We had a wonderful stay at the Skyrun Condo 33C! The view of the mountain was spectacular. We overlooked the pool and were close to the parking lot. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy, showers were great, and the sectional was nice for relaxing. It’s a short walk to the Lionshead Bridge and drive to Vail Village. We loved having a drink and playing games on the balcony. It was extremely close to the pedestrian crossing making it easy to hop over the village. The area was never crowded so much that it felt we had the place to ourselves (however, w ek is this was not true because of the vehicles there). The pool and hot tub were at the bottom of our stairs and we could see as much or as little as we wanted. Our view of the mountains was great! Nothing quite like a perfect night sky. The place itself was perfect for our family. Everyone had a bed and our main quarters felt like its own hotel room. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. All we had to do was provide the bacon :)Overall, we would definitely stay there again. If the teenagers didnt complain, then it was a hit!***Only item to note: This is on the 3rd floor so be prepared for the stairs from the parking lot and then the condo. We eat in a lot, and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and supplies as well as some spices, etc. left from previous guests. The parking lot is next to the pedestrian overpass into Lionshead, which was super convenient as we simply walked into Vail for the GoPro Games each morning. The management company was super responsive to questions via email as well. Checkout was also super easy and hassle free. Be aware that there are many steps outside as well as in the building to get up to this unit - it can be a bit of a workout. Would totally stay here again! Host's response: 1 Todd Stayed Apr, 2024 Fabulous condo This condo offers a convenient location just a short 9-minute walk to the ski rental shop by the gondola, allowing for a nice warm-up before hitting the slopes. It's in excellent condition, fully stocked, and comfortable, with easy access to the nearby market & restaurants. The layout is ideal for families, with a spacious master bedroom & a second room for kids or friends. The laundry washer/dryer in the condo is new, and the balcony with a grill adds to the charm. The hot tub by the pool is well-maintained & nice, making for a relaxing post-ski soak. The staff was very responsive & available for any question that came up. Overall, it's a top choice for accommodations, and I’d definitely return. Host's response: 1 Sakhone Stayed Mar, 2024 Review The airbnb condo was perfect for the location to the lionshead Gondola for my 3 day ski trip at the Vail Ski resort. The location was within walking distance to the sandstone school bus stop which made trips to and from vail village back to the condo very easy. The bus schedule was very accommodating as well with plenty of routes during numeros times of the day. This was overall an excellent experience and will definitely chose the same condo again when I decide to come back to vail on a ski trip. There were a couple minor maintenance issues but not too bad. The hot water in one bathroom sink was off and when we investigated we discovered that it was because it leaked if turned on and the hand towel holder in the other bathroom wouldnt stay on the wall. The grill and ample firewood for the fireplace were very much appreciated and for the most part communication was excellent aside from not being able to access check out instructions until the day of check out. The location is great but it is an ordeal to load and unload due to the 5 minute hike up hills and stairs at altitude to get to the condo. If you have any issues with mobility or altitude this is not the place for you. We had a great stay at 33C. it is a great location near the pedestrian walk walkway over the interstate - we left our equipment at Vail Ski Tech (rented ski locker). Sky Run was amazingly responsive - and even got us a crock pot from the owner for those cozy ski meals. Highly recommend- kitchen is super well stocked and beds were very comfortable. The view off the balcony offers a panoramic of the Vail ski slopes with the heated pool and double hot tubs below beckoning you to dip in and ease your tired muscles. The owners have beach towels stocked for use, which was a great touch! The walk to the village is minimal, as well as the ski rental shop that keeps your ski boots in a warmer each night. The dining in the village is exceptional, and if you want to have a more casual night, Local Joe’s down the street is perfect for that! We took a couple nights to just grill steaks on the balcony and play poker around the kitchen table. Skiing was incredible, and the overall location of the condo couldn’t have been better. From the third floor, the view of the mountain is beautiful. The condo was well outfitted and extremely comfortable. Beds and linens were good, kitchen was fully stocked and the condo was very clean, clearly well taken care of. Having laundry right in the condo was also a huge bonus as a family of 4. We were able to pack light. We enjoyed the pool, hot tubs and sauna. The condos are about an 8 minute walk over the covered footbridge to Lionshead Village. We stored our skis and boots each night at Vail Ski Tech which was truly a game changer, it's too far to lug your ski equipment back and forth. They were fantastic there. The Sandstone bus picks up right next to the condos at the base of the footbridge (in front of Sandstone School) and is easy to ride to the main village. You can also just walk into Lionshead and take the "in town" bus as well to get back and forth between villages. It is within an easy walk to Lionshead and the Vail Lionshead Gondola if you are skiing. The Condo is well-appointed with everything you need to cook except the food. There is a fireplace with firewood and a Webber grill. The view from the deck can not be beaten; it is south-facing, so if it is not too cold and windy, it is lovely to have coffee out there in the morning. You can watch them groom snow at night from the deck as well. This is a quiet property with no loud parties. This condo is perfect for a family with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. If you have members of your party who don't ski, there is plenty to do in Lionshead and on the property, including the hot tub, heated pool, and sauna. I can not say enough how responsive and friendly the host is for this property. We are planning a trip back as a family next year.
