Enjoy this quiet 3 bedroom penthouse in River Run with 20' cathedral ceilings throughout, upgraded flooring,  granite countertops, and it is situated on the slope view side of the building. The dining room can seat up to 8 people, great for having a meal with the whole family. A fully equipped kitchen will allow you to cook like you're right at home. In the living room there are comfy furnishings surrounding the gas fireplace and flat screen TV for a nice night in with the family. The spacious private patio wraps around the entire unit and boasts stunning views of the ski slopes. There is a private washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.
The primary bedroom features a king sized bed, flat screen TV, and private patio entrance. The en suite primary bathroom features a dual sink vanity and a spacious standing shower. The second primary bedroom features a king sized bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom with a dual sink vanity and large standing shower. The guest bedroom features two twin bunk beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate additional guests.
Red Hawk Lodge has some of the best amenities in Keystone. After a long day on the slopes, relax in the year-round heated outdoor pool or hot tub. There is also a pool table, fitness room, ski lockers, sauna, game room, and a courtyard with an outdoor dining area and communal grill. Step out your patio door, and walk the short 3 minutes to the gondola! River Run Village is also only a 3 minute walk away, where you can enjoy all the dining, shopping and night life.
There is heated underground parking for one car.

Great unit, great location wont be back.

This was a great rental, everything was exactly as pictured. Nice comfortable, everything you needed. Great view of the mountain and easy walk to Gondola/River Run Village. Parking was easy, a little tight for a Suburban, but covered and convenient. Check In was a breeze and it was even ready a little early! All that was great! Now the not so great, 1 elevator for the entire building, that includes all the staff, cleaning folks etc. plan on waiting 15-20 mins for the elevator EVERYTIME you have to ride it - yep, going down, 20 mins, going back up 20 mins. Stairs were at either end of the long hallways, but no access to the parking garage via stairwell, so if you take the stairs, you either have to wait for the elevator - yep 20 mins - OR walk outside, down the hill to the garage and enter from the outside. So if you are carrying anything, groceries, ski boots, a small child its a major pain in the rear - so much so I wouldnt stay here again even though the unit itself was great! If you have patience or maybe are there on a slower weekend (we were there presidents Day) maybe its no issue at all. In the same vein, we were there 4 days and never were able to use the hot tub or the pool table, always full. I cant believe having only one elevator meets code. Unit was nice though, maybe we were just unlucky.

We chose this unit as a place for our son-in-law, daughter and two grandsons to enjoy their first stay in the mountains over Christmas break with us. The location is a very short walk to the gondola and the village which was perfect! We really enjoyed the view from the unit of the skiers/boarders coming down the slope. It was actually warm enough one day that we sat on the wrap around deck, hot cocoa in hand and watched all the activity. The space was perfect with two separate primary bedrooms, recently remodeled walk in showers and a spacious kitchen that was open to a huge dining room table and living area. We also enjoyed the hot tub and steam room at the end of a day spent skiing/boarding on the mountain or tubing/snowshoeing at the Nordic center, which was a short drive away. We will definitely come back - lots of special family memories!

Review

The Hunki Dori car park is now a construction zone and access was obviously restricted, forcing our party to walk back to the main road and enter the village from the north and make our way through the village to the gondola- a 7 minute walk. I know that does not seem like much but with kids, ski gear, and compared to the previous 1 minute walk its an inconvenience.On our last day a cycle path that passes adjacent to the property and leads directly to the gondola opened up, this made the walk considerably shorter (
