First, we are very familiar with Keystone, we have come here often over the 40 years we have lived in Colorado. Keystone has developed very nicely. It has always been and remains low key, even when its hosting major events, as it did this particular weekend (Wine & Jazz Festival as well as the Triple ByPass). We came to Keystone looking for peace and quiet as well as to avoid high 90's in Denver. We did get our peace and quiet with a side of cool mountain. The place was great, though a bit on the small side. It was beautiful, well-furnished and well-equipped (we did a lot of cooking). The area was peaceful. It was also very close to where I like to go (turning RIGHT on Montezuma Road to head into the great four-wheel trials nearby). We did climb Glacier Mountain in our jeep. Yet, it is just a short walk to River Run (and the Jazz Fest). The only disappointment: the pool/hot tub area was also small and relatively crowded the whole time. We never did use it. Pity.

Perfect for our weekend stay

We had a wonderful stay at a condo in Settlers Creek! We stayed for the weekend and it was so nice to sleep in for another hour rather than battle the I-70 traffic. Our kids were on time for ski lessons! The condo had everything we needed and wished we could have stayed longer. The hot tub had a LOT of chemicals, but that was the only thing we would have changed. Otherwise, fantastic, quiet and relaxing area of Keystone. Would definitely book again!

Great Location Near the Slopes!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property during our recent ski trip as a family. The location could not be more ideal (3 minute drive to the gondola parking lot). The amenities at Mimi's Cabin, including two hot tubs and a pool table, were an added bonus. The only negative feedback is that the bed in the master bedroom is small and uncomfortable. Also, when the neighboring unit flushes the toilet, it sounds like a flood rushing through the walls (I kid you not). Overall though, we were very happy and would stay here again. Thumbs up!

Beautiful Place

Great location and beautiful area. Managing the units temp was difficult though. Heater never seemed to hold the temp so it varied from 64-72 which is quite the swing. The community center is very small. Pool and two hot tubs were always very small so not enough room to really enjoy once other guests arrive. All in all, the stay was enjoyable.

Quiet retreat in the trees

My wife and I enjoyed our weekend stay. The condo is in a quiet neighborhood of 4-plexes in a wooded valley about 5 minutes drive from the center of Keystone. The unit was clean and comfortable, with an upscale rustic decor. We would gladly stay here again.

Great Property and Fantastic Neighborhood

Our family booked last minute to stay at this townhouse. It is close to the Keystone resort. I learned at the end of my stay that there is a bus that picks you up every 20 minutes and drops you off by the Gondola. We spent most of our time in Keystone, but Breckenridge is a great town to walk around and the escape room at Escape Breckenridge was a blast. There is a free park to sled at as well and we picked up 4 sleds at Target in Dillon (about 15 minutes away) and was really fun. The only complaint is, as nice as this place is, the bedding was kind of bad. It was like the bed spread i had in 1986. They should just order a two down comforters and duvets at 70 percent off at Macy's or go use a coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond in Dillon a few miles away. Couple that with four decent pillows and the place would feel far more luxurious. I know it was holiday season, so i paid an inflated rate, but at over $700 per night - better bedding would make it perfect. The mattress was fine.

Great location, great unit

We had a great time in the condo. Really enjoyed our stay! Was sad about the pool and hot tub being closed due to covid, but that wasn't the property's fault. The only reason we didn't give this property 5 stars is that there were some plumbing leaks, primarily in the main bath, but in the kitchen as well. Otherwise, the kitchen was nicely stocked, everything was clean and in working order. Lots of space to move around in!

We loved our stay, it was very clean and exactly what we were looking for. It had a gorgeous view through big windows where I was able to watch it snowing, and read a book by the fireplace all at once. We hoped Minnies lodge would be open by the time we took our trip, but understand why it wasnt. Im not sure if our late check in was the cause for no bottle of wine, but it wasnt a big deal. The bathtubs were awesome (clean, and have jets) and the size was perfect for two couples. We had everything we needed. Overall, we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more!

