We appreciated the convenient location and the space was perfect for two people. You may already know about these two items but wanted to share that the kitchen table chairs are in need of attention - one fell apart before being sat in and the other two were wobbly and unstable. The baseboard in the bedroom makes a sound like it perhaps could use some repair. Neither were a problem for us, we just wanted to let you know. Thanks! The main bed was old and extremely uncomfortable and the pull out mattress supports were broken. The check in process/getting access to the unit was unnecessarily difficult. The unit had a persistent, rhythmic mechanical vibration overnight that made sustained sleep impossible across multiple nights. This was not a transient or subjective issue and appears to be a known, recurring condition based on prior guest feedback. Renting the unit without disclosure or remediation of this problem is unacceptable for a property marketed for overnight accommodation. Equally concerning was the handling of the situation after it was raised. Rather than acknowledging the habitability and sanitation issues or offering a reasonable resolution, the refund request was denied outright, and responsibility was deflected despite clear documentation and prior reports of the same problem. This response is inconsistent with what guests should expect from a professional management company. Host's response: We enjoyed the location, but unfortunately our stay was not restful. Throughout the night there was a persistent rhythmic humming/vibration in the unit that made sustained sleep extremely difficult. This was not occasional noise but a repeating pattern that continued overnight. We attempted to mitigate the issue by sleeping in different areas of the unit, but the disturbance was still present. Additionally, the pull-out couch was not in a clean condition, which limited alternative sleeping options. I would recommend the property manager investigate and address the source of the nighttime mechanical noise, particularly during posted quiet hours, so future guests don’t experience the same sleep disruption. This is one of the buildings that is right in the center of the village and has multiple entrances and exits to get to the slopes, shops, etc. We came in for a quick 3 night stay early on in the ski season and it was just what we needed. Slightly older amenities, but had everything we needed, so not a problem at all. There was the bed in the main room and a pull out couch bed. We could just take the elevator down one floor to get out to the slopes or head the the sauna, hot tub or ski lockers. Nice fireplace as well for a cold night. You need to pick up a packet before going to the unit across the road, but it has very clear instructions on parking, amenities, etc so was helpful. Good Times Nice place, easy to get to lifts. You can either use the hot tubs in the same building or walk via underground garage over to the Dakota building to use the larger pool and hot tubs. My only complaint is that there is not much storage for your luggage and gear in the unit. The kitchen also is equipped with the most basic of cookware. Not the most helpful if you are cooking meals in, but it worked. Towels and linens could use an update. All of theses things can be easily overlooked due to being in a prime spot. Lauren M.
