Let's Talk!

Burlington

Burlington, VT, offers a charming blend of scenic lake views, vibrant arts, and a welcoming community that makes every visit memorable. Strolling through its downtown, you’ll find unique boutiques, lively cafes, and the picturesque waterfront of Lake Champlain.

Shopping

The mountain’s retail shops equip you with everything for skiing and snowboarding. Treat yourself to  gifts and souvenirs and venture into Wilmington’s downtown. Delight in an old-fashioned candy store (root beer barrels enthusiasts rejoice!), New England arts and crafts, an independent bookstore, antiques, and one-of-a-kind gifts.

Dining

A stay on the mountain means full bellies to fuel runs. Pop in for one of the mountain’s grab-and-go options or sit down at a cafe and enjoy favorites like grain bowls, ramen, and grilled cheese. Take a respite from the slopes and lunch on food court options like pizza and sandwiches or  order a burger to your liking. Après means craft cocktails and beers and dinner options feature farm-to-table meals infused with the bounty of Southern Vermont’s flourishing agriculture. If you’re off mountain and in nearby towns of Wilmington or Dover, enjoy slices of wood-fired pizza, modern comfort food, casual Mexican, and breakfast favorites.

Spas

Nestled in the Grand Summit Resort Hotel, Naturespa’s services invite you to take a wellness and relaxation journey with immersive snowshoeing forest tours, Peloton rooms, a fitness center, and a pool. Soothe your overworked muscles with one of the spa’s body treatments or facial enhancements. The facility’s attention to total wellness is a high point of any Mount Snow stay.

Bowling and Mini Golf

Bowl like a New Englander! Candlepin bowling’s heavier pins and smaller bowling balls make the trip to nearby Wilmington an excursion for the whole family. Pair bowling with the facility’s sheltered mini-golf and arcade for a full day of off-line gaming.

Arts and Culture

Get up close and personal with native Vermont species at the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum. With exhibits highlighting ecology, geology, live animals, and natural history, the museum’s events and programming, in addition to the more than 600 acres of protected hiking trails, make it a year-round delight. If a show or film is on the ticket, check out Dover’s Memorial Hall Center for the Arts, which stages live performances as well as shows first-run films.

Mount Snow

Within a few hours of many East Coast cities, Mount Snow lures skiers with four mountain faces–6% Green Circle, 66% Blue Square, and 18% Black Diamond, offering mountain accessibility for multiple ability levels. Average 150 inches of snowfall blankets the 10 terrain parks and the half pipe. Mount Snow’s summit elevation of 1,700 feet amps up the fun and 19 lifts mean less time standing in line and more whooshing downhill.

Timber Creek Cross Country Ski Area

Across from Mount Snow lies Timber Creek Cross Country Ski Area, nestled in the Green Mountains and offering cross country skiers and snowshoers multiple trails of powder to explore. With its proximity to Mount Snow, avid skiers don’t have to choose between slopes and trails. Round out your Mount Snow a day on Timber Creek’s trails.

Golf

Tee off and leaf peep at the same time when you hit Mount Snow Golf Club, rated by Golf Digest as one of Vermont’s top five courses. This 18-hole championship course might make players’ hearts pump with its 41 sand traps, but the course views of the Green Mountains–including Mount Snow and Haystack–bring a sense of calm to the play. Come test your skills at this course, which is open daily all summer.

Mount Snow Bike Park

Mount Snow becomes Mount Bike when the summer months hit and the trails open. Bikers fly down the Vermont countryside and ladders, first jumps, man made surfaces, and berms test your skills and pump up thrills. Check out Gateway, one of the East’s longest downhill trails. Bring your own bike or rent one from Mount Snow Sports at the Main Base.

Scenic Chairlift Rides

Kick back and ride in the treetops in a scenic chairlift ride. The Bluebird Express’ ride through Mount Snow’s piney trees puts memory making and relaxation first.  Rides are open Friday through Sunday from mid-June until October. Visit the Clocktower ticket window to grab your tickets.

Outdoor Exploration Camp

Give mini-explorers a chance to discover the Green Mountains with the Outdoor Explorers Camp. Daily activities vary but include biking, hiking, golfing, swimming, chairlift rides, arts, crafts, and exploring local attractions. With day passes up to full summer sign-ups for campers in grades first through sixth, kids will connect with nature and community.

Hiking

Hike Mount Snow or venture out to one of the nearby Vermont State Parks for an idyllic summer’s day or a vigorous outdoor workout. The Southern Vermont Trail Association offers maps to plot your course through the Dover Town Forest, Horace Hill, the Stratton Town Forest, and Crosstown hikes. Whatever your speed, lace up and find the trail right for you.

Water Sports

Take a short ride from Mount Snow to Lake Whittingham (also known as Harriman Reservoir) to enjoy stand-up paddleboarding, boating, and kayaking along the lake’s eight-mile stretch through the Green Mountains. Spend the morning swimming and sit lakeside under the trees with a picnic lunch. Let the crisp mountain air and water recharge your body and spirit. Feeling a little riskier? Rent a Jet Ski for high-charged thrills.

