Hydration is important to minimize impacts of altitude change. There is typically 10-20% humidity year-round. Summer temperatures may average 60-80 degrees with a low in the 40-50s. Properties in Breckenridge DO NOT have Air Conditioning (AC) fans are provided for guest comfort. Winter temperatures may vary widely from negative temperatures to 40-50 degrees. Plowing of driveways will occur when a storm produces more than 4-6" in 24hrs. We cannot guarantee when roads or driveways will be plowed as that is determined by many factors including severity of the storm. You must have a vehicle capable of operating in severe winter conditions as plowing is not guaranteed. Guests should not attempt to shovel driveways themselves for their own safety. During the summer months, there always seems to be some sort of fun market set up in the plaza (we saw an art market and farmers market the weekend we were here) so keep an eye out for those. You can walk to multiple restaurants/shops, and the condo was beautiful. We did get confused about the parking pass situation when we first arrived, but the host was quick to help via text message. We have traveled to Breck for thanksgiving for the last 4 years and this was our best stay yet! The amenities were close, just a short walk, indoor & outdoor pool plus gym and lunge area! You did not have to walk up and down stairs to get to the slopes. Easy to be the first person on the lift! 5 min walk to the grocery store! A short walk and your on Main Street! The location of this condo is absolutely fantastic. Fast and easy walk to the Quick Silver Lift, to Blue River Sports, and any spot downtown! The kitchen is very well outfitted for any of your practical needs. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Humidifiers are available in the closets, which is a huge help at that elevation. The hot tub is a short, indoor walk away with sauna and steam room as well! Many thoughtful touches throughout the condo to make you comfortable. Would recommend that guests bring a Roku stick, so they can use any streaming services they normally have at home. Stayed Jan, 2019 Wetterhorn 3205 Wetterhorn 3205 is a great ski in /out condo. It is clean,comfortable and well appointed. It is also walking distance to town which makes a car unnecessary. Skyrun properties reached out to us several times during the stay to check in with us unfortunately they were unable to accommodate any of the requests we made. They were unable to provide additional keys, pillow cases or towels. This was disappointing. These seem like reasonable requests for a luxury accomadation Alma V. Has everything you could need for your stay in any season. Pool and hot tubs close by. Easy parking. Walking distance to many easy hikes, slightly farther walk to gondola (but still within 10 minutes), walk to all downtown shops and restaurants. Really the only reason I knocked off a star in this review is because while the condo was clearly cleaned, some shelves and other out of the way areas were really dusty, and the blankets definitely felt like they needed a good washing. I think the carpets, rugs and blankets all have been slightly maxed out. It didn't feel dirty, really, just a little musty. Didn't get in the way of us enjoying our stay; other than that, it really felt perfect. We would stay again. Patrick G. Stayed Jul, 2018 Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay Such an fun place to stay! Convenient to everything. We walked to almoust everywhere, which was nice. Condo was well equipped with most things needed and was very clean. A couple of things we had issues with: 1) The TV requires you to use three remotes to even get it to turn on. Was super confusing. 2). We only got one parking spot to use and had to pay $45 for our kids to park at the ice rink during their stay. Not a huge deal but an expense nonetheless. As a suggestion, it would have been nice to have some dish soap and dish rags to use. The bed pillows sufficed, but seem rather old and very lumpy. SkyRun Vacations was AWESOME to work with!! Megan and Justin were super friendly and very helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. Close to Main St and The Maggie The set-up of the property was really great - nice entry way w/benches to remove boots and area for board/ski storage. Bedrooms were on opposite ends with lots of quiet privacy for the secondary bedroom - great for the kids. While it was great to have a second bed in this room, a twin or twin XL would be better than a day bed with rails on 3 sides. The mattress on this bed was not the best either. The unit was clean but the comforters on the beds need a good washing (we didn't even want to use them) and there weren't enough blankets in the closets. The location is really great - close to walking down Main St for dining and shopping and an easy walk to The Maggie and the lift. Host's response: Thank you for your kind words and review! Stayed Feb, 2018 Fantastic unit, perfect location The unit was absolutely wonderful! Like new, perfect space. Family room was cozy as we enjoyed watching the Olympics after skiing all day. It is close to everything -- steps to ski school -- steps to Main Street shopping and restaurants. The unit is perfectly appointed with all you will need to enjoy your stay. It has Comcast/Xfinity with voice commands, which is a real nice touch when you don't know all the channel numbers. It even has portable humidifiers for those that are sensitive to the dry climate. Stayed Nov, 2017 Great location and lots of extras Great location, you can see some of the ski slopes and there is a nice plaza right outside with multiple fire pits to gather around. The closest ski lift is just steps away. Also, Main street is steps away with all its shops and restaurants. Inside the condo, there were a lot of extras. There is a great mud room inside the front door for boots and coats. They provided coffee, and we even got a bottle of wine for a Happy Thanksgiving. We found games and puzzles in the living room cabinet which we utilized. The TV was a challenge to turn on, but once we figured it out, the viewing includes some HBO channels.
