This mountain townhome backs up to Burgess Creek and has easy access to world-class skiing and mountain biking trails. The Thunderhead chairlift is just a 15-minute walk up the hill. Skip the gondola line and go straight to the chairlift! Upon entering Winterwood 5, you will be immediately taken by the modern, mountain decor. Right in the entrance, there is a large storage area for all of your outdoor toys. You will be able to enjoy your evenings in the living room in front of the gas fireplace and flat-screen TV. You will love the large plush couch that can also pull out to sleep 2. Just outside of the living room, there is a patio where you can relax in the quiet mountain landscape and grill up some food on the gas-powered grill. There is also an outdoor dining table with seating for 4. The well-furnished kitchen is stocked up with everything you need to cook a delicious meal for the whole family including dishware, silverware, pots/pans and utensils. There is room for 6 at the dining room table, and 4 more can sit at the kitchen bar. Around the corner from the kitchen, you will find a half bathroom conveniently on the main level. For the money, up stairs mattress needs to be rotated or changed for new- but overall comfortable. Loud neighbors on either side- college aged parties going on. Beds were comfortable and showers were hot with old school water pressure - perfect after a day on the slopes. Not on the shuttle line so you definitely need a car - but free parking in Meadows lot with easy shuttle to the slopes made it easy. We would definitely stay here again. Taylor Chonis Stayed Feb, 2025 Solid Condo for a Ski Vacation! Stayed here for a long weekend ski trip. The location is superb being so close to the Thunderhead Express lift. Getting to town is also super easy. The condo was well equipped. We had an issue with the Keurig and one of the bed frames, but the property management was very responsive and helped us with a same-day fix. Check in and check-out processes were seemless.
