This huge studio right next to the mountain house base area is the perfect spot for your next Colorado mountain getaway! This unit is on the top floor with a great balcony that boasts gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and slopes. Upon entering the unit you will be greeted by great natural light and retro mountain vibes. There is a small kitchen area in this studio containing a mini fridge, microwave, stove top, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. The kitchen table seats 4 people comfortably. There is a queen Murphy bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room that are both easily tucked away so you can make the most out of the space! Slopeside is a great building for a ski vacation due to its close proximity to the Peru Lift at Mountain House base area. Walk out of your condo and you're practically at the lift! There are also a few restaurants and shops in the Mountain House base area. Mountain House has everything River Run can offer (except the gondola) without all the hustle bustle of those huge crowds. After a long day on the slopes, enjoy a soak in the Slopeside hot tubs, cozy up by the fire pit, or take advantage of the communal grill for a summer cookout. SUBMIT Andrew & Lisa Stayed Feb, 2024 Review As far as the condo being "huge," I wouldn't say that, but it is spacious for a studio. It had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the view and balcony. We've stayed at Slopeside before and like the location. It was clean and close to the elevator, so that way convenient. It's behind a door, so we couldn't hear it. The indoor parking was really convenient and the lockers provided to store my ski gear was really useful. The amenities were nothing special - but they were more than adequate to meet my needs. Had a great time here!!Cons:Horrible pillows. Pillows were super flat. And there werent enough pillows either. No entry instructions. No one had told us that if we showed up afterpm. We would be out of luck getting in. You have to go to an office first that closes at. Luckily, Sky Run is super responsive. And the guy met us after hours to give us the keys. But we went to the condo first and walked around for like 20 minutes. Asking a few locals how to get to our unit. They asked, building A or B? We had no idea. Wasnt in the instructions. I called Skyrun to ask what we do to get in. They said, oh, you have to pick up the keys from us first. Which the office was only 10 minutes away.
