The beds were very comfortable and the all new amenities were great. The room had a washer and dryer, that is awesome. Nice view and a Nice place. The Sky Run team was very helpful and had clear instructions. Excellent!! Host's response: Thanks, Sasithorn for the great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property for your vacation and working with SkyRun. Hope to have you as a return guest! Zhou Stayed Jan, 2024 Review We spent a whole week here for our ski trip where we explored all the Epic resorts (Keystone, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, and Vail). The location is great, making it easy to travel to the aforementioned resorts in the same day. The place is well equipped for winter activities and cooking well - wish there's cooking oil but we got our own. The fireplace is awesome after getting back from resort each day. Fast speed Wi-Fi, big panel TV, Wash machine, and drier - all worked great for us. The hot tub is super awesome after a day of skiing. However, it's in different building and no direct access to shower as its in different floor. Might be a bit challenging in cold winter. Other than that, we had a great time with this place! The host is very responsive. They always get back to us in a few minutes. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who wants to stay for a ski trip. Host's response: Thanks, Zhou for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property for your vacation in Summit County. Hope to have you as a return guest! Andrew Stayed Dec, 2023 Review Our Gore Trail (Wilderness neighborhood in Silverthorne, CO) condo rental was an excellent accommodation for our familys Christmas week ski vacation. The layout is very smart for a family- two bedroom, two bath plus a sleeper sofa. The split-level design made it seem larger than it is. Family meals were made easy with the well stocked kitchen and large dining room table and benches.Water pressure and bathrooms were good and all appliances worked well. The push-button gas fireplace with blowing heater was helpful during cold nights and beautiful to enjoy. The compact washer & dryer worked great! The carport was a nice addition as we always had the same parking spot and saved time not having to brush off snow & ice each morning.Id recommend this condo for use in any season for families wanting to enjoy Summit County, CO. amy k. Stayed Mar, 2023 Great place This place was a perfect home for a week of skiing. Lots of room to spread out for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The only improvement I would suggest is a better mattress on sofa bed or provide a memory foam. Host's response: Thanks, Amy for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property for your vacation. Hope to have you as a return guest! Dawn Stayed Mar, 2023 Lovely condo in good location This is a very nice condo with a well equipped kitchen. There are a lot of windows for a condo with high vaulted ceilings in the great room. The covered parking is also very nice. The two downsides are the 2 flights of stairs getting to the condo, and the hot tub is not located in a good location. The club house is not that far from the condo, but the hot tub is located outside down a flight of grated stairs. You really have to take your clothes and towels with you because of the distance from the locker room. When it's snowing and the wind is blowing, your clothes get wet and cold. Plus you have to remember to take the code with you outside to the tub because you have to enter it to get back inside the club house. With limited lighting and standing outside soaking wet and freezing, this can be difficult to do! But the condo itself, I can highly recommend. Ari L. Stayed Feb, 2023 Very comfortable stay This property is in great shape and has all the amenities for a ski trip. Wifi was a bit slow at only 20mbit, but otherwise the apartment had everything we needed. Highly recommended for those who want to ski and not stress about logistics Host's response: Thanks, Ari for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property for your vacation in Summit. Hope to have you as a return guest! John T. Stayed Jan, 2023 A5 Gore Trail 2nd time staying at this property. No problems, will return next year Jason Stayed Dec, 2022 Great location for a ski getaway The unit was comfortable, bright, and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped beyond all expectations, and the appliances are newer than what appears in the photos. The reserved parking space is in a covered carport, so the need to brush snow off the car each morning was minimal. We didn't notice any noise from surrounding neighbors. Despite having a lot of snowfall during the week, the road and parking lot were well-maintained, as were the stairs and walkways. Our group definitely enjoyed our week there. However, if a panoramic mountain view is on your list of must-haves, this particular unit may not be the place for you. Unlike many of the Wildernest