This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit is walking distance to the lifts. The cozy living room features a flat screen TV, fireplace and queen size sleeper sofa. Open up the patio doors to a private balcony and enjoy the stunning mountain views. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities to enjoy delicious home cooked meals. If you don't feel like cooking, enjoy all the exquisite restaurants that River Run has to offer, which is right outside your doorstep. The primary bedroom features a large King size bed, flat screen TV and an en suite. The second bedroom contains two twin size beds and a flat screen TV.  This unit faces the quiet side of the building with a view of the mountains away from the slopes. 

The much desired Dakota Lodge is located in the heart of River Run and features wonderful amenities. Relax in the sauna, take a dip in the heated outdoor pool, or soak in the two gorgeous stone wrapped hot tubs with stunning views of the slopes. River Run features many restaurants, shops, and bars. Dakota Lodge is a stone's throw away from the charming River Run ice skating rink/mini golf.

Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

Location!!!! This place is right at the bottom of the ski lift in the river run village. It has a great hot tub/ pool area and really easy to access restaurants/ lifts in just a few steps. Warm and comfortable room, but beds were hard as a rock. If you are staying, be sure to purchase the insurance plan offered. Their cancellation policy is 30 days in advance, even in the case of extreme weather situations. We had an ice storm in Dallas and were dealing with cancelled flights, lost a day of our stay and unable to be refunded for the day lost because we didnt think wed need the insurance. Their policy is strict and inflexible, not entirely their fault- I should have read the fine print better, but thats the only reason for losing one star. Otherwise, awesome place.

Its all about location and The Dakota has it in spades. A short walk to the gondola and the restaurants and stores are just steps away. From the slopes to hot chocolate in front of the fireplace in 10 minutes.

The check-in process was simple enough featuring a lock-box with an envelope with instructions. The floors of the building do not correspond with the unit numbers. Our unit # was 8493 which was located on the 3rd floor???? Please make that clear. The unit is a 2 bedroom but only has one, two-person ski locker and it was hard to fit all four sets of skis and gear.As others have said, the place is outdated and could really use some TLC but the worse part is not having a door on the master bathroom. Do not rent if you are traveling with non-intimate partners. Also, the master closet was filled with junk! A broken table, four extra chairs (when the place is not even big enough for what is set out) some old table legs among other things. No one seems to be looking out for this place. Overall, the place is good. We had a blast and the resort is just what we needed.

Not incredibly roomy or updated but who cares when you can walk straight through the village and be at the gondola/lift. Overall it was perfect for what we were looking for- somewhere comfy to sleep, warm to eat, and close to the slopes. Heated parking garage and pool/hot tub are also pluses. Extra blankets provided as well as a small box fan for white noise. Balcony has nice view of ice rink and mountains!

We arrived early to the village and the property manager responded right away when asked if we could check in early. It was easy to get the keys for the condo and we were able to check in really early. The condo was spacious and clean. We were pleased with the look of the place. Had a wonderful weekend with my girls. Walking distance is a great pizza place located on the property as well as other places to eat. Loved the roof line lights that were lit up at night. Would be a great vacation during the holidays.

Keystone and Skyrun continue to get it right. The accommodations are always great (and we've stayed at a number of lodges) and the resort is fantastic. We'll be back next year.

Everything with our stay was excellent. My only problem is with Keystone Resorts. Keystone Resorts will only allow 1 vehicle per condo. It is 100% not possible to get a 2nd vehicle added. They do not offer convenient overnight parking for guests with more than one vehicle. There are ZERO payed or free overnight options near any property in the River Run area. You will have to park 1.5 miles from any condo there. I feel sorry for anyone that has more than one vehicle staying at a condo.

Dakota Lodge Booked Through Gondola Resorts, Inc.

Nice GOLD-RATED condo in the middle of River Run Village was perfect for our family of 4. Easy checkin through Gondola Resorts Keystone office. Easy parking. Would recommend staying here. Fair price. We had 2 lights burn out, and maintenance manager was there in 30-minutes to replace.

Great condo walk to skiing

Great property - we walked to the slopes, restaurants, entertainment, services, even grocery store right next door. It is very quiet and also within 3 minutes walk to everything. Condo is very clean, with good layout. Super customer service by property managers. We stay in this condo every year for 10 years. Love it!!!

Paradise as you only park once

Great rental so very convenient to the ski areas....... You really don't have to go anywhere that you cannot walk to. Beautiful view of the night skiing and fireworks from our room. Warm, roomy, and fit two families with kids for dinner one night. We were three adults and one child who stayed here. Spas were terrific. After a snow it was beautiful. Definitely would return here with children as under 12 ski free. A bargain for a few years!

Wonderful accommodations!

The Dakota Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean and well appointed. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive.
The location was very convenient. The Keystone Village and the gondola were a very short walk.
And covered parking in the basement was great.
