Each family had a bathroom and a bedroom, plus the bunk room for kids and the pull out couch made sure everyone had a place to sleep and private place to retreat to if needed. The kitchen was big and easy for 4 adults to work in together. The upstairs and downstairs common spaces made it easy for people to gather and have different activities or conversations. The house is in excellent condition and clean. The views are amazing. We would stay here again! We went during a historic snow storm. We noticed this location gets the most snow in the Truckee area and the least frequent snow plowing because the street is at the end-of-the-line. We shoveled 10 inches of snow 4 times over 2 days just to get in/out of the driveway. The novelty wore off quickly but we still had a great time and I would definitely rent the place again. We hardly felt like we needed to leave the house since the views were amazing. The kitchen was a great size for us since we had several families staying together. We enjoyed playing in the snow outside the house and even met a friendly neighbor's dog. The downstairs family room and bedrooms were perfect for kids as they were able to play downstairs while adults could hang out upstairs. The master bedroom is huge! I definitely recommend this house. We also enjoyed the games and movies provided! The TVs are not the most up to date but the views outside the windows are much better anyway! Stayed Jan, 2020 Nice house but need little upgrades The house is clean, spacious and light with nice views. We loved the neighborhood. It wouldve been nicer if there were more modern big TVs and more loungy living room with a bigger couch that fit more people comfortably. Also all the beds were a bit too small. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but pot and pens couldve been in a better shape (like a new set from Costco). The refrigerator door needs to be adjusted as it wouldnt easily.Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed the house. Jim W. Stayed Jan, 2020 Beautiful home in an amazing location! Appreciated that we were able to check in earlier than 4 due to no one being there prior to our arrival. Wish at least one bedroom would have had a king size bed. My mistake for not checking bed sizes before booking. No refunds after booking. Bedrooms could use hanging fans. Noise from downstairs/upstairs carries. A few spiderwebs. Construction noise from a new house being built could be heard. Refrigerator didn't keep items as cold as they should have been. Went to take grandkids to pool and it wasn't open due to pump issues. Overall we all had a good time being together in a beautiful place with beautiful views. 6 adults 5 grandchildren (13, 13, 10, 9 and 4). Annna K. Summer Stayed Sep, 2018 Lovely Home We had a wonderful stay. The home was quite spacious, and easily accommodated 6 adults and two small children. The living/kitchen area was perfect for hanging out, but we were all able to retreat to our own separate areas for some privacy. The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked large meals on two occasions, and everything we could possibly need was stocked. Our favorite part of the home was the breathtaking view. The windows were large and it was wonderful to sit together and look out over the scenery. Our kids were delighted to watch deer early in the morning from the large patio. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It's very quiet and peaceful and perfect for pinecone hunting. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries about the area, and also helpful when we realized we had left something behind. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this property and stay here again. It truly felt like a home, and it was a perfect fit for our vacation. Dan J.
