from keystone and you can see people on the slopes from the deck. Amazing views. The hot tub is a wonderful addition and was thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. Nothing like an out door hot tub after a long cool day on the slopes! Food, drink, rentals, are all within walking distance. Our group of 18 was easily slept in comfort which in itself was an amazing feat. An under appreciated luxury was definitely the heated tile flooring. It's especially nice to wake up in the morning without socks and feel that warmth. The place was clean and the amenities were immaculathe. The jacuzzi in the master was a nice addition to utilize as well. 10/10. Will stay here again and will recommend to friends. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. The large dining room made it possible to all eat together. We loved having the personal jacuzzi on the deck. 5 full baths - plenty of hot water even with multiple showers going at the same time! The huge living room provided plenty of space for us to all gather and play games (i.e. piccolo and charades). There was also a huge garage to fit everyone's ski equipment and 2 full sized cars. Most of us were there to ski and snowboard, so the location worked out great—5 minutes from Keystone, 20 minutes from Breckenridge and across the street from Snowdance Ski and Snowboard Rental. The others in our group enjoyed shopping, snowshoeing and relaxing around the place, which was easy to do with a hot tub, fireplace and comfy beds. I personally have a difficult time adjusting to the dry mountain air, but lo and behold, the downstairs closet has a handful of room humidifiers. I only wish I’d noticed them before my first night’s sleep. The only hiccup of our whole stay was we had an issue with the garage door opening when we first rolled in. We called the property manager and it was fixed within the few hours we were on the slopes. Impressive response time! I'm assuming there have been some updates since some of these previous reviews, as the kitchen was well stocked for the 14 of us, and we love to cook and eat! After a couple seasons of paying far more $$ for far less luxury, we’re hoping to make 18 Autumn Brook our new yearly snow get away. Emily M. It's about a 15 minute drive from the busy Breckenridge yet close enough if you want to visit. If you are a fan of dive bars, walk across the street to the Goat. Great happy hour prices! The cabin was ready a little early and was well cleaned (sheets, towels, floors, bathrooms) - Kudos to the staff. They even offered a free CD library from which renters can select titles.The cabin itself is large and fairly spacious although it is a tri-level condo, so there is a lot of running up/down the stairs. The furniture, beds and other fixed items in the unit are fully functional and our group of 8 felt very comfortable. The hot-tub only seats two, but having a tub is a real plus after a full day of skiing. The unit also has a reasonable view of the ski-slopes from across Highway 6.You can either drive or walk (12 minutes) to the slopes. Driving is nice, but Keystone still has a lengthy walk between the parking lot and the slopes (paid parking eliminates the walk).Our only suggestion are the kitchen appliances, plates and silverware. We never ran short, but just barely had enough for our group of 8 running the dishwasher twice each day. Other upgraded units in the area tend to have nicer accessories, knives, pots, plates and other kitchen equipment. Again not a serious setback, but would recommend the owner add to the collection (we ended up buying additional kitchen towels and a hot pad).We would definitely stay again!