We had a great stay for a week at this nicely decorated, large 2 bedroom townhouse in Keystones Settlers Creek neighborhood. Great view of Keystone mountainside on decks. Very close, within walking distance to Keystone mountain and lifts. Great walking and biking trails right outside unit. Its in a very quiet neighborhood, except there was a constant humming sound when outside on the decks. Were still unsure what it was. This home was well taken care of and maintained. The sprinkler system is right outside bedroom windows and were quite loud while trying to sleep with windows open. The beds were comfortable. The occupants in the home above us had small children and we could hear them throwing tantrums with the windows open, quite frequently. Also, when the toilets flushed or the water ran in unit above, it was pretty loud in our unit. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed to cook meals, except condiments. Only salt and pepper for spices were available. They had a coffee maker, but a Keurig would be nice this day and age. Ice maker not working. There was no bottle of wine or welcome basket as stated for premium property. We were looking forward to trying local wine, but maybe next time. There were extra pillows and scratchy blankets, but no extra linens or throw blankets. They had nice towels for the bathrooms, but not any extras, and only 2 washcloths for the kitchen, no dish towels. That just meant doing lots of laundry while there; thank goodness for the washer and dryer in the unit. They had plenty of toilet paper. The weather was gorgeous for the entire week, with exception of the air quality from the fires in the surrounding counties. Its so sad to see the beautiful mountains burning down! The pool at Minnies Cabin is small, especially for neighborhood of that size. Also, the large hot tub was cold and the small one wasnt hot enough. We let the management know. The SkyRun customer service was great. Fennas promt responses were greatly appreciated. The several small things stated above are why we gave 4/5 stars, but these are things I would like to know if I was staying here so that I can bring what we need instead of having to go out and buy them when we get there. We would stay here in the future and recommend to friends and family.

2 bedroom offers a lot of square footage. We loved the shuttle service proximity to Keystone. We even walked on the nature trail during the winter which was beautiful. We plan to be back this summer to try out cycling in the area.

6551 Settlers Creek, Keystone

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in the Settlers Creek Townhome community. Its a great place to stay if you are looking to be close to the mountains but far enough to be in peace, quiet, serenity. Townhome itself was very nice, clean - family room provided enough seating for us to stretch out. Could use some additional bowls in kitchen and mattress in main bedroom should be replaced.

Highly recommend using Skyrun again for rentals - Cheri was so helpful and responsive with finding the rental and giving advice/recommendations on services, ski rentals, etc.

Place was great---clubhouse needs better maintenance

The Place we stayed in was great, plenty of room. It would have been nice to have a garage but not a big deal. The pool, hot tub and clubhouse are really nice but not well maintained. We went to the hot tub on Friday night and there were cups laying everywhere, and no towels at all. Called Housekeeping and they were supposed to send some up, but they didn't show up after almost 45 minutes.

Wonderful

I liked this townhouse because it was tucked away from the bustle of everything but still close to River Run. This townhome was very nice and decorated tastefully. We liked having all the bedrooms below our living area so it was totally quiet at night. The SkyRun service was great. We actually were able to check-in early, and after I lost a key they cheerfully and quickly replaced it and gave us some extras. My only warning is that there are stairs if you have babies/toddlers, so take a babygate with you.

Overall very nice townhome

We had a very pleasant stay this winter at settlers creek. The unit is cozy, with a nice view and good location close to the river run village.
However, some areas of the house need to be updated such as the main bathroom(it doesn t even have the privacy of a door). The carpets need to be changed and the matress of the main bedroom as well as the pillows are not very comfortable. Overall a good experience but you certainly would upgrade this property if you consider these changes.

The accomodations were very nice and we would definitely stay here again. We have rented in Keystone 4 different summers for 2-3 months and this was the best!

Please note: the carpet needs to be replaced and the microwave oven blew the fuse too often.

Great location, perfect for a family, and quiet!

All in all a great place for the money. The kids loved the pool/hot tubs, and they are a just a short walk away. Very quiet setting!

What I was slightly disappointed by was a few maintenance items: jacuzzi jets not working, bedroom fan on hi with no way to adjust it, a little light on kitchen utensils and children's dishes. Those things are tolerable, but I still would have expected just a bit more out of a "premium" property. Still I would stay there again.
