Because it is managed by a large company it is not as well stocked as most air bnbs we have stayed at. They give you two laundry pods, one roll of paper towels etc. dont expect to find ziplock bags or tin foilyou would need to bring those things. The hot tub was awesome! The people renting the upstairs unit were a bit inconsiderate letting their kids run/stomp atam. Next time I would try to rent a top floor unit. I found this unit to be clean but dated. It was very dark inside even with every light on. The living room furniture was comfy. The king mattress was leaning a bit. Parking was right outside the door. Checkin and check out was easy. This is coming from someone who is crazy about cleanliness. We had a little challenge getting in when we arrived but the person answered right away to help us get in. The only thing is the king bed. It drops quite a bit when you lay in it. It would be nice if there was more care to the grounds. The pool and hot tub were not kept up very well. That's the best thing about Estes Park nothing is very far from Estes Park Danni Stayed Dec, 2023 Review For our first time booking an AirBNB as a family, this place exceeded our expectations! Everything, from the sheets to the utensils, were very clean. The kitchen was also fully stocked, which was very helpful as we spent a lot of time cooking.A couple things to note:We did not have wifi for the first two days and it took a while for the host to get back to us with an alternative network, but we eventually managed to get connected. Aside from this, the sinks water temperate was very inconsistent. Our stay was during the winter, so hot water was essential. However, the water was almost always ice-cold and took a while to heat up or just not at all. Nonetheless, this place was great; it was spacious, clean, and even had a variety of games to play! Mark Stayed Jul, 2023 Awesome Place!!! 5 members of my family spent a week in Estes to attend an event and also to do some hiking and exploring. This place was amazing. The size was big enough for 5 adult size people to never feel cramped. The kitchen was well stocked to accommodate any cooking we would do. We enjoyed sitting around the table playing games at night and then sitting in the comfy living room to watch a little TV. All beds were very comfortable and the hot tub on the deck was an added bonus after a day on the trails. The location is perfect as it is away from the busy Main Street of Estes and yet a very short drive to grocery store and restaurants. Being a beach vacation rental owner ourselves my wife and I joked that the owners here are our kindred spirits as they have thought of everything for a great stay! Bed was comfortable, shower was good pressure. I am getting tired of the exorbitant cleaning fees esp. for how small the space is. On top of that there were instructions for us to do a lot before we left. For our 4 day stay it would have been nice and convenient to have more than just 1 small package of coffee. It was so peaceful and serene, and we felt right at home. The condo had everything we needed, and then some! The hot tub was fabulous, though it was so cold we only got to use it once. My only complaint is that there was not a way to separately lock the door from the inside, not even a chain door lock. We live somewhere where you also double lock your doors, so this made me a little uncomfortable at first, but quickly felt at ease, as it is clearly a safe neighborhood. BUT then, on day 3, someone from the property management company came by, she was at the wrong unit and it was an accident, but it really freaked us out because there was no knock or anything, we just heard someone using the code to come in, and it really scared me! We had just come back from an intense hike, and I had just gotten out of the shower. After the fear wore off, it just felt like a privacy violation. But, I would def still stay here again! The condo was pleasant, accommodations outstanding and the area was truly a winter wonderland.Positives was the strong maintenance, nice interior and proximity to both the mountains and Estes Park. Only negatives were the deck needed a hose connection to add water to the hot tub (it was low when we arrived and easily could have been filled) and it was a bit cramped, especially near the dining room. We also had snow but maintenance teams were plowing & shoveling right away. We loved having the fireplace and hot tub to relax after a long day of hiking. We were also very pleased to find a coffee grinder! My only complaint would be the quality of some of items (bed sheets were scratchy, toilet paper & Kleenex very thin and harsh). These are small items but attention to this detail makes a huge difference. And just be aware this is a lower level unit so you can hear neighbors upstairs coming and going. It is well equipped, beds are comfortable and is in a convenient and quiet location with a view of the Mountains. The Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP is just a couple miles away. Entry instructions were sent when promised and we found the condo to be clean and in good shape. Both bedrooms are an adequate size, the second bathroom is very small, so if traveling with 4 adults, this could be an issue. Two complaints, the drain in the small bathroom shower is slow and does not drain efficiently while using it. There were absolutely no instructions for using the hot tub on the deck and it is buttoned up pretty tight; however, in looking over our invoice, I see we were charged $50 for hot tub use. If you don't want people to use it, you should eliminate this charge. Other than these two items, I feel it was overall a great place to stay. Host's response: Thank you for your review. The winds up here in Estes Park are crazy and therefore our hottub covers need to be secure but not too secure that you are not able to use it. Perfect size, great layout, comfortable and modern look. