It took a few loops to find our unit, but we managed after a stressful 20 minutes of trying to figure out the numbering system. A bit of warning that the door can lock automatically would have been nice: we got locked out in our swimsuits on a freezing evening because we went out to use the hot tub and left our phones with the entry code inside. We had to bother the neighbors so we could contact SkyRun to get the code. Also, we weren't informed that the parking lot was being paved until the night before it was scheduled and we had to park a very steep incline away, which was not easy for my mother to navigate. Yes the door locks like every 2 hours - its a safety measure. We would also like to have more signage but the HOA won't let us. The space is fine for a couple but would be a bit cramped for a family. Basically a bedroom and small living area connected to a kitchenette. Nice gas fireplaces in the living area and bedroom. We utilized the hot tub but keep in mind the deck is shared with 2 other hot tubs (as in they are all in view). Google maps will lead you to the general area, but the road is not listed yet on Google maps. Use the supplied map and know that you park at the steps leading up to the deck. The place is super clean and extra towels and kitchen utensils are there.There was a weird smell in the apartment, place has no oven/ laundry although its mentioned in instructions about laundry. The listing states no oven or washer/dryer, laundromat is down the road next to the Country Store. WiFi was slow due to the snowstorm the day you arrived, it is up and running now. Marlene Stayed Jul, 2023 Nice Condo Close to Rocky Mountain National Park This was a very nice condo. The property management is very quick to respond to any concerns. When we arrived our refrigerator did not seem to be cooling and they came quickly with a replacement. We liked having 2 bathrooms for the 2 of us in the condo. The kitchen facilities were nice and well equipped. The view from the deck was amazing of the mountains. It was nice to have our own hot tub on the deck facing the mountains. The hot tub was clean. The condo was smaller than is depicted on the pictures but for 2 people it was fine. It would be very crowded for 4 people. The king bed was super comfortable. The only negative thing I can say is that the property pool and hot tub needed cleaning. This condo is very close to Rocky Mountain National park. We loved sitting out on our porch in the evening and taking advantage of the hot tub. The hot tub was a main feature in booking the condo. Yes, there are other hot tubs on the same deck as you, but using it at night, I didn't think anything of it. Porch lights only turn on if someone enters / leaves, and the streets are really dim. We didn't spend our days in the condo, but it was stoked and well done. The bed is SO comfy.The condo is like 15 minutes from the entrance to the park and super close to downtown Estes. Communication was THE best. Proactive. Very detailed, simple to access, and find with the condo map that is sent. I love they sent the codes via text, so it was simple for us to reference.I would definitely rent again. I just wish it was easier to find the place In the dark because sometimes travelers arrive at night and it would be neat to see numbers on the stairs. Parking was limited. The snow banks made the parking limited and some residents parked sideways that was difficult to find a place to park. Loved the hot tub just wish it was a little bit more private than what it was. The kitchen basics would be nice to like some cooking oil and things like that I had to run to the store a couple times. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Not a whole lot to do in the off season that I was aware of anyways. Host's response: The HOA does not allow lights or signs. Getting to RMNP was so easy, only about a ten minute drive. Also just a very short drive to downtown Estes. The space was clean and the two bathrooms was a great plus. The stove was functional and allowed us to make breakfasts each morning. They provided some coffee and something good to know is there is a toaster! We want to come back and stay here. Stayed Jul, 2022 Amazingly Relaxing My husband and I wanted to get away for our wedding anniversary and our only parameter was "a property having a hot tub." Well this place delivered and then some!!! We were able to spend most of our time looking out off the deck, from inside the hot tub, staring at the mountains and incoming weather. It was only a short drive from town, but far enough out that we felt more in nature. It was also a very short drive down the hill to a beautiful lake with picnic tables and tons of climbing to explore. We will absolutely be going back!!! Upon booking the SkyRun sent us an e-mail explaining how to find the condo which was helpful since we arrived after dark. The view from the hot tub is pretty, and aids in the relaxation. As others have noted, the refrigerator is a mini fridge, but we knew this going in. Also the jet controls on the hot tub were not explained nor intuitive, but we still enjoyed using it. I