It was a cozy house in a great location. The communication and responsiveness of the host was excellent. The main thing I wish that would be improved are the showers as they were difficult to adjust and water didn't come out of the overhead showerhead. otherwise it was really a great place with the convenience of walking places in town.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough! We stayed here with 2 other couples for a ski weekend, and the house was perfectly sized. We especially enjoyed the great walkable location into town, outdoor ski storage area, and backyard hot sub. We will definitely be back next time were in Park City!

Great House

The house is perfect for a family or small group. Fantastic location walking distance of the town lift and all of Main St. Cozy and clean. Management company was extremely responsive when we had any questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy, clean and super-convenient to the mountain and downtown. But not too close -- so it's still quiet. Hot tub, gas (fake wood) stove, TV room -- all great. Kids loved the upstairs bedroom with loft bed. Only complaint was that kitchen could have used more pots, pans, and other small utensils.

We had a great stay at this property! Plenty of space and a perfect location. There is space to park a car but the restaurants and shopping on Main St are all easily walkable and there is a bus stop right outside that offers free transportation to the mountains. It was so nice to have the hot tub to come back to after a day of skiing. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Great Property

What a great house and location. Minutes walk to Town lift and less to the Harvest coffee shop! Three very comfortable bedrooms with the upstairs being perfect for kids. Everything worked perfectly and we totally enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautifully updated and maintained. Bedding and furniture was both functional and very comfortable. There are tv's in every room. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub is excellent. Main Street is a block away and a simple walk to restaurants, shops and everything else. SkyRun is outstanding with communication and responsiveness from the time of reservation through the time of departure.

Perfect location for a bike/hike trails and Old Town

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at 949. It is clean, well furnished, updated, and has a variety of bed/bath choices. I understand it is a renovation of an 1897 miners cabin...how cool is that? Inside, you can clearly see remnants/archaeology of the old cabin. It is perfectly located, walkable to the Old Town center and trails/City Lift, near a bus line and urban bike/walk trails, and a short drive to groceries, outfitters and other dining/trail opportunities. Seriously, if we had applied ourselves a "little" bit more (or if we brought our own bikes), then we may have never moved our vehicle. We ate breakfast on the front porch to start the day. We soaked in the hot tub after a long day of mountain biking. We hung out on the porch again for sunset. The kitchen was well appointed and worked for the times we ate in. The primary/master suite was comfortable, clean and is connected to the back porch. Basically, you're in the middle of Old Town, but away from the busiest streets. Lucky Ones Coffee is a 5-minute walk (connected to the library) - they have an inspiring mission to employ autistic/challenged kids. Great coffee and crazy affordable. We rented bikes from JANS and a mountain bike tour with White Pine. We should have ridden our bikes to Five5eeds for breakfast instead of driving...we ate breakfast there three times. I put my mountain bike on the town bus and rode up to Montage for a 2-hour mountain bike ride back to 949's hot tub...luxurious. This is the perfect place to use as a ride base camp. We can't wait to come back. M & L

Great location

Wonderful stay at this property - great location very close to Main Street. Very cozy with plenty of space. The only comment that the house was not supplied with hand soap and only one shampoo for the two bathrooms. So perhaps bring your own toiletries.

Great Place, Great Location

This place is truly a gem in Park City. Walk to the town lift takes 3 minutes and Main Street is right around the corner from that. My family was looking for a convenient place for our summer retreat and this hit all of the marks.

Excellent location. Very modern & comfortable accommodations

Fantastic location within Park City...half a block from the Main St retail corridor and steps away from the town ski lift. Literally park your car in the driveway and walk to all of the Park City restaurants & shops during your stay. The house is a very creative expansion / rebuild / renovation of a historic mining cabin. In fact, the award ribbon on the front of the house had passerby's stopping and commenting throughout our stay. We hope to visit again in the near future!

Review

Great cozy cottage with really nice finishes and comfortable furnishings. One thing to note is that it is on Park Avenue which is a fairly busy street, but on the positive side its great for people watching and really close to down town. As you get off of Park the streets get really steep so there is a trade off. The bedrooms are in the back of the house so the street noise is not an issue when sleeping. So all in all, not a big deal, but we were just a little surprised at the busy street. SkyRun was very responsive and communication was great.

I cannot say enough positive things about this cute, historic house. It is in the perfect location, just a street over from Main Street. The house has so much charm and mingles the historic with the modern perfectly. It had everything we could possibly want, from driveway parking to central air. A gift basket fully of treats and wine were such a nice personal touch. The biggest perk was the hot tub in the backyard. What a great way to end a day of hiking and exploring. Communication was prompt and clear. It was a relaxing and fun getaway. We definitely look forward to coming back.

Charming home in the perfect location.

We never had to worry about parking. We were able to walk down town in less than a minute. House is very nicely updated. Upstairs room got a little hot, but other than that it was great. Thankful the home had air conditioning.

Amazing location, comfortable house

I cannot give enough stars for 949 Brekkes Basecamp! Close enough to walk to all the restaurants and anywhere around Main St which will save you time and money. The beds and bathrooms were comfy, the kids loved the loft upstairs, and my husband enjoyed central AC in an unusually hot summer. The hot tub was a plus after a long day of walking/biking. Would love to stay here again in the future!

This historic home is so much fun. Its cozy and inviting. The perfect little getaway place to relax. When you first drive up the little porch is decorated so cute with lights that are on a timer. It feels like coming home. There was also a gift basket with a few local treats, tea and wine. It was very welcoming. The location of this house is amazing. Other houses you have to climb several flights of stairs to get to after shopping around town. This house is ground level. A few minutes from historic downtown and just up the road from grocery stores and gas station. The side door has a really cool covered porch area with a wood beach to strip off wet snowy clothes. There is also a small mushroom/ laundry area to hang things and a floor vent to set boots by to dry. The hot tub on the back porch is a perfect place to warm up after playing in the snow all day. One of our favorite features of the house was the upstairs loft bedroom/office space and the old windows and doors left exposed from the original part of the house in the stairway. There are several large screen TVs throughout the house to keep every age level happy. The littles can watch Blippi in one room while the older kids can binge on Stranger Things in the other and mom and dad can watch boring grown up shows in another. The kitchen has new stainless appliances and is very well stocked. The house must have been upgraded during the remodel with top of the line insulation because its not one bit drafty. The bathroom floors are even warm. The bathrooms have beautiful walk in showers and despite there being 8 of us we never ran out of hot water. We really loved this house and hope to come back again soon. Id like to also add that this house was spotless. The bathrooms, the toilets, the baseboards, the fridge and countertops. Sparkling clean.
