And the pool and hot tub across the street were fantastic. Unfortunately, the carpet is in very bad shape and needs to be replaced. The padding is breaking down so badly that it sounds like you're walking on plastic. All the carpet transitions to tile and hardwood are so torn up with exposed tacks that they cut my daughter's foot and tore a pair of my socks. I ended up putting towels down over all of the transitions to protect our feet in this "no shoes" home. Several of the pans have Teflon peeling off and are unsafe to cook with. There weren't enough kitchen towels, pot holders, or oven mitts, but you all were quick to respond and bring us more. Host's response: Thank you for your feedback. Christine Stayed Sep, 2024 Review This is a lovely unit, with beautiful views of trees from the living room. The kitchen and baths are modern and very nice. Master bedroom is a good size and the bathroom is huge, with a walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms are reasonable size & have nice baths. The pool and clubhouse are across the street, which is great. The neighborhood is very nice. A few things I would have liked to know: if you have a mobile baby/toddler, there are two sets of stairs-- one is very steep and comes from the entry straight up to the first level living space. Also there are small open areas if you have someone who can climb-- these are open to levels below. The deck is for two people and it wasn't clear there was a yard we could use. No one answered bc of the holiday weekend. There is no grill-- a community grill at the pool. Be sure to get WIFI info in advance-- I put a note in the guestbook with it.
