Maria P. Stayed Jan, 2022 2062 The Pines This place was cozy and comfortable! Very convenient to the Keystone resort and mountain but you still need to drive or take a shuttle to get there. Decor is pretty outdated, TVs are small, but great Wifi and had everything we needed, a TON of board/card games, a lot of DVDs and beautiful views as well. The community pool is very big and warm, the hot tubs are always full in the evening but since there are two, and they are big, there always seemed to be room. I couldn't find any cleared walking paths to the community, was hoping to take nature walks. There are sleds in the unit if you'd like to do that which was a fun option for the kids. The room with the twin beds needs shades as all it has is white curtains and the sun would shine right in very early in the morning. Overall this was a good fit for our family of five. They are missing an ice maker which would have been nice. We looked for guest parking and called the office a few times about it. One of them told us if we find one that we can park there then we called to ask where they were and the girl on the phone said our property didnt have any. We finally did find the spots on Saturday morning right by our condo. Other than that, the on call shuttle service was very convenient. Still wish the hot tub had been open but thats understandable. The only issue we had was noise from what we assumed was the heaters at night and others outside the unit. It was easy to hear anyone coming in or talking outside our unit. Also, one of the hot tubs wasn't hot and the jets in other one weren't working. But the sauna was very nice 🙂 Other than that, it was a lovely place to stay. I'd recommend it to friends and family! They are uncomfortable and old, and really need to be replaced. Also I would consider looking at the refrigerator, it runs very loud, and for long periods of time, making me think it is not running efficiently. Host's response: Thank you for your feedback! It really took you back a handful of decades via the decor, kitchen appliances, etc. We loved it! Made us feel like we could really wind down and enjoy the space and beauty of being in the mountains. The couch is a little rough to sleep on but the beds are wonderful. The kitchen has old appliances that are still in great working condition, so that was cool rather than a nuisance by any means. Plenty of space, and the real working fireplace, so of course we loved that as well. We'd definitely consider staying here again! The 2-bedroom condo was very well-equipped, and we even grilled steaks. Close to Keystone Mountain Bike Park, and the towns of Silverthorne and Dillon close by with stores and restaurants. The condo was very clean, and family-friendly with games and Dvds. We stayed for 1 week, and would've loved to stay longer. Enjoyed the summer activities of white water rafting, ziplining, biking the Vail Pass, and mountain biking, and hiking. Next time, fly fishing!
