We certainly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. The only problem was getting checked in. We picked up our card keys and written directions as instructed by email. The directions were very confusing as they didn't follow any entry/parking signs. Our keys didn't open the gates to our parking lot! We had to have a bus let us in. We called the number on our directions and got a message " After hours please leave a message and we will return your call in the morning". Once we found our building, our keys would NOT get us in the building. Someone else finally let us in the building! Then thankfully our keys did get us in our room. Our group of close friends and family is quite large so finding accommodations for 12-25 people can be challenging, especially if you want to stay together. Ski-in/ski-out had never been an option until we found this unit which at Chateaux DMont, which is adjacent to #2715, hosted by Seymour lodging. Together, these GROUND FLOOR, SLOPE facing units, with PRIVATE/INDOOR hot tubs have changed our lives. The SKI/SKI OUT can’t be matched. Not even in River Run. You are on a quiet side of the mountain, but still have restaurant/rental AMMENITIES at the Mountain house, plus SHORT LIFT LINES and TICKETING. Oh, and lugging newbies back and forth to SKI SCHOOL or the BUNNY SLOPE! Never again they are located right outside your door. For a decade now, SkyRun has provided us with an amazing experience. Their level of hospitality is definitely “A-Team”, from their super easy booking and check-in to routine firewood and hot tub service. Oh, and how could you forget the incredible affiliate discounts you have access to as a SkyRun guest? Not only can you manage your reservation online, you can also view and book ski rentals, transportation, activities, and even grocery delivery right from the SkyRun portal, and the discounts are about the best you can find, if not the equivalent. We have been hesitant to write this review for years, as it has come to be one of those hidden gems you want to keep to yourself as there may never be a vacancy if people knew how great it was, but between all that I have mentioned, as well as the recent, total unit remodel, this public rave review is warranted. Also, I did not receive an email confirmation and had to ask two people how to find the right lock box, Partly my fault as I did not know I did not receive the correct email with instructions until it was time for the instructions. i received a different email for confirmation. Beyond the initial difficulty of getting inside the place, it was amazing and we loved the access to the Peru run --steps away, which I don't think was advertised this way. Some furniture wearing our their use, some floor boards loose, and you could hear people in the unit above walking/running around (I think young kids were staying there.) Also, if we had brought our kids and utilized the second bedroom and bathroom, it would have been an issue. The second bathroom toilets chain had come off and you weren't able to flush the toilet via the handle. Could easily be flushed by taking off the toilets top and manually doing it, but a minor annoyance. All in all a great place, great location via short walk to Village Run. There were a few things that did not live up to my expectations however. About an hour prior to my 4 pm arrival I received a call from a SkyRun employee informing me that their hot tub maintenance man found a leak in the hot tub, and they had a repairman on site. So I delayed my arrival untilpm, but when I got there the repair man was still sitting in the hot tub room. The repair man told me that not only was there a leak but the motor wasnt working, I was staying for 5 days but he told me they wouldnt be able to get the part in time to fix it before I left. Kind of a big bummer since I was anticipating using it to soak after hiking Mt.Sneffels, but what can you do about that. The water was also cold and dirty. Then when I went to shower the first night I found long head hairs all over the wall in the shower, not the end of the world but still pretty gross.Overall I did enjoy my stay, but it didnt quite live up to my expectations. Id recommend this stay to anyone looking for a convenient ski lodge or a place not too far from Denver, but dont anticipate staying in a luxury condo. Christopher M. April Stayed Jul, 2020 Review This is a stylish, comfortable condo in convenient location for mountain sports. We appreciated the complimentary sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, bath towels, and plentiful soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. The place was clean and we enjoyed our stay, but ran into some maintenance problems. Both the dishwasher and washing machine were in disrepair (dishwasher would make noises like it was working, but after several tries on different settings, we determined that it was only heat-drying the dishes. The detergent never dissolved and the food never came off. As for the washing machine, it would stall mid-cycle. Furthermore, we were only provided 1 single-use box of detergent for the washing machine, and the pods for the dishwasher were dried out and stuck together). Disappointingly, the hot tub was was way too hot to use when we arrived and took several hours with the cover off to cool down. This would have been a bigger disappointment if we'd only had one night to use it. As it was, the hot-tub was useable by the 2nd night of our stay. We reported these issues to the host, and hopefully everything will be fixed for the next guests.Those problems aside, the furniture in the unit was comfortable if a bit worn, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (except there was only one kitchen towel! The floor was dirty, the hot tub area and the hot tub itself were dirty, the furniture in the living area had holes in it and was very rundown. Honestly, it felt dirty to even sit on so we washed sheets and covered the furniture with the sheets. New furniture needs to be purchased.The check-in process was super quick and easy and the sky run activities card got us a great discount on our equipment rentals. Stayed Jul, 2017 This condo is gorgeous. Ignore older reviews. The owners of this condo did a great job with their renovations. Plenty of room to spread out and the master bed was SO comfortable. Most amenities were taken care of. My only complaint was with the hot tub. The cover left an unpleasant musty smell and I could see dust/fuzz collecting in the bubbles. I want to believe this gets cleaned before every visit, but ???I would not hesitate to stay in this condo again. Great location, and very quiet. thomas c. Stayed Jan, 2017 Condo is in a great location These condos are possibly the best location to Keystone. This particular unit was very worn. Everything was adequate and met our needs. If you are going to fuss over little details this may not be the unit for you. Lindsay our contact with SkyRun was fabulous. There was a problem with our hot tub and Lindsay was very professional and took care of everything for us. The personnel who arrive were courteous and prompt and knew what they were doing. We always enjoy our stay but will look for another unit next year. Note to Lindsay: air mattress you supplied leaks. The faucets in both the kitchen and bathrooms need attention. Jennifer Z.
