We were able to check in early which was extremely helpful since we had all of our ski gear. Lots of sunlight and big windows. Gas fireplace was a nice touch. Bus is a little far, recommend cutting through chateaux chamonix to access slopes - this is how we walked to and from the mountain every day. Nice hot tub. Nice Weber grill for steaks. You walk a couple blocks downhill in the morning and can cut into a path where you can then ski down to the gondola. It seems as though some of the comments from prior guests have resulted in positive changes at the property (for example, there are now many pots/pans and a new blender and there are pads on the beds to make them softer). The only heads up that I would give is that the bunk room is on the main floor right by the front door and the two other bedrooms are upstairs. My kids are a bit older so it wasnt a huge deal for us, but may be a concern for families with younger kids. Overall great stay and I would recommend this property! Stayed Feb, 2021 Clean and Updated Ski Condo This ski condo had what we were looking for. Plenty of space, easy walk to Steamboat ski hill (no need for car rental or ski bus), clean and updated fixtures. Previous comments noted hard beds, this seems to have been fixed with quality foam tops - the mattresses below are firm but the foam tops alleviated any discomfort for us (and I really dislike firm beds). The photos showed a Keurig, but a generic coffee machine was there instead (we had brought pods based on the photo - so minor inconvenience there). The only two things I'd change about the place are: swap out the metal dining room chairs - which are cold to sit on in the winter (we had to place blankets over them or warm them up by the fire before sitting in them), and put up some wall art (some framed Steamboat ski posters would be fine, but something to warm the place up visually a little). The bunk room for kids was great, and the sunset views from the balcony were amazing!!The pool and hot tub was only open for a one hour block for each unit (due to Covid19), which had to be signed up for in advance. This was not relayed to us and by the time we checked in, all the time slots were full. We had 3 kids with us and the number one reason we booked this specific place was for the pool. Better communication about that would have made a difference!Also, it was 88 degrees all weekend in Steamboat and the place was HOT! It never cooled off at night, even with all the windows open and the floor fans going full blast. It was difficult to sleep, I don't know if ceiling fans would help but just be aware that in summer there is no cross breeze through the condo and it was stifling at times. Ray Stayed Jul, 2020 Review Location is fabulous and the room setup works really well. The patio, living area and kitchen are spacious. Bathrooms modern and clean. Really enjoyed the location and ease of parking, in and out, and the extra towels for tubing/hot springs! Nice bonus. Only one issue arose and SkyRun took care of it immediately. It had a GREAT view, was clean and tidy, the pool was very close, the rooms were nice and it looked just like the photos. Would definitely go back and stay there again. Quiet, with friendly neighbors in the complex. Nice, modern fixtures, TVs, appliances. Location handy to both town and the ski hill, though not really within convenient walking distance to either.It got a little warm in there on hot afternoons/evenings when daytime temps were above 80 F, otherwise very comfortable despite no AC. The bunk beds were downstairs, and the 2 upstairs bedrooms were close to the extra loft space which was nice to spread out out stuff a bit (we actually placed an air mattress there for a kid to sleep). There were only 2 parking spaces included but the place itself was nice and updated with everything we needed for our weekend. Communication was great! What we didn't like is the lack of cooking pots and pans, baking pans, very old blender, ice machine in refrigerator doesn't make ice very quickly/at all and the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable.
