The unit was comfortable and clean. Only negative was the hall bath which was small and cramped. The only reason for 4 stars was the walk to the beach and the available beach space. When looking at the pictures you see beach chairs and umbrellas, those aren't for public use and the beach space they take up is also unavailable to the public. We were told by the guys working the service that they were for another condominium group off of the harbor so we couldn't rent them and we had to find beach space on either side of their area. To some this may not be a big deal, but to us, it was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the trek to the beach with a wagon was awful! I guess that's no one's fault, just wanted others to know that if your wagon isn't specifically made for the sand to prepare to work yourself to death pulling it. Stayed Jun, 2022 Lovely view The view from this condo was amazing; however, the walk is ridiculously long to get to the beach. Half of the beach is reserved for guests staying at another hotel that has to shuttle over via boat which leaves you having to walk even farther. No bathrooms are close by. This beach is also where every snorkeling boat drops their guests off to snorkel, so it can get crowded quickly. The condo was nice and the complex itself is small so not too crowded. If people are at the pool late at night it can be a little loud, which might be difficult for guest with young children trying to sleep. Stayed Jul, 2021 June 2021 First time visiting Destin We had a great time staying at this location for the first time! It is smaller and a lot less busy than the places we usually stay at in PCB. Our condo was very clean, was gated, and the pool area was well equipped and clean. The other reviews are correct in stating that it is a bit of a walk down to the beach. Our activity tracker measured the walk to be 1/4 of a mile IF you are walking past the reserved chairs/umbrellas to set up your own. It was a slight disappointment that so much of the beach was reserved for Emerald Grande guests and the rest of us had to walk further down to find a spot. A huge plus is that the area where we could set up was one of the areas that at least 5 different snorkeling companies stop on their tours. So, bring your snorkel masks and you will get to see all sorts of fun things!! We even saw a group of Dory fish and needle fish!We learned that during the summer there are fireworks to be seen right on this beach every Thursday night. They started at about 9 and the show was great!!If you dont mind get your steps in on vacation, this is a great choice! We will definitely recommend it to others!! Meghan A. Stayed Jul, 2021 JUST WOW First I want to say that the entire trip was amazing despite the rain. Edgar was a life saver and amazing host. Without him we would not have had a vacation at all. He answered all questions right away. Even the stupid questions I asked like how to fix the tv lol. The location was perfect and tucked back away from all the traffic getting into Destin. We could see the beach from the condo balcony. It was very quiet. Kids loved the pool and you can just walk right out the back to the beach. The place was very clean. They had some cookware but I'm a big cooker and was glad I brought some of my own pans with me. The jetties were close so fishing and snorkeling was always an option. We caught plenty of fish and even caught a shark at night. Just be aware that all boats stop in large numbers at the beach during the day so we would wait out the crowds. Only issue I had in the unit was the bathroom doors would not stay closed and we had to mess with it awhile to get them to stay closed even when locked. we were so bummed to leave but we have already started looking into coming back here next year. The comdo is ran by a property management company so you didnt get the usual touches you get when renting from a private owner. No even a salt shaker left behind. Maybe that is a covid thing? The walk to the jetty beach is fine. It is over dunes, as seen in pics, but it is hard in anyone with mobility issues. The walk to the actual gulf beach was very long, so be prepared. The jetty beach is used by another resort, which took up a lot of room and made it quite crowded. The fishing is good off the jetty so bring a pole. Overall it was a nice stay. We traveled from Houston to Florida and Edgar was very accommodating. The unit looks out to the pool as well as to the beach. The beach was literally within a walking distance. Many tour boats would come and dock right on the beach area facing our unit. The unit is at a great beach location. The unit was stocked with sample size basic needs stuff.