Horseback Riding

Book a trail ride to explore the mountain landscape on horseback or up your skills with a riding lesson. Located a short ten minutes’ from Mount Snow, Brookside Stables’ equine adventures make your Mount Snow stay memorable.

Property Damage Waiver

Enjoy peace-of-mind with our incidental damage protection.

SkyRun includes a property damage protection waiver on each reservation. The damage waiver covers damage to the property up to $1,500 so long as the damage is accidental and reported to SkyRun prior to your departure.  It does not cover damage that is willful, the result of negligence, or damaged caused by the misuse of household items.  It also doesn’t cover unreported damage.  SkyRun doesn’t charge our guests a refundable damage deposit in lieu of the waiver. Unlike a refundable damage deposit, the damage protection waiver is nonrefundable.

If during your rental of our property, you damage the real or personal property assigned to that property, SkyRun will cover the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to an amount not to exceed $1,500. Should the cost of the damage exceed $1,500 or does not meet the criteria for a “covered loss”, and the property owner’s insurance policy also does not cover the loss, then you shall be responsible for the full amount of the damage which will be charged to the credit card on file.  Coverage is provided to you and all travelling companions that are staying in the home overnight during your stay.

Coverage is not provided for loss due to:

  • Your intentional acts or gross negligence.
  • Any damage that occurs if you are in violation of the terms and conditions (including but not limited to having more than maximum occupancy or having a party).
  • Loss, theft or damage to any personal effects owned by you or brought on the covered stay by you.
  • Loss, theft or damage caused by any person other than you or your traveling companions with whom you share the property reservation unless substantiated by a police report.
Your Duties in the Event of Damage. You must:
  • Take all reasonable, necessary steps to protect the property and prevent further damage to it.
  • Report the loss in writing (email ok) prior to check-out to the SkyRun staff.
  • Provide us documentation such as pictures to substantiate the claim.

Late check-outs must be coordinated directly with the SkyRun office no later than 9 am on the day of departure; please note that if we have an incoming guest we will not be able to accommodate a late checkout.  We ask that guests remove major trash from the unit, return the furniture to its original location, and load and run the dishwasher.

Our past experiences had us on edge, considering selling our property. However, SkyRun, particularly Rachel, transformed our experience. She not only secured our Airbnb listing but also maximized our rental income by strategically marketing our three condos for special events.

SkyRun’s staff has always treated my properties as if they were their own, and that’s such a comforting feeling. I’m very happy with the income stream generated through SkyRun’s property management!

KarenWondervu, CO

Over the years, we have had about a half dozen other management companies. Since working with SkyRun, we have had more rentals in two years than the other management companies combined over 10 years. They are great to work with!

With SkyRun, we immediately felt respected as homeowners. We’ve owned in Ridgepoint for over 25 years. This is not our first rodeo, but it is our best one.

Mount Snow Frequently Asked Questions

SkyRun provides photos, maps, amenity details and reviews about the property you will be renting. Our staff has first-hand knowledge of each property, so don't hesitate to call us if you have any questions.

You can rent any of our properties by booking directly on this website using a credit card or you can call to book a reservation if you would like to speak with a vacation planner.
When you book, 1/3 of your total reservation cost, or a minimum of $300, is charged as a non-refundable deposit to secure your rental. Thirty days before your arrival, the remaining amount is due. At this time, the credit card we have on file will be automatically charged for the balance. You may cancel for a full, no-questions-asked refund up to 14 days before your arrival. After that, your payment becomes non-refundable. (See travel insurance above for exceptions).

We provide everything you expect from a fine hotel, and then some. Our rentals come fully furnished, including TVs, high-speed internet, linens and towels, a microwave, dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials.  We provide supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, tissues, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, soaps, trash bags, etc.  Refer to individual listings to see more amenity information, and please contact us directly if you still have questions.

When you book directly with SkyRun you avoid paying service fees you might incur with traditional listing channels, such as Airbnb. Our prices are competitive with rent-from-owner rates, but we offer professional service, optional travel insurance, and immediate on-site assistance should the need arise.  In addition, we offer exclusive discounts from local businesses, available only to SkyRun guests.

For most properties, SkyRun utilizes a convenient keypad lock system which allows you to enter your vacation rental using a personalized access code, as opposed to having to pick up a key and worrying about keeping track of it during your stay and returning it afterwards. This also saves you the trouble of coming to a check-in center beforehand. Your welcome packet will be in your rental upon arrival, and our staff is always only a phone call away if questions arise.

Travel insurance is an optional addition to your total rental charges. It is offered on our reservation form at the time of booking. It is also usually offered at the time of booking when you book with a 3rd party booking site. You may also add travel insurance to your reservation within 48 hours of booking. The cost of travel insurance varies and is usually between 7%-9.5% of your total reservation cost, depending on the coverage type.  If you do not have travel insurance, you cannot cancel your reservation for any reason.  If you have travel insurance and need to cancel or make a claim, refer to your specific policy.
