The unit has been recently updated and is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the screen porch which looks out over a pond with fountains - great spot to read, have coffee or cocktails. Nice pool and tennis/pickleball courts. The location is GREAT! Just across the street from the beach with direct access, walking distance to several restaurants and the free trolley stop is right at the entrance to Runaway Bay. They had everything you needed for the beach and also had a pack and play we used for our little one. We loved the location. Its pretty central and a very easy, short drive to Anna Maria. The beach access was directly across the street, which was perfect. I was originally concerned about how the walk would be to the beach with our 2 year old, but it was so quick and if youve never been here before, traffic stops immediately and is slow throughout the area. It is walking distance from some restaurants and shops as well. We only had a couple minor issues like not having a parking pass and the code to the pool was incorrect in the guest book. Although we never received the pass, the owner was communicating with us and we never got questioned. The friendly guests at the pool told us the code to get in, so it all worked out. The bathroom is very small, but if it's only two people staying there then it's fine. Beach chairs and cart and other accessories were available to us and proximity to the beach is excellent. But then no repairs on dishwasher. He later left a message apologizing and saying he thought it had been taken care of. He offered a discount on a future stay. Still a nice place to stay and a great location! We love Anna Maria Island and area and will come back the area!
