Cozy, close to gondola

It's a cozy cute little condo with just enough room for 3 of us, could fit a few more - there are a few roll away beds in the bedroom closest, would have been cramped to have one of those out. Also, the owner locks the big fridge/freezer and provides a smaller one for the guests that is slightly bigger than a mini fridge. If you are staying a week and planning to eat in you'll struggle to have room for your food. The property has games, pool and hot tub providing other fun things to do.

Great Location

Check in was so easy. Very short walk to Gondola. Beds are nice and clean. Dishes not so much. Some cups were dirty with what looked like dried milk in the bottom. Some silverware had dried food on them as well as a few pots and pans. Overall clean place and would visit again. Thanks

Unit Just OK - Location Great

We have stayed in probably 6 different units in the Springs so I feel we have a good variety of what is rentable and have stayed on all sides and floors of the property.Location - the BEST to the gondola.Ski Locker location and pool/hot tubs are also great features.This unit was just ok. Pretty dated in all aspects. Unit location was not great as it sits in front of property (on circular drive) on ground floor, so you hear a lot of noise especially keeping windows open for cool air.There were no sharp knives or scissors for kitchen so opening and cutting was very challenging while cooking. There were also very limited forks and regular knives so we constantly were washing dishes.Showers temp was very challenging to regulate to either not burn or be too cool.Kitchen table was very large for space, so getting around in unit was annoying since chairs would not all fit under table - which was strange since table was so big.Basically this unit needs TLC to be comparable with many other units at the Springs.

We enjoyed our visit at the unit in The Springs at Keystone. The unit was cozy and held our family of four nicely. The queen in the second bedroom made it a bit challenging for brother and sister to fall asleep quickly, but we managed. The fireplace was great and the amenities were nice, especially the hot tubs. You almost cant get any closer to the River Run Gondola, and its a short walk to the Village itself. The appliances were a bit outdated and some had broken parts which detracted a bit from the experience. The bed was hard for our tastes and we had a little trouble sleeping. Overall though, our stay was great and wed stay here again.

Great location for a family ski vacation. You literally cannot get any closer to the gondola. The heated parking was great and the pool/hot tub/sauna were a luxury in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and small kitchen appliances that were actuallyin good conditions ( most air b and b I stay in have warped pans with half the nonstick left). Communication was great and I will definitely be looking to come back next time we come to Keystone.

We enjoyed our stay at the springs! The location in proximity to the slopes was perfect! The heated parking garage is nice too! Our only complaint is the lighting in the condo. It is VERY dim inside. Also, many of the dishes had big chips in them (didnt bother us but thought youd like to know) and the windows were very dirty.

We had a great stay during Covid. This didnt stop us from enjoying the Gondola and the many other things to do in the area. Many restaurants and bars closed early by around 11pm. Things seem to be picking up and getting busier.

8824 The Springs

Great location and comfy 2 BR condo perfect for our family of four. Easy short walk to Gondola and River Run Village. Only thing missing was washer and dryer although there is one in the complex that you can pay to use.

Exceptional

Perfect place to stay in Keystone!

This vacation was just what we were looking for! The unit was great and there was a bonus fold-up twin bed that gave our kids extra room to sleep! We had everything we needed to cook with in the kitchen which made going out to eat only necessary if we wanted to go, but it's much more economical to eat in, especially during a ski day for lunch. Our kids LOVED the pool and the waterslide and made for a good reward after a day of skiing. Then to add on smores at night, the kids were in heaven. The unit appeared to have been updated recently so it was a nice unit to be in. Thank you for a great place to stay--we will be back and will seek out your unit!

Easy Access to the Mountain

I traveled to Keystone for an intense three days of skiing with a cousin and friend. We selected the property because we did not want to deal with transportation once we arrived at the mountain. The unit is positioned close to the mountain within the footprint of the building. It is also an easy walk to the base village area. We made use of the two bedrooms and the sofa bed. It all worked out well. The place was clean and in good shape. Check in and check out instructions were easy to understand. Overall good amenities and well managed

As described! (this is a good thing)

You can tell that the owners/operators take pride in their home. It was very clean and well-appointed.

Pros: We have a 1 year old and this unit/complex is perfect for kids. They even had a booster seat which was good because we forgot our high chair. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The best part of this unit is the location. It's a 5 minute walk to the gondola/river run village. The heated garage was also great. The condo complex has a 10/10 pool and kid play room. We also greatly appreciated the reasonable price. We've seen similar units go for much more during peak season.

Cons: The place to check-in was hard to find. Now that we've done it it's easy to find again but the directions weren't great. It also got pretty hot (which is likely a building issue) but that was easily fixed by cracking a window. The other downside is that it was close to a walkway so we heard some later-night noise because the window was open.

We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable Condo- Great Value

The reps for Skyrun Vacation Rentals were great to work with- great follow-up, communication and friendly service. We saved about 40% renting from Sky Run vs. directly from Keystone Resort. The condo was clean, comfortable and spacious. We did read the reviews were some guests complained about noise. You could hear ski boots in the stairwells on the concrete stairs- but you could hear them just about anywhere in the building- so that wasn't even a consideration. The location is fabulous- location, location, location. Last year we stayed at Mountain House- which our son likes the Peru Express to the a51 Terrain Park- but we loved being steps from the Gondola. We will definitely rent this condo again from Sky Run- It was the perfect fit for us- we had a great time- great accomodations- fantastic service- reasonable rates- no complaints- Wonderful memories! Thank you 8824 Owners and Sky Run for helping to make our vacation wonderful! 🙂

8824 The Springs - River Run

We've stayed in the springs several times and this unit was overall very good. The location is immediately adjacent to the main entrance of the building, which is not advertised, so there was some traffic outside, but it was not overly distracting. The bedrooms were good size, however the kitchen/dining area is rather small compared to other units in the building. This would not be a deal breaker for future considerations.

There was no internet access provided, which would have been a bonus. Overall great location, with a short walk to the village and gondola.

Great Location and amenities

This is the second year that we have stayed at The Springs. We love the location - just a short walk to the gondola. The amenties are great, too. We particilarly liked the hot tub and heated pool after a hard day of skiing. The unit was clean and well maintained and suited our family perfectly. I would definitely recommend this unit and location and will return here on my next ski vacation!
