Creekside at Northstar offers the perfect setting to gather for adventure, sport, wellness, and reconnection with family and friends.  Experience the luxury, comfort, and calm of a newly remodeled 3040 sq. ft. private vacation retreat in the heart of the exclusive Northstar resort neighborhood. It is minutes away from Northstar Resort slopes, hiking and biking trails, and golf course, as well as the vibrant Village at Northstar that offers dining, shopping, entertainment, and activities for all ages. 
This four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home was remodeled and extensively refurbished in 2021 with the comfort of your family in mind.  The expansive, open living room, is flooded with light from the skylights and bank of windows.  A gas fireplace set in a large stone hearth anchors the room and provides warmth after skiing, hiking, or sledding down the slopes behind the house.  Sink into the comfortable oversized sectional couch and leather armchairs and take in the expansive views of the mountain pines and Northstar golf course, or watch your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV. 
Gather with friends and family in the adjoining dining area at the beautiful 10-person glass dining table, or have sunset beverages while listening to the nearby creek and mountain birds on the roomy upper outdoor deck in summer.  The deck also features outdoor dining furniture and seating (seasonal).The entirely remodeled and fully equipped gourmet kitchen features beautiful natural stone counters, wood floors, and cherry cabinets.  JennAir kitchen appliances were all new in 2021, and include a gas oven and range, warming drawer, large refrigerator/freezer, microwave drawer and dishwasher. An island with sink provides additional counter space, and a plethora of cabinets and drawers are in easy reach and well stocked with cooking essentials, including all new cookware. The kitchen has a cathedral ceiling with recessed and track lighting and a skylight, in addition to large windows and a sliding glass door which leads to the outdoor deck.  Surrounded by pines and light, you can create your favorite meal, or sip your morning coffee at the breakfast bar and plan your next adventure while the Sonos music system plays your soundtrack for the day.In the loft overlooking the living room, you can have your most productive remote work sessions ever with two motorized adjustable standing desks, or watch your favorite movie or show on the large flat screen TV from the sofa or massage chair. 
Downstairs you will find the game room, equipped with a pool table, wet bar with seating, beverage refrigerator, large flat-screen TV, and heating stove.  A door from this room leads to the lower deck, and stairs provide access to the backyard, adjacent West Martis Creek, and paths that lead along the banks of the creek to a footbridge that crosses to the Northstar Golf Course.
The downstairs master king bedroom is a serene, Zen-inspired space designed to let your day begin and end in spa-like peace.  Sink into the California king platform bed surrounded by pristine bedlinens and a sumptuous down duvet for a restorative night of sleep, or curl up with your latest book in the private seating area by the wall of windows that overlook evergreens, aspens, and the banks of the creek.  As with all other rooms in the house, a touch of a button will raise and lower the automatic shades.  Lying in bed watching the shades open in the morning to reveal freshly falling snow or blue jays landing in the trees is an experience you will not forget.  The ensuite bathroom features a jetted soaking tub, single vanity, large closet, walk-in shower, and private toilet area.
Two other guest rooms are located on the other side of the game room, and share a bathroom with single vanity and private shower/toilet area that is off the game room. The Guest Queen Bedroom has a supremely comfortable queen-sized log pole bed with piles of pillows and a fluffy down duvet, flat screen TV, large closet and dresser, and mountain pine and creek bank views.  Open the windows of this room on a summer night, and fall asleep to cool breezes and the sounds of the nearby creek.  The cozy Bunk Room next door is perfect for kids, offering a twin extra long over queen bunk bed with a twin trundle, wall-mounted flat screen TV, large closet and dresser, and partial view of the pines and golf course. Caution: manufacture recommends a 175-pound limit on the upper bunk. 
The spacious and airy second King master bedroom is located at the mid-level of the house, off the entry foyer. Cathedral ceilings add to the sense of space in this master bedroom.  Large windows fill the room with sunshine and warmth, and provide views of evergreens and aspens in the front and side yards.  Guests in this room will be enveloped in the comfort of the tall California king log pole bed with lush linens and warm duvets. The coordinating log nightstands and cushioned log bench seating with storage drawers, desk with adjustable leather chair, flat-screen TV, and large closet will make you feel entirely at home.  The ensuite bath is steps away, and features a single vanity, natural stone counter, custom cherry wood vanity cabinet and shelves, and a private walk-in shower and toilet area.

