Review

Overall it was ok. Very pricey. Seems like it hasnt been updated in 10+ years. Master bed was like a rock. Good location, but would find another unit in building next time.

Very nice room ans location

The Timbers is very nice. We have stayed at Long Eagle (next door) several times in the past but never stayed at the Timbers. The room is located on the central floor but I found it to be perfect I.e right by the fitness area and ski lockers. I recommend this room for a couples.

Great condo - exceeded expectations!

This property was perfect for a quick ski trip with my son. Very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to Keystone. The location of this unit being only one level up from the garage and same floor as gym, pool and common area was perfect too. Highly recommend!

Great location

The location cant be beat for skiing Keystone. Youre just a short walk from the gondola. The condo is nice. This one does not have a view. Its also on the main floor right next to the gym/pool/lounge. So it could get a little loud.

Fabulous location.. Right by trails, town, and gondula. Beautiful surrounding. Unit has plenty of room. Clean, all amenities you would need. Loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Loved having the underground garage. Loved the place! Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Property!

Great property and first floor location was very convenient. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable! Love the Honor Bar system....pretty sure we contributed more than we consumed. One of the most well equipped condos Ive stayed in. Cheers!

We enjoyed our stay at 3056 The Timbers. The condo was a good size, beds were comfy, two nice full bathrooms with great showers and we loved the ski-in/ski-out aspect of The Timbers! Would stay again!

Review

If you are looking for a secluded & quiet ski in/out condo the location is fantastic. Although not the closet building to the slope it is a very short and easy walk out and an easy ski in. The location of the condo in the building is on the first floor and close to the door so no lugging your stuff down halls and up floors. The parking garage was great and so close to the room we just stored our skis in our truck overnight. We also loved that River Run Village was just a short walk away. The condo itself was super clean, roomy and was well equipped to make meals. We absolutely loved the oversized jetted tub to soak in after a long day of skiing. Our only complaints were that the dryer didnt work and the bed was a little firm for our liking so we didnt rest as well as we would have liked. We definitely would have give the place a 5 if it had a comfy bed with a lighter comforter.

Timbers 3056

Loved the location and the condo. Only issue was the shower water wasn’t hot enough especially when it got cold. Maintenance came out but by the time we left 3 days later it hadn’t really changed. Would definitely stay again hopefully next summer

Quiet and Comfortable

We booked a list minute trip to Keystone to celebrate our 25th anniversary, luckily this gem of a condo was available! The location is nice and secluded, but yet within walking distance to the River Run village with shops, restaurants, and bars. The Condo is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of kitchen equipment if you want to cook anything. Having two bathrooms was nice, the bed is very comfortable. Keep in mind in the summer months, there is no air conditioning, but with a few windows open we were comfortable. There is underground parking that comes with the rental as well. Would definitely stay here again! The folks at Sky Run were always available and very helpful if needed.

AMAZING mountain home (condo)

Absolutely amazing and beautiful mountain home/condo. We could not have asked for better accommodations while staying in Keystone. Ski in/out and right next to the gondola and lifts. A short two-minute walk over the bridge to the super-fun (and VERY kid-friendly) village. The Born family could not have been more accommodating - such a pleasant experience. You will not be disappointed staying at 3056 The Timbers - PERFECT! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Keystone. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Ski in/Ski out property

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay in Keystone @ this beautifully furnished and equipped condo. Location was great, pop on ski's and head right to lifts, easy walk to village. Condo had lovely furnishings, comfortable king bed and Murphy bed, 2 full bathrooms a bonus! Location on 1st floor was great, very easy in and out. Condo owners and SkyRun personnel were all great, check in and out super easy, provided tons of info prior to stay which was helpful. Would definitely stay here again!!

