Walk down the hallway and you're there on the "Corridor" green run that leads directly to the gondola and main village. Return via Mary Jane Trail to Corridor. Mary Jane trail is a wide groomed blue that most beginner/intermediate skiers can navigate. True beginners should walk from main village, which takes about 5 minutes tops, or spend your day at Mary Jane beginning area and return via Corridor. Did I mention it's SO EASY! We really enjoyed the convenience of ski in/out. The condo has plenty of blankets and pillows now correcting previous reviews. Kitchen was well stocked. It was a very cute and cozy unit with enough room for two people to stay comfortably. Parking was easy and we enjoyed the large outdoor hot tubs. The location was great, but if you plan to utilize the "ski-in/ski-out," just make sure you confirm which runs are open. We were able to ski down to the main lifts, but couldn't get back (had to walk or take a shuttle) because the Mary Jane side of the mountain was not open yet. Typically Mary Jane is not open until mid-December and you visited in November when only 2-3 runs were open as it was very early season. Two issues that could be improved though: 1. The bed is a Murphy bed and the mattress is soft and uneven. Would be easy to fix. 2. The fridge is a bit loud and the compressor runs too often. Since this is a studio condo, you can hear it from bed. Would be nice to look into that. However, overall, we had a great stay (7 nights) and would stay again. Quite small and a little too much furniture in the apt, as always in CO mtn houses for some reason. A 4-person table with 4 big chairs for a studio, plus 3 end tables...Construction was going on during my stay and power was out for one of the entire days (unexpectedly and without warning). They gave me a partial refund. The texting communication works pretty well.Not so much for views from the apt, and it's a little inconvenient being on the 5th floor.Pool and hottub were closed even thought the pandemic is over in the US. Steam room though. Jill Stayed Aug, 2021 Review This condo is managed by a rental company that was responsive and communicated well. It is exactly as pictured and I enjoyed staying here for 10 days. When I checked in it was pretty warm (~78) but cooled off after opening the patio door. I kept the patio door open most of the time and it stayed cool the rest of my stay. The view from the patio is of the side of the mountain. There is some construction going on below but I still thought the view was nice and it was quiet on the weekends and evenings. The location is really good. There are nice hiking trails nearby and Winter Park is a 5 minute drive away. The parking garage in the basement is convenient. I worked during my stay and the internet service was really good too. All of the appliances and electronics were modern and in good working condition. The bed was comfortable. It's a true ski in / ski out. The condo is on the same floor you need for the ski lockers and the exit to ski out.When we made our reservation, there weren't any reviews, so wanted to leave a detailed review for other guests.Likes:- Ski in / Ski out. Very easy access to the base area. - There is a shuttle (green line) that stops at the condos, as well as the mountain base area. It was a very short walk from the snow at the base to the shuttle waiting area.- Perfect for a couple or small family with 1 - 2 kids.- Full kitchen that was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc.- Parking is in a garage on the ground floor of the condo. Easy to find a spot every time.- Murphy bed was really comfy. It was like a Tempurpedic memory foam, but I didn't check to see what brand.- Hot tub & pool looked awesome. (They were closed due to COVID, so we didn't get to try them out.)- Everyone wore masks in hallway & when skiing. (COVID-precautions)Dislikes:- Only 2 pillows, need to have more especially if we had been using the couch bed- No humidifier. Pack your own travel one if you're sensitive to the dry air.- No coffee, spices or anything like that.- TV was in a weird spot for watching from the couch, and couldn't watch from the murphy bed.- Fireplace is the unit's heating element. It's not a timer fireplace like a lot of other condos in CO. You can't turn it on and off as you want, unless you want to change the room temperature.- You need a car/bus to get to the town of Winter Park. It's about 5 miles from the condo.
