The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious meal and serve at the dining table fit for four guests. The primary bedroom features a queen size bed and a flat screen TV. The bathroom in this unit contains a tub/shower combo. Feel the pulse while staying in the heart of River Run Village. Located just a 2-minute walk from the gondola, you can easily access the slopes and enjoy the fresh powder. Black Bear Lodge has many amenities to perfect your stay. It was a fair price for the location and time of year. Just note the scene outside gets loud as early as 0700 in the morning, usually not a big deal but we had to have windows open to keep the place cool, so it was loud. Location could not have been better for three days of skiing at Keystone with a short two minute walk to the River Run Gondala. And equally easy to walk anywhere in River Run Village. The ski locker, hot tub, and easy parking were all added bonuses. Would definitely stay here again. Hanna Ko Stayed Mar, 2025 Review Black Bear Lodge is right next to the bridge that leads you to the gondola & Summit lift, so location-wise it’s excellent. The lodging is comfortable with most necessities (just wish they had a few more kitchen utensils such as pans for baking, soup ladle, etc.). Bathtub area needs recaulking or better cleaning. Other than that, our family enjoyed our stay and loved finding new trails to explore on the mountain. Management responded promptly with any needs we had. Laundry room is just two doors down (it’s free), but we did have some issues with rude guests from the other condos taking people’s clothes out of the washing machine & dryer and leaving them sopping wet on the counters. The location was perfect, and in walking distance to restaurants, shops, live music, and of course the ski hill. We used the hot tub and sauna that was on the main floor.
