This historic home was assessed as being built in 1897 as the home of Fred Foster, "The Man of Many Jobs" in Routt County. All of the history behind this home gives it so much character and allure, you can't get more 'Steamboat' that! The house has been around for a long time but has seen many updates, giving it a contemporary feel. This home is in an ideal location being a walking distance from downtown restaurants, shops, and the Yampa River. Upon entering the home, you will find the open layout of the living room equipped with two plush couches centered around a gas fireplace and a large flat screen TV. Directly off of the living room, you will find the master bedroom with a queen bed and large dresser with plenty of room to store all of your belongings. As you exit the master bedroom and travel back through the living room, you will enter the beautifully remodeled kitchen stocked with all of the pots, pans, and utensils you will need to cook for the family. Guests will love the breakfast nook with seating for four, surrounding a large window overlooking this quiet, Steamboat neighborhood. There is additional seating for four at the dining room table connected to the living room. As you pass through the kitchen, there is another bedroom and the master bathroom. The bedroom can sleep up to 5 people with a twin over full bed as well as a twin with a twin trundle.
