Adjacent to the living room is the gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, state of the art appliances, and dining table that seats 8, there are also two stools at the kitchen bar. Just off the dining area you can step out onto the large deck and admire a panoramic view of the mountainscapes. The deck is also equipped with a table, chairs and gas grill. Full length mirrors in the rooms were a plus. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working when we arrived, and was also kind of dirty. When we reached out to let them know it wasnt working we didnt get any response until the following day and all they said was sorry. The hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked the place so it was very disappointing that they did nothing to help or at the least give some kind of refund/credit. Host's response: 1 Chelli Stayed Jul, 2020 Review The backyard of this home is truly amazing, with the creek within a few steps from the deck, and the lush, green landscaping and mountain views were incredible. The kitchen was fully stocked with any kind of cooking utensil, dishes, or basic spices and coffee you could want. They did seem put in extra effort to make it clean, especially during COVID time. We loved the hot tub on the back deck and the public pool right across from the home. What we were disappointed in was that the house was really in need of some updating and repair. It appears that the owners are likely in process of upgrading things, as the bathrooms and kitchen counters have been upgraded. However, we ran into many things such as electrical outlets not working, lightswitches with no switch cover on them, and the carpet was just old and in need of a good cleaning, if not replacement. The boards around the hot tub and deck were loose and we had to walk carefully as one of us had our entire leg fall through a board to the ground below and got scratched up pretty badly. This house feels very "homey". It is nice for the extra amenities and as mentioned, the location and views are to die for! But it could be improved with some basic repairs. Plenty of room for our group of 8. Perk is having a private hot tub but we couldnt get the water to warm up. Not sure if it was us or the tub! Few of the lights were burnt out and we had a bit of trouble getting in but sky run was available and responsive. Great for making dinners at home wish there was a bit more seating room!