Spacious, well-kept house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house in the Northstar village. The house was very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well-stocked - what a treat to have sharp knives and high quality pans in a rental property! Beds were comfy. Getting to and from the Northstar village was very easy with a shuttle. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Best VRBO we have ever stayed in!!!!

Thank you for letting us stay in your AMAZING home! We love to cook and your kitchen is so well stocked! EVERYTHING you need!!! (including a. garlic press, All-Clad cookware, quality glasses including champagneglasses and a huge refrigerator/freezer.)The family room area was a great place to relax with family. And all the details: the automatic blinds, TVs in the rooms, electric fireplaces, the boot/mitten warmers, huge windows to be able to see natural light and nature, two desks (with adjustable height) and massage chair. Perfect way to relax!

Fantastic stay over the winter holiday week

We stayed at this property with another family during the winter holiday week in February. First impression is that the property is very clean and well prepared. The property is well equipped for an extended stay (~5 days) with all the amenities. The kitchen is also fully equipped with all different sort of cooking ware, condiments, and coffee!The location is fantastic such that NorthStar shuttles do door-to-door pick up/drop off. During busy hours, it does take 30 minutes to be picked up, so plan accordingly.The host is highly responsive to the needs and very reachable by text. If possible, we'd love to return to the property again in the future.

Spectacular

We had the great fortune of being the first people to stay in this newly remodeled home. The owners have literally thought of everything. This is by far the most well-appointed vacation rental we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at many across the globe. The kitchen is completely outfitted with a full complement of All-Clad cookware capable of preparing a thanksgiving feast (including a roasting pan/rack, multiple cooking sheets/trays, every imaginable pot and pan). Enjoy a glass of wine in any of the provided Reidel wine glasses (red, white, and champagne). Need a slow cooker that also makes rice, how about just a rice cooker, maybe you need a coffee pot - there are actually two, plus a Keurig, plus an electric tea kettle. You get the idea. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen. It is an epicurean delight. We never ate out; the house was just too well appointed and comfortable for us to leave. If you've never been to Northstar - it has been a while for us, this property is located within the resort grounds. We had read some negative stories about the traffic getting to Northstar, full parking lots and the general hassle of getting to the mountain - it does not exist when you stay here! This means there is a shuttle dedicated to the resort residence properties that you summon from an app, that will stop at your driveway and take you anywhere within the resort grounds. Once done with Skiing (we were there in February), the shuttle returns you directly to your front door. It's all gratis and part of the "resort living" atmosphere that this house provides. Once home we hung our gear in the appropriate places in the garage and took off our boots in the heated mud room. It couldn't be easier. We were two families of 4 with teenagers and we were all able to leave and come back independently based on our individual needs and feelings that day. There was no waiting to load up everyone on different time frames or sleep schedules. It's the equivalent of ski-in-ski-out without the hassle of the village crowds just outside the front door. Back "home' after skiing, for us adults it was likely a glass of wine (back to the Reidel) and a request to Alexa to play whatever we wanted - there is a full amazon music account just for the house - and there is an Alexa in every room along with Sonos throughout. In fact, there is a TV in every bedroom, living room, game room/pub etc. Again, we wanted for nothing. Beds are cozy and the 8 of us had more than enough room. We all loved the blinds which open and close with the click of a button and are found throughout the house. There is nothing like waking up and opening the blinds remotely from the comfort of your bed to reveal a forest of snow-covered pines. It was the first tell of a great day ahead. Book this home if you enjoy convenience and appreciate quality. Side note: We used black tie for our ski equip rental. They came to the house and outfitted all of us within 30 mins and picked up the equipment when finished. Excellent service, great equipment including demos and was less expensive than the resort - book ahead. We also rented a car from Reno airport but didn't need it (given the availability of the private shuttles). We only used the car for the 10 min drive to the grocery store upon arrival and to take our overflow trash to the main trash area. Next time we'll book a r/t shuttle from the airport and have our groceries (and our equipment) delivered.
