Snow. Featuring a large great room that takes in the views of Spruce Lake. The large deck and yard are inviting features of this home. Enjoy swimming in the lake or canoe directly from the property or walk down to Sandy Beach. Create amazing family memories year-round with multiple living spaces and a large game room. Everyone had plenty of space and we used everything from the Ping Pong table, to the Hot Tub. The fully eqipped kitchen made it great to cook when needed. We all talked about coming back in warmer weather perhaps to utilize the lake, the BBQ and deck too. We went to Mt. Snow, did an escape room as a group, played poker, sang Karaoke and all done in a 3 night stay. Sky Run was great to work with as well. No complaints here and would highly recommend!! SkyRun was also very accommodating to us which we greatly appreciated. We are a young group so in terms of cleanliness we werent exactly in need of something pristine however I do think the house could have used a once over. The main things like the bedding and house itself seemed clean. There were just some things left behind and the fridge could have used a deep clean. Christina Stayed Nov, 2023 Review The house was absolutely beautiful and had the authentic cabin feel we were looking for. The living spaces easily fit our group of 9 and there was plenty of beds. The hot tub was a favorite feature of ours overlooking the lake and was fairly big. Our group loved using the outside deck space to stargaze at night. We also had a fairly easy time getting the grill started up.My only caution which is not directly related to the Airbnb is the road its on. We arrived at night and Waze took us past the address and it was hard to find the right house in the dark with no street lights as the driveway is long. The road is also dirt and was a bit muddy and we had 1 car get stuck for a period of time - would advise SUVs. Host's response: Thrilled you vibed with the cabin feels! Not that we even needed to leave the house- there was endless fun to enjoykayaks, SUPs, a ping pong table, a fire pit, and just tons of space and land and a lovely lake right at the base of the property. We spent four nights at this Airbnb with several friends and there was PLENTY of room of all of us, plenty of full bathrooms, and a great communal living space opening up to the best porch overlooking the lake! There seemed to be hooks on doors/general items that need to be tightened/screwed in better/hung up. Things sort of fell off doors and walls when we attempted to use them. Not a big deal at all, but could stand a whole house once-over!Finally, the oven was unusable and needed to be cleaned. It appeared to create grease-induced smoke (and thus set off the alarm system for an hour with no clear instructions how to turn off).Overall 8/10-would ABSOLUTELY return! The house had all the listed amenities and was located in a great quiet area right on the lake! They provided several boats and the lake itself had great water and really lovely views (green all around). The outdoor space was great and we enjoyed the Hot Tub and BBQ each day! The deck is nice with the BBQ right by the door for convenience. Our main complaints were that the house main space were hot and no net on the ping pong table. The standing fans weren't working either, which would have helped in the main spaces. The bedrooms all had window AC, so we slept well!Overall, we loved the house and think it's ideal for either groups of 6-10 adult friends or 2 families! But for the price it should be better maintained: for example, the upper deck rail is rotting, unstable and therefore unsafe; picnic table is rotted out and unusable with exposed nails; hot tub cover lever is broken. I alerted the management company of these items and they were not addressed during our stay. Id recommend you confirm they have been addressed before paying this premium price for a rental. We had such a great time and would definitely come back! If you are arriving after dark, be aware that the road and driveway leading to the house and very dark and there is a lake so drive slowly! But this house had all the amenities we needed, and it's really close to downtown Wilmington which is adorable. We were able to get pizza delivered our first night, and we also got takeout from a local restaurant while we were there, everyone was super nice and the food was great. The hot tub at this house is very large and can fit a bunch of people. You have a great view of the lake from the hot tub. There's tons of room to spread out over three floors so it's good for a large group. The house has lots of bathrooms and the bedrooms are spread out in a way that makes it easy for some people to go to bed and others to stay up late.
