The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable and well made. The kitchen was well stocked including good coffee with filters for each day. The bedrooms and beds were extremely comfortable. The home was extremely clean and there were plenty of cleaning products, toiletries and laundry detergent for our entire stay. The condo was extremely quiet. Inside we couldnt hear any road noise or neighbors. The porch was great for morning coffee and evening glasses of wine. Despite the Highway, we enjoyed the view of the mountains and gondola just beyond.The location was awesome!! It was a short and easy walk to playgrounds, restaurants, the gondola and grocery store at Lionshead village. We also took the free shuttle to Vail Village to visit Ford Park, Pirate Ship Park and lots of fabulous restaurants. It was a quick and easy drive to the Vail Stables and so easy to jump on I-70 for day trips. Our young children had a great time and so did we!! We will be back!! Loved how it was updated and the kitchen is beautiful and well stocked! At first we were worried about it being across the freeway from Lionshead. It turns out it was an easy walk and we enjoyed having the mountain view. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to Vail Vullage or you can take the shuttle which is also easy to do! Stayed Feb, 2020 Modern condo; walk to lifts We were very happy with this condo - clean, modern decor and very comfortable. Everything is just as pictured. The Eagle Bahn lift is about a 7-10 minute walk over the footbridge. We did little cooking (breakfast only) but the kitchen is well equipped. The only suggestions I'd have are: 1.) Better clothing storage in the main bedroom - there is an armoire which is attractive but not very functional. Two of us stayed in that bedroom and ended up keeping some clothes in our suitcases. 2) Hooks in the entryway. This would have been very helpful in hanging jackets, etc. Vail Village is about a 20 minute walk - good to know if you plan on eating there or otherwise spending time there. There is a free shuttle bus to Vail that runs every 30 minutes.Overall this is a great place and would stay here again. I arrived at night and there was construction on the walking path, so I was unsure of where to go she called me immediately and directed me until I found the place (note: its easy to find! It was only because of the dark and construction and the fact that I was walking that made it a little confusing). I would highly recommend this place! We loved enjoying the patio with the Adirondack chairs and flowers each morning and the view of the fireworks on the Fourth were an incredible bonus we did not expect! The condo itself was so well-equipped, we ended up cooking and staying in at least two or three times. The space was obviously recently redone and is filled with high quality materials and fixtures throughout. When we had a question on anything, they were incredibly responsive. Stayed Jan, 2019 Great updated unit with perfect location across from lions head this 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was perfect for our family of four. the unit has been updated and has really nice fixtures and finishes. the shower in the master bath was really great. we had some issues with a valve in the guest bathroom that didn't allow the water to get hot enough but i'm sure it would have been a great place to take a bath. kitchen was well equipped and the tv was nice and big with comfortable seating on a nice, comfy sofa which also as another bed. the unit was at the end of the sun vail complex and steps away from the pedestrian bridge to lionshead. we would definitely rent this unit again !! There is gas fireplace, heated floors and well equipped kitchen for eating meals in, including a gas grill. We met lots of great people at the heated pool and hot tub after ski days. Location is phenomenal if your are not hauling lots of equipment in ski boots. Just a quick walk across the bridge (over hwy) and you are in the Vail Village (Bahn Gondola). If you are bringing ski equipment, I would recommend wearing regular snow boots/ street shoes and changing on the other side, there are lockers available. The host was very responsive, we arrived early and they were more than happy to help us get into the place a little early after making sure the place was in acceptable/ clean condition.