Review

We had an amazing time in Keystone! We had everything we could have possibly needed in the condo upon arrival. We were quite comfortable in our stay. The fold out couch bed was rather uncomfortable and the mattress needs replacing, but overall we were very pleased with the condo. The location of the room was PERFECT in relation to the building's many amenities. We walked right out of our front door and were only steps away from everything; the elevator, the heated pool and hot tub, the gym, sauna, steam room and locker room. There was a complimentary hot chocolate/coffee/hot tea bar that was always well stocked. However, It would have been better if the drink bar would have been available at later times. It was all cleared away before 5 pm and often we were still outside and came in cold and it would have been really nice to have hot drinks readily available at that time. The ski in-out was very nice and we used it often. When we were ready to depart there were not any luggage carts available. We waited over a period of 4 hours and there were still none available. It would have been nice to have more than 2 or 3 for the whole building. We ended up carrying all of our belongings to our vehicle out the front door. Overall, we had a nice stay and would happily return to the same condo in the future.

A perfect ski in ski out condo. Nice mountain decor. Photos are totally accurate. Owned by a family who clearly loves the area. The Timbers is a beautiful condo. The owners provide lots of tips and information. They are so organized. Want them to come organize my life! There is an outdoor jacuzzi and pool. BBQ and fire pit. Sauna/steam room. Unit sleeps six comfortably. Kitchen fully stocked. We easily cooked a great dinner. Large ski locker. Ski right to lift. Fantastic. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Beautiful Condo on Keystone Mountain!!!!

We stayed in unit 3056 which is conveniently located on the ground floor. The condo is located on Keystone Mountain, and is ski in ski out. There is a slight incline exiting the condo building towards the route to the lift. I carried my skies but my husband was stronger & could pole up the incline. Lone Eagle Condos next door, are slightly closer to the downhill to the lift.

Unit 3056 is gorgeously decorated, warm, well stocked with kitchen items, huge inventory of DVD's, 2 full baths, very roomy, lots of closet space, washer/dryer, extra blankets, pillows, sleds for the kids - I could go on & on. The condo was truly home away from home. The owners obviously love their condo, & it shows!

The outdoor hot tub was a perfect end to a day of skiing. We enjoyed the fire pit for making s'mores. The sauna, steam room & indoor/outdoor pool were terrific. There was a gym which we didn't need as we were there for the skiing but would be great to use another time of year. The lockers on the first floor were also very convenient.

The lobby had hot coffee, tea & hot chocolate everyday which we enjoyed. Underground parking. A heated ROAD to the condo. There was plenty of room to have another couple or kids stay comfortably.

I can't say enough good things about this condo, and definitely want to stay here again!!!

There's No Place Like Home

I can't say enough about this wonderful condo. The moment you walk in the door, you feel a sense of "coming home." The owners have done an incredible job with the décor and the special touches just made us feel pampered the entire time we were there.

Keystone is an incredible family destination, and The Timbers is an spectacular property. We loved staying slope side. It was quite and cozy and literally just a 5 minute walk to all the Village at River Run has to offer.

We wish we were still there and cannot wait to go back next year. Simply incredible!

Fantastic Winter Retreat

The Born family was kind enough to let us enjoy their beautiful ski-in/ski-out retreat. Everything about this condo is perfect. The Timbers is perfectly situated near the gondola and easy to make quick lunch stops. This condo is perfectly located next to the Keurig that is stocked daily and steps to the hot tub on the same floor. The separate bedroom was perfect for the adults with a very spacious master bath and comfortable mattress. The fold out couch and murphy bed in the living room was just what the kids wanted. Kitchen was stocked with the things we forgot to get from our grocery delivery service like syrup and jelly. We'll be back!

Lovely ski getaway

I have only positive words to say about this ski on/ski off unit. The owner was amazingly helpful from start to finish. The check-in process was flawless even though we arrived at a.m. The unit itself was just the right size for our small family. We felt right at home. I was worried about noise since we were on the first floor, but it was never an issue. The owners have some personal touches that make it extra nice...s'more fixins and an honor bar. If you go to Keystone, this is a perfect place to stay.

Amazing Condo!