properties, this one is nestled into a hill, and two flights of stairs below the parking lot. You're tucked into a quiet wooded lot. If that's not a concern, you'll have an enjoyable stay here. Jason R. Stayed Nov, 2022 Good times hiking the mountain The trail head for lily pad and Buffalo cabin train are less then 1 minute away. We loved the location and the view Host's response: Thanks, Jason for the nice review. I'm glad you loved the views and the location of the unit. Hope to have you as a return guest! Daniel Stayed Sep, 2022 Review Lovely place with a nice back view of the mountains and the woods. The place is well decorated to give you a homey feel. Minute walk from two main hikes; Buffalo Mountain and Lily Pad Lake. Would double check with the host regarding the hot tub, we went there for it but at the time it was under repairs, not a total burst to our plans but would have been nice to know prior to booking. Neighborhood is pretty quaint and at the time of our stay, not that many people were staying in the area so it was quiet at night. Great if youre looking for that secluded trip up the mountains. Host's response: Thank you for the review Daniel! We apologize again that the hot tub wasn't working, that was not something we had been made aware of for the shared hot tub. Glad you enjoyed the fall and quietness of the mountains! Hope to see you another time!rrKristinrSkyRun Susan D. Stayed Jul, 2022 Hiking and fishing getaway Love the location being at the top of the road in the mountains! True mountain getaway yet easy access to Silverthorne/Frisco/Dillon. Lots of great day trips from there. The condo had nice open space in the main living area. Kitchen had nice new appliances. The main bedroom was spacious and the second bedroom was a bit tight with the two twin beds. Only small negatives were: 1) the screen on the second bedroom was missing so if you opened the window, lots of bugs came in (room was too stuffy to not open it); and 2) the carpet in the entire place could use a good cleaning. Host's response: Thanks, Susan for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation in Summit County, and the day trips from the property to other locations in Summit. Hope to have you as a return guest! John K. Stayed Jul, 2022 Excellent Value Clean and spacious; well supplied kitchen; the deck is small but adequate for two (maybe 4) with good, but not spectacular, views. The highlight for us was its proximity (1/10 of a mile) to two trailheads, each of which are pathways into a wide range of hiking trails. John Stayed Jul, 2022 Review Great location and we loved the view. Easy access to to hiking trails was an added bonus. The property was in good condition and clean. Kitchen had everything thing we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Host's response: Thanks, John for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the views from the property. Hope to have you as a return guest! Angela Stayed Apr, 2022 Review This property is in a fabulous location. You do have to go down two flight of stairs but it really is not much of a bother because the condo itself is great. They have everything in the condo you need for your stay. We will definitely be back. Host's response: Thanks, Angela for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation in Summit County. Hope to have you as a return guest! Chris C. Stayed Mar, 2022 Great Condo Clean, well kept condo with great access to I70 ski resorts and fun local towns. Host's response: Thanks, Chris for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property. Hope to have you as a return guest! Eric V. Stayed Mar, 2022 Great, quiet place for ski trip Condo unit is in great condition, stocked with all the essentials for cooking / cleaning / etc. Location is easy to find with the given directions, located in a quite area at the top of the Wildernest ridgeline. Easy access to any of the Summit County resorts, close to Dillon/Silverthorne/Frisco shops and restaurants, would definitely recommend! Host's response: Thanks, Eric for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property for its great location and proximity to the ski areas, towns and restaurants. Hope to have you as a return guest! Julie M. Stayed Mar, 2022 2/27 ski getaway This was a very nice property. All of the appliances were top of the line, which made cooking our own meals a breeze. We really enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the unit. Thanks for a great stay. Host's response: Thanks, Julie for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property for your vacation. Hope to have you as a return guest! Ian m. Stayed Mar, 2022 Perfect Visiting summit county with my two teenage sons for a week of snowboarding and our stay at Wildernest couldnt have been any better. Great central location to all of the ski areas we wanted to hit, convenient to getting into town for food and entertainment. Our place was clean and had all the amenities we needed