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need while still organized. We marveled at the quality of everything - some Airbnb hosts buy the cheapest junk to furnish and fill their homes. Not here! Beds and linens were quality and comfortable. My mom liked the silverware so much she looked it up to buy a set. Its also one of the most well stocked kitchens as far as appliances and cookware are concerned. Its centrally located to RMNP and Estes Park activities. When we were staying, the wifi was incredibly slow. If youre wanting to be totally off-grid and unplug, this is a wonderful location! If youre wanting to work remotely, the wifi could be an issue. A 10-minute drive from downtown Estes Park.Check-in was tough was us because it was difficult to find unit 10B in the location, map was taking us somewhere else and we had to walk in 3 different streets to find the unit. It will be good if SkyRun could provide some indication of which unit is on which street. It took us 15-20 minutes to find the unit.Another issue is with the lights in the bedroom, really dull lights.Also, we did not have access to a washer and dryer. Its a little small at around 1,000sqft for the six of us, but we loved it anyway. This is a downstairs unit with upstairs neighbors. This is NOT listed in the description and we werent thrilled to have footsteps above us. This may not bother others but might have affected our choices in where to stay. We found out a few days before the trip when we received a map of the property. Some may assume this based on the fact that its a condo, but most people wont. FYI. There are lots of extra pillows and throw blankets, which made it easy for everyone in the colder weather. The kitchen is far from what Id consider basic: lots of baking dishes, mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, dishes for 8, two knife blocks, tons of cookie sheets, a blender, hand mixer, and even previous guests had left behind spices in the cabinets for use. I had ZERO troubles cooking or baking in the kitchen so well equipped! The beds are springy but comfortable. All of the windows open for fresh mountain air. The fireplace and hot tub were glorious. We couldnt override the settings on the AC/heater though, which was frustrating. TONS OF TOWELS. Way more than enough, and they provide separate hot tub towels. Fabulous. They provide a starter pack of household items, which means two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, two rolls of paper towels, five or so trash bags, two packets of laundry detergent, a normal sized bottle of dish soap, one brand new kitchen sponge, and about six dishwasher pods. I wasnt sure what a starter pack meant so we brought household things with us to minimize expenses, but hopefully this helps to better define what to expect. Theres a Safeway and a Dollar General in town if you need anything. Contactless checkin/checkout with a keypad lock, which also made it easy to come and go. The people in the office were so kind and even allowed us to ship some last-minute Christmas items to their office. Communication was great via text. LOVELY stay. Highly recommend. The kitchen has the basics for cooking if you choose to. Hot tub a plus! Lots of games provided for evenings to pass time. It was a nice location for our daily hikes in RMNP and easy enough to get to town for dining and shopping. Sky run was responsive with communication and took care of minor issues. My only recommendation would be some new pillows and linens for the beds. The pillows were very lumpy and the sheets were poor quality. To be fair I never asked for replacements, since I wasn’t sure if they could accommodate that. Overall great place! We loved our stay at Mary's Lake! The condo was incredibly clean and well-appointed. It had everything we needed to be comfortable for our 4-night stay. Parking was conveniently located in front of the condo and we never had an issue finding a space. The condo is very close to the entrances of RMNP, but far enough away from the crowds in Estes Park that is was very peaceful. The shower in the master bathroom was huge. We made use of the full-sized kitchen and cooked all of our meals. We spent our evenings on the deck looking out over the mountains and the lake. There were frequent visits from deer and also an elk. The hot tub was also a great addition, even though we only used it twice. Our only complaint was regarding the condo above ours. When the occupants would get out of their hot tub, the water would drip down from their deck onto us while we were sitting at the table. Master bath was huge, other one was smaller but still nice. Jacuzzi was nice touch, check in was a breeze and contact-less. This place is next to Marys Lake, beautiful backdrop of mountains. Very comfortable place and perfect location. The reason I took off one star was because the cleaning fee was quite high - more than $300. For this I would expect immaculate cleaning. However, upon check-in, there were several hairs I found in the bathroom, and even a long hair within the bedsheets of our bed. The fridge also had crumbs inside and a small food stain I had to scrub out. Small things yes, but still not what I would expect for this place and the fees assessed. Overall good stay though. Check in is super easy with the keypad lock. Only downsides were that the grill was broken and the wifi didn't work. The management was really responsive and eventually got the wifi fixed right before we left. Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots to do. We had a hard time finding the unit because the map that we got was a little fuzzy. The property was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Furnishings very comfy. Was a little disappointed that the hot tub above us leaked and we couldn't use the table and chairs. When it became really bad I reported it and it seemed fixed quickly. The grill was awesome and we used it a lot. Nice that it is hooked to house gas. e spent a lot of time at the park and in the town. Lots to do. Good location about 3 miles from the National Park and 3 miles from downtown Estes Park. We went in late March which was a good time given the lack of crowds. The activities we did were: horseback riding with Sombrero stables, ATV rentals, skiing in Eldorado, and plenty of hiking- Bear lake, Lily Lake, Loch lake. The hot tub was clean and a good temperaturecommunication with the staff was good and they were timely and helpful. Overall I would recommend staying here.
