Martha Stayed May, 2024 Review My fiance and I really enjoyed our stay here and did not want to leave. The view is incredible and the cabin feels cozy. It was the perfect size for two people. It is close enough to everything in Estes Park and we are absolutely going to try to stay here again. There are a couple of things I'm going to mention just so folks are aware and maybe it could be listed for improvement, however these did not stop us from having a 5 star experience. First thing we noticed is the upstairs is completely blocked off and it kind of creeped us out at first but we got used to it. The amenities are a little bit outdated but working fine. The heater is a gas heater and we did not know how to use it so the living room got a bit cold. I didn't call SkyRun about this so they probably would've been able to tell us. Last, there are wood logs right in front of the fireplace with a lighter. I called SkyRun and they said not to use those and they offered to bring us duraflame logs. All in all wonderful stay!! Host's response: Thank you for giving us a 5 star review and thank you so much for the tips - The upstairs is just the owners closet, nothing freaky there. Yes we are working on updating the website about the duraflame logs and taking the wood logs out so there is no confusion. We do have instructions on how to turn the heater on. Thank you Noah Stayed May, 2024 Review We had a great stay here- beautiful views, comfortable space, awesome outdoor patio area.The space is less private than the photos indicate, the heater was difficult to operate , and wasnt made aware of the rule that we couldnt have a fire outside. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay and would recommend! Host's response: Glad you had a great stay and enjoyed the beautiful views. The photos show the view out the front window. There are neighbors but they are not all right on top of you. As a general rule for anyone reading this review, unless there is an outside firepit, fires are definitely not allowed. If there is an outside firepit, ask the host if it is ok to use it. Fire restriction laws can vary from year to year and season to season.