to cook meals, entertain ourselves and do laundry to boot. Kreegan Stayed Feb, 2022 Review Beautiful location with an amazing view. The mountain in the back yard was fun to see from the deck. The appliances were great. Master bed room, for some reason, heats up at night so we cracked a window. Everything else went super well. You do have to go down 1.5 flights of metal stairs to get to the unit from the parking lot so be careful if you have trouble walking stairs. Host's response: Thanks, Kreegan for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property and the beautiful views. Hope to have you as a return guest! Chris Stayed Feb, 2022 Review A great space in a great location. Stayed Jan, 2022 Cozy condo in the trees This condo worked out perfectly for my family of 4. The condo was as advertised and I appreciated no surprises! The neighbors upstairs were a little nosy in the evenings (I think their kids were running up and down the stairs) but it was not a big deal. The couches were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again! Host's response: Thanks for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation in Summit County. Hope to have you as a return guest! Kaity B. Stayed Jan, 2022 Great place to stay! We enjoyed our stay at this condo! Hope to have you as a return guest! Gunter Stayed Dec, 2021 Review We are traveling to Silverthorne for several years staying in various locations. But this was by far the best we have had. Everything was so nice and absolutely clean. Check-in process was so well organized. Apartment had everything you need. We will definitely stay there again in the future. Highly recommend this place. Host's response: Thanks, Gunter for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the property and that it had everything you needed for a great vacaiton. Hope to have you as a return guest! Ian Stayed Jul, 2021 Review If you're in Summit County for hiking and time in the forests, this is a fantastic location. This unit is a 2 minute walk from trailheads that lead all around Buffalo Mountain. We stayed here for 3 weeks while working remotely, and each weekday morning we easily had time to get over to Lily Pad Lake, or do a short loop connecting to the Buffalo Cabin trail, all before checking in with our day jobs. At these early hours there's ample wildlife to be seen moose, foxes, bears, among others and it's pretty special to be able to beat all the drive-in hikers at this very popular trailhead simply by waking up early and walking out your door. This unit was somewhere between "fine" and "great" in all other respects. The internet speed was adequate for remote work, but not impressive. The back porch looks directly into a small stand of ponderosas and lodgepoles, with lots of chipmunks, humming birds, and occasionally the neighborhood fox sneaking by. The bedrooms are large-enough and comfortable, and the kitchen has all-new appliances that help make it functional and usable.Be advised that since you're so close to the trail, you're a little further from civilization. If you need to do a quick errand in Dillon or Silverthorne you're looking at 5-7 minutes of extra driving to yourself out of the Wildernest neighborhood. Such is the cost of being so close to the national forest. Also be advised, this is the downstairs unit of a 2-story complex. The upstairs unit was occupied 2 or 3 times during our 3 weeks, and for the most part it was fine. But one week, a family with young kids was upstairs, and during those days it sounded like a herd of elephants had taken up residence upstairs. That is to say, the floors of this complex transmit a lot of sound. So if you're intending to spend some daytime hours in the unit while you visit, and you find this sort of noise disruptive, you'll be rolling the dice just a little bit.Overall we had a lovely stay in July of 2021, and really got to soak up the mountains while we were there. Host's response: Thanks, Ian for the nice review. Glad you were able to see wildlife and go on hikes. Hope to have you as a return guest! Deborah U. Stayed Jul, 2021 Just as advertised Comfortable unit with fully stocked kitchen as advertised. Bed very comfy, and my back is very finicky. Beautiful forest view from balcony. Only negative was the igniter on grill did not work and we had to run to Lowes to buy a lighter. Host's response: Thanks, Deb for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the beautiful views and found the property to be comfortable. Hope to have you as a return guest! Kiri S. Stayed Jul, 2021 Good weekend get away over the 4th Enjoyed the quiet stay over the 4th. The location was nice at the top of Wildernest and easy access to trailheads. Amenities were good with newer appliances, etc. Host's response: Thanks, Kiri for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed the close proximity to trailheads. Hope to have you as a return guest! Tom B. Stayed Apr, 2021 Very nice condo Comfortable and well supplied