would recommend this property to others who want to stay in Estes. We hope to host you again! Brian Stayed Jun, 2021 Review We enjoyed our stay in Estes park, the view from the deck is beautiful. It was difficult to find, due to a lack of street signs. Parking is also scarce, which may be due to the neighboring construction. There was a musty smell when we arrived. We were travelling with two teenagers and made it work, but the couch bed was uncomfortable. The mattress is very thin. If you want to leave the couch bed out during your stay, just understand that it takes up your entire living space. You can walk around it, but cannot enjoy the space with it out. The fridge is smaller than my dorm fridge was, if you plan to shop and prepare meals, you will be frustrated with the lack of space. There is no oven, but there is a cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher. There are two full bathrooms, but both are very small. The door in the master bathroom actually hits the toilet, maybe the door could be made to swing out and that could be avoided. We booked late, due to family schedules, so had to take what we could get . We felt it was pricey for the space and ammenities. Too pricey for us to stay here in the future. The location was perfect- about 5 minutes from RMNP entrance, 5 minutes from the Country Market, & 10 minutes from downtown river walk & shopping. Stayed Aug, 2019 Good enough, a couple of "buts" New modern place, two fireplaces and personal deck hot tub is a nice touch, really what attracted us. I say personal hot tub because there's not much privacy but it is just for use for that unit. To clarify what's in the picture and the fine print, no oven and just a rv-style fridge/freezer - but we knew that and it was fine.Now the buts:a significant chunk of the view for our particular unit was obscured by a maintenance garage. Other units won't have this problem and the view is great from this complex;Our hot tub cover arm that assists removing the hot tub cover was broken (looked like someone didn't strap down the cover during a wind gust because a come-along strap with carabiner was added) - not a huge deal but it meant we had to wrestle with the cover a little.Oh yea, the kitchen was missing scissors, someone probably stole them. Fortunately my wife always has scissors. Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked pot/pans/utensils. Host's response: Thank you, Robert. We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay and hope that you'll be back soon! Celebrating 25th Wedding Anniversary We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, hiking, and sight seeing. We drove 19.5 hours to get here! We did multiple hikes:Wild Basin, Ozual Falls, Lily Lake, Gem Lake, Alberta Falls, Fern Lake, Cub Lake, Sprague Lake and Bierstadt Lake Trail. We did a total of 37 miles of hiking! We went to Trailhead Restaurant, Egg and I, Antonio's Pizza, Smoking Daves BBQ, Claire's Restaurant, Munchin House (ice cream), Grubsteak House, Donut Haus (donuts), U Need Pie (great dessert!). Every evening after dinner we drove back over to Fall River Road, Horseshoe and Moraine Park to view the wildlife. We also took a tour at the Stanley Hotel. It was really convenient to go to and from there, and the apartments amenities and design made us feel at home. The kitchen was well-stocked so we could do some cooking, and the light-switch fireplaces came in handy at night. The views were great too. Couldnt recommend it more. We came to hike and its very close to great trails. We used the kitchen a ton to cook. We did bring our own cast iron pain but the stove top worked great. Andrew Stayed May, 2019 Review Check in process for our condo was easy. We had a couple questions upon arrival and called them with no hassles. They added an extra touch and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon so that was very thoughtful. The location is just south of Estes and we havent stayed this direction on previous trips but it was nice to be away from the town. Only cons were that there was no oven (not a huge deal personally) and that from this particular unit, it is on the corner but you get a view of garages that block a large majority of the mountains and you can barely even see a lake in the far distance. The units are all very close together so if you dont mind that its not so bad. Luckily our neighbors were pretty considerate. Overall it was a great trip for us. Instructions to check in weren't very clear and very scattered. Very clearly a rental company. Didn't feel personal Location - Comfort - View! Enjoyed the private hot tub with a nice view overlooking Mary’s lake. Only complaint is there is no oven in this unit. Other than that, great place to stay! Travis S. Stayed Nov, 2018 Very good Nice and clean, great views and location. The only issue was the hot tub was not creating a hot tub feel. The jets were very weak and when maint. looked at it they said that's as good as it does. Owning our own hot tub I can tell you it's not working properly, we used it for all of 10 minutes and it was one of the reasons we were drawn to the unit.
