Our group was able to comfortably enjoy the entire space. There is a ton of cozy space and room for people to lounge and relax after a long day on the slopes. The kitchen is huge and incredibly well-stocked with all the dishware and cookware you need to make big group meals. The back deck is a nice amenity with the grill and hottub. Each room has a comfortable bed and all the towels/extra blankets you need. In terms of location it is hard to beat this spot - it's a 5-10 minute drive from NorthStar but you can also get to Palisades in about 25 minutes. There is plenty of parking in the driveway and two garage spaces. Loved this place and hope to stay here again! The kitchen was well stocked and had very nice high-end appliances. The home was very clean and comfortable. The communication between us and SkyRun was excellent. The hot tub on the deck and the BBQ were great and in good condition and the shuttle to Northstar is so quick and convenient. Picks up at the driveway. Well worth the price and would stay here again. Beautiful decor, high end appliances, fully equipped kitchen, and wonderful layout, with additional dining nook and a bedroom office, in addition to a giant sized Scrabble board in the TV room! Even the bench in the garage for putting on and taking off your ski boots as well as places to store your stuff out of the way of the main living spaces makes everything so easy.. Shuttle to Northstar ski lift that you can reach with an app is the icing on the cake! Anastacia A. The two things I liked most were a free shuttle to Northstar and plenty of space right at the back of the house for playing with kids in the snow. Ah, and jacuzzi it was hot and perfect! Also, everybody who cooked noted that the kitchen was well- stocked. And WiFi worked well. Omry Stayed Jan, 2021 Review Booked the cabin for the New Years weekend.Great communication and a lot of information and follow ups before we arrived, thats was really helpful.Loved the place, it was super clean, nice looking kitchen and a lot of appliances for cocking and cleaning.We also went to snowboarding at the Northstar tracks that was only 6 minutes drive from our place! The hot tab outside and the new BBQ were great.Cant wait to come back again to this place again. ann b. Stayed Sep, 2020 Excellent Weekend Stay! This home was amazing! Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, beautiful view of golf course from deck and hot tub. The kids were thrilled with the game room and size of the humongous TV! The adults were thrilled with the lovely living room with fireplace and vaulted ceilings. There were 12 of us (adults and teens) and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. I highly recommend this property! One of the more modem houses I have stayed at the village. The house is on the golf course which gives a lot of space for kids to play in the snow while the adults can talk and watch them from the living room.Very convenient to the resort using the shuttle service. As is common in some of the houses Ive booked online, the blankets could be improved. I would invest in simple white douvets with covers that could be washed with every guest. The towels were very nice.Ive stayed in several houses on the village and this one is one of my favorites. I would stay there again. Amy H. Free shuttle, only minutes to Northstar. Honestly I cant think how this property could be better - will definitely stay here again! We were notified before, during and after with important information during our stay. We did not have any problems with the home (i.e. utilities, etc.) and would expect that if we did, SkyRun would have responded timely. Our experience was positive with the home rental and it was consistent/accurate with what was advertised on Airbnb, Inc. Jeannine Stayed Jul, 2019 Review We were able to combine two families into this one house for a wonderful week-long summer vacation in Tahoe. The house is awesome. Very spacious for what we needed, along with all the amenities. The kitchen was very well-stocked for our cooking needs- in fact, we ended up eating in most nights. We were pleasantly surprised by the little touches even- hand soap at every sink, for example. The furniture and layout of the house is really nice. We have stayed in some Airbnb's where the couches looked way more comfortable in the pictures than they actually were. Not so here. All the furniture was comfy, all the bathrooms (and kitchen) are current in terms of style and functionality. We enjoyed the jacuzzi on the deck every day, and what a wonderful view of the trees and the golf course. We made use of every bed available but still felt like there was space to retreat as needed. We LOVED the shuttle access into the North Star village and to the rec center/pool. Price-wise it is more than we like to spend on lodging, but in the end all paying parties agreed it was worth it. The kids room and the bedroom with the sunroom were hard to heat. Maybe the beds blocked the air vents. The hot tub was wonderful and having the shuttle pick us up was so convenient. The heated floors were lovely. It would be nice to have some paper goods like paper plates,napkins and coffee filters. A few condiments would be helpful too. The game room was awesome allowing kids (or adults) to hang out without disturbing others. One tip about the hot tub. It takes a awhile to heat up, so plan ahead if you're going to use it. We set it to the desired temperature in the morning, went skiing and it was ready when we returned. The shuttle pickup couldn't have been more convenient. Just call and wait in the driveway.