condo, quiet, great views, nice kitchen and bathrooms. Host's response: Thanks, Tom for the nice review. Host's response: Thanks, Alsion for the nice review. Hope to have you as a return guest! Liz Stayed Dec, 2020 Review Great space with beautiful view of the woods and fireplace; very cozy! It's a scenic steep(ish) drive up the mountain to get there, but we had no problems, the roads were always clear. Erik Stayed Dec, 2020 Review An amazing place to get away! The views from the back porch will make you want to stay all year! Sean Stayed Oct, 2020 Review Great place to stay. Had a mother moose and 2 babies outside of our window! Andrea Lee Stayed Oct, 2020 Review Beautiful views, sunny and spacious place, with super great hosts! Greg Stayed Oct, 2020 Review This was a great place to stay. Up the hill and off the beaten path, it is near several beautiful trails and only 25 minutes from Breckenridge. The condo is clean, stylish and comfortable...a perfect place to relax between hikes and other adventures! Kashish Stayed Sep, 2020 Review Great place right next to hiking trails Constance L. Stayed Aug, 2020 Spacious, comfortable, well-furnished, up the mountain near 2 hiking trailheads I would like to have given 5 stars, but gave 4 due to washing machine (a must-have for me) not working during my 11-night stay and seems that management knew that before my arrival, but they did apologize and give partial refund. Otherwise, I loved everything about the unit. Note that all kitchen appliances and some furniture have been upgraded since photos taken so it is even nicer than shown here and all the pots, pans, and dishes of every size looked new. You will hear footsteps of renters above and we had a herd of elephants up there for 3-4 days, but at least their bedtime/waketimes were very close to ours so it was okay, actually a bit comical. The next guests upstairs were a lot quieter, so your results may vary. I am a light sleeper and I slept like a log. We heard zero road noise, airplanes, dogs, etc., so overall very peaceful and beautiful setting. Beds were comfortable, couches extremely so. We never ran out of hot water for showers. The view out the back wall-of-windows was absolutely beautiful. Don't miss the hike up to Lily Pad Lake from the trailhead just past the condo complex. Steve Stayed Jul, 2020 Review A very clean, very well stocked, comfortable, condo. There is plenty of room inside for cooking, meals, and sitting. Bedrooms are good, two baths are handy. The deck is smaller but the views are great, saw a lot of wildlife including deer and fawns, fox, lots of birds, and little chipmunks all from the deck. Grill works well. Do be prepared for some stairs to get to the unit. There are close by trails that make for nice hikes. If you are looking to get away (still only 10 minutes to town) and enjoy nature, peace & tranquility, with beautiful viewsthis condo will be ideal. We would rent this one again. Michael Stayed Jul, 2020 Review Great time! Host's response: Thanks, Michael for the nice review, hope to have you as a return guest! Nicole C. Stayed Jul, 2020 Wonderful! We had such a wonderful time staying in this lovely condo. It was so nice to have something cozy, clean, and inviting to come home to each day! We loved it! Host's response: We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time! We look forward to having you as returning guest of SkyRun Summit! Kelli F. Stayed Mar, 2020 Snow heaven What a nice escape - located at the top of the hill it seems, lovely view into wooded space so you really feel alone and private. Located on the lower floor so some stairs to navigate, but really appreciated that carport with all the snow we got that weekend. Master bedroom is spacious, so much space I am surprised they don't have a king sized bed in there. Master bathroom was sufficient in size and the showerhead was nice with good pressure. Beds are comfortable, slept great. Lots of closet and dresser space. Having laundry in the unit is always a plus so you go home with clean clothes! Living room fireplace was on a timer and really heated up the space in the mornings. Brown couches were comfortable. Long dining table allowed us to put a puzzle at one end and have room to eat at the other end (it's different than the picture, bench seats on both sides, two chairs at ends, plank style table). Used the grill, stove and oven without issues. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Thermostat was responsive, stayed pretty warm and the afternoon sun through all the windows gave it amazing light all day long. Close enough to walk to the snowshoe trails. There were snow shovels and some sleds in the closet which was perfect for when we visited. Nice entry space to drop wet gear without tracking it inside. Pretty quiet for a condo, could hear the people above walking occasionally but it wasn't loud enough to be distracting or annoying. Drawbacks: DVD player is just DVD not Blueray (picky but honet). Queen instead of King bed (but that's being picky I know). Lower level means the plows push all the snow down your stairs and crashing into your front door if it's a snowy season. Could use a couple throw blankets for the living room? I would absolutely recommend and stay again. Colette V. Stayed Mar, 2020 Better than Expected ! This was a very nicely accommodated condo.... comfortable, inviting and very clean. All of the appliances worked well. The kitchen has everything to cook full meals, including spices. The property management was awesome, very friendly, very accommodating. On Check In day, we could not find the condo, but someone stayed on the phone giving us directions until we found it. We extended our stay and property management made this easy and affordable for us. I will come back to this place for our next ski vacation. Host's response: We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time! We look forward to having you as returning guest of SkyRun Summit! Angel D. Stayed Mar, 2020 Great affordable place place was great and super affordable. only issue was snow removal both on the stairs and in the parking lot. one of us just had foot surgery and it was a bit scary for her navigating the steps and parking lot. we called about it and it took all day for them to respond. Natalie F. Stayed Feb, 2020 Perfect spot for access to ski hills LOVED our stay here! Perfect for a family or groups of friends. Close and easy access to multiple Colorado ski hills. The hot tub is a nice addition too. Would stay here again. Host's response: We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time! We look forward to having you as returning guest of SkyRun Summit! Natalie F. Stayed Feb, 2020 Loved our stay here! Sky Run is in an excellent location, an hours drive to 5 ski resorts. The place is large and furnished really nicely. We also had access to the shared hot tub which was perfect after a long day at the slopes. Would recommend. Jonathan Stayed Jan, 2020 Review Best air bnb ever!!! If you want a stress free lodging, this is the way to go. Michael Stayed Jan, 2020 Review This place was perfect, so much room, incredible view, very spacious, and well equipped. Having 2 bathrooms was so nice to have. Hot tub was OK, just a little walk from our place. Everyone was super nice.Only few notes would be that the kitchen sink was pretty small and the pressure for the water was pretty bad, but only in the kitchen sink, the 2 bathrooms were fine. This unit is located at the top of a winding road that is a little nerve racking to drive up and down in the winter time, just be careful!!Overall, we had an amazing time and couldn't have asked for more! Alex Stayed Jan, 2020 Review Great overall, BUT there is one tiny issue, and that could have been an oversight (not enough research) on my part. All of these places in the Silverthorne/Dillon area looked great, and the only reason I chose this one was because of the hot tub amenity. To my disappointment, the hot tub (clubhouse) is located a good distance away from the actual lodge, I would say maybe 200 - 250 ft, I was in building 5, and hot tub is right past building 6. And when it is 12 degrees outside, you dont want to make a sprint from your building all the way to the clubhouse, type the code in, and then go in, I really feel bad for people in buildings 1 through 4, as they are much further away. I guess sure, they could drive to the hot tub, but its not the same. I imagined being able to walk out on my patio and having a hot tub right there and then, but it is not the case.Hindsight, knowing the clubhouse/hot tub situation ahead of time, I might have made a different lodge choice. With all that being said, if a hot tub is not a necessity for you, it is an amazing lodge, amazing view, and very clean. Still, 5/5 overall. Tom Stayed Jan, 2020 Review Great place, exactly what we were looking for. The scenery from the back deck was fantastic. Amy Stayed Dec, 2019 Review We just stayed here over Christmas, it was located in a beautiful location with the trees right up to the back balcony, very cozy feeling with a great kitchen were we cooked all of our meals. Nice and close to Copper Mountain Sky resort and Breckenridge! Thank you!! Ghenadie Stayed Aug, 2019 Review Nice place for relax Vladimir Stayed Jul, 2019 Review Spent a week here and really enjoyed it. Amenities, location, everything was really good for me.Minor point: the address listed here at the time I used it does not take you to the apartment. If youre using (Hidden by Airbnb) maps you have to manually type Gore Trail, Silverthorne. I arrived at 10PM and in the dark figuring out where the apartment is was a real nuisance. Ally Stayed Jul, 2019 Review Fully stocked kitchen, amazing views, room for all five of us! It was a great stay and I wouldnt have wanted it any other way. Mary Stayed Mar, 2019 Review Beautiful views from our living room and the clubhouse hot tub! Barb Stayed Feb, 2019 Review Great place! Thanks for the hospitality!
