Only bummer was the fire place was not working. The cleaning fee, I felt, was extreme for a short weekend. Especially since we emptied the trash, stripped the beds, did the laundry, so it didnt seem much was left for $400. But the place itself was really great. Enough space for all of us. With some planning you can order groceries online but they need to be ordered 24 hours in advance. No idea when it will open. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking, I would agree with previous reviewer that is was sparse on spices (salt and pepper etc). Condo was clean and very well laid out. Winson Stayed Dec, 2023 Review This property was extremely convenient for staying near Okemo, around a 5 minute drive from Clock tower lodge and the hot tub is amazing after a day of snowboarding or skiing. There is a full kitchen with pots, pans, plates etc although you have to remember to bring your own spices / oil if you're cooking. The fridge dispenses water and ice so you won't need to buy those and the rooms are spaced out well. Only downside is the 10am check out and that it isn't a "ski in-ski out" like some other units in the area but the private hot tub is worth the 5 minute drive. Host's response: Thank you! The front had branches and leaves and a large tarp (used for firewood) that was still there when you walked in and the deck was in the same condition. It was not conducive to sitting outside and enjoying the seclusion. I understand this is mostly used for winter skiing but I you are renting in the summer clean up the front and back and make it look inviting. My friends and I came up for a weekend and had an absolutely incredible time! I've been to Okemo a few times and this was by far my favorite stay to date. The hosts were excellent and the check-in process was seamless and easy. The property is right on the mountain, with a secluded tranquil feel while being a short drive from town and barely half a mile to Okemo resort. The house is right on the shuttle pick up path so will be easy for any skiers/snowboarders to get from house to slopes.Loved the mountain cabin vibes - everything was new and updated and the space is beautifully decorated for a woodsy/cabin feel. The property is spacious and super clean with a brand new kitchen, furniture, and everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. We had breakfast on the porch most mornings, which was such a nice and peaceful way to start our days. All of the bedrooms had new TVs with streaming so there was space to hang out as a group, but also made it easy to split up and relax as needed. Our favorite part was the private hot tub amidst the trees! We came during the summer and enjoyed hiking, grilling, restaurants and the local brewery. The owners clearly care for and love their mountain home and want to make sure guests have a great experience. Can't wait to come back in the winter!