We stayed 3 nights in Condo 3056 at the Timbers.
Just 2 of us, my wife and me. Great underground parking. The first thing we noticed was we were on the convenient 1st floor where the lobby was (which was beautiful) and ski locker access, pool and hot tub outside and small exercise room, sauna and steam room.#056 is right off the front door and very convenient. When walking into the 1 bedroom condo we noticed how spacious it was. We have stayed in condos at Breck and Copper and this was the nicest.
Great owners with great communication.
We hope to be back next year in 3056!

The Timbers is an excellent place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Timbers. The place is in a great location, and is richly appointed. The amenities are first class. The condo was also very nice. We would have liked for the room to be darker at night when we were sleeping. The king size bed was nice but the pillows and mattress were, just ok. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous slopeside luxury condo!

Everything about this condominium is first class. It is beautifully decorated and the owners have added many personal touches that made our stay comfortable and convenient. For example, the electronics, remote controls, lights, and other items are meticulously labeled to make them easy to understand and use. A large DVD library of movies was provided, arranged in alphabetical order, with recommendations by the owners for different genres. The refrigerator and food pantry are stocked with graham crackers, marshmallows and hershey bars to make s'mores, and they also stocked microbrew beer and wine -- simply asking that visitors replace what they use for the next people to enjoy. The condo is very well furnished, and on the ground floor conveniently located near the indoor/outdoor pool, fireplace and sitting area. The unit is well insulated so we were not bothered by noise from others during our stay. The covered, underground parking is safe and convenient, and our check-in after hours was easy. This is a fabulous, one-bedroom, ski-in/ski-out luxury condominium that is great for couples on a romantic weekend or small families on a ski retreat. My thanks to the owners for their hospitality and for making our stay absolutely perfect!

Above and Beyond!

The owners of this unit went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be! They provided complimentary wine and beer as well as smores! They also had an extensive collection of DVD's. They went out of their way to provide all of the information we needed for our stay. The location couldn't have been more ideal! Just steps away to the complimentary coffee bar and lobby and pool. Also a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The condo was beautifully decorated-just loved all of the personal touches! Thank you so much! This is a really nice condo. I spoke with the owner over the phone before our stay and he was about as nice as could be. The condo itself was beautifully appointed, very clean, and in an excellent location. The hot tub was large and super hot! What stands out with this particular condo is the exceptionally large bathroom with a separate shower and a spa tub. Really nice! I would recommend this condo without hesitation.

Fantastic ski-in ski-out condo!

The condo was fabulous! The owners are meticulous and think of everything... From the s'mores bar to the complimentary wine and beer, all the amenities of home! The condo common area was right outside the unit's door and provided complimentary keurig coffee, gormet hot chocolate, tea, granola bars and even sunscreen wipes! The outdoor fire pit, hot tub and pool were great after a day of skiing.
The location couldn't have been better. The ski lockers are just steps from the slopes making it easy to come in for lunch. The River Run shops and restaurants are a short walk away, just over the bridge.

Flawless

We have stayed in many condominiums in other areas of Colorado and in other parts of the U.S. Unit 3056 at The Timbers is by far the nicest we have ever experienced. Four Days in the Rockies

We were very pleased with the beautiful condo at The Timbers and would highly recommend it to others. It's location is so convenient for skiing, walking to River Run for shopping and eating (we would highly recommend Wolf Rock Restaurant!), and to just enjoy the magnificent scenery! It was a great vacation!

NO A/C?

We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but had a few issues with ventalation, or the lack of it. To my husband's dismay there was no air conditioning, and because of the design of the unit, no operable windows or screens on the patio doors. As a result we had to leave those doors open when we were there, and locked when away. It was quite warm and stuffy most of the time. The sleep sofa mattress was uncomfortable, but that may be unavoidable. The bedroom, kitchen and baths were very nice. We would have liked to make breakfast but could not find a large skillet, or griddle. The building and grounds are very nice, loved the pool and hot tub.In the winter this would be great for skiing, as the gondola is just steps away.
