My only issue was with the pool area. The condo has been updated and has everything we needed, including what looks like a brand new refrigerator. It is well equipped with dishes, utensils, towels, and paper goods. The location is primo, a short drive to many great hikes and literally steps away from the walking path along the Snake River. We walked to Keystone Lake and back every evening, then took advantage of the hot tub. The management company was friendly and helpful, even helping us sort out a problem with a laptop that had nothing to do with the wifi in the unit. We stayed in off-season, and the price was very reasonable, a good value. We hope to stay here again, and heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay in the Keystone area. The hot tubs are spacious and a short walk away. Shuttle service isn't too far from the unit. I docked a star due to the distance from the parking lot and the number of steps. The complex has carts to help unload, but they can't even be brought to the door of the unit; effectively they help you make it half way. Lots of extra work for families traveling with young children. Probably not as much of an issue for groups with adults or older children. Its nothing fancy, but is spacious, family friendly, and in a good location. The elevator was out of service so we had to climb 4 flights, but they were actively working on it. The laundry is not in the unit as the ad might lead you to believe. You have to use the shared laundry facilities (coin op or credit card) in a separate building. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were some nice touches with games, kids books, and extra pillows and blankets. If the elevator was working and laundry was in unit, Id give it 5 stars! The location is greatfive minutes from the slopes and ten minutes from almost everything we wanted to do with hikes, shopping, and restaurants. Make sure you get good directions to your unit and the lockbox. If youre traveling with a larger group it could also be tricky to take your luggage in since parking isnt right by each unit. Smaller groups can probably fit everything in the provided rolling carts. We were particularly pleased with how clean this unit was. The pool and hot tub are nice, and the views and nearby trail are gorgeous. The decorating is eclectic, and the condo is very roomy (we had 2 adults and 6 children and had plenty of room). Probably the most impressive part was we couldnt hear our neighborsat every other condo weve stayed in in this area, you can hear someone sneeze! Were excited to come back! The location was phenomenal with easy access to a walking/biking trail right behind the building. Super convenient along with a gorgeous running river right next to it. The unit was nice, clean, and comfortable. CONS: - only 1 parking spot available for renters- the only available bell cart to help with transporting luggage and heavy items was broken; wheels halfway flat and one side of the steel frame came out when trying to pull it. (our unit was on the 4th floor) - did not receive information about guest parking until I asked again (host was prompt in getting back to us about this)- I love coffee and the coffee maker did not work...had to get creativeWhat You Can Expect:A 1 bedroom Condo (not 2 bedroom) with an upstairs loft that has 2 full beds with a total of 2.5 bathrooms. This unit is located on the 4th floor of the building. It has an amazing view from the huge main window looking out towards the mountain range (just be careful not to fall out if you open that window; no protective screen, just a low fence-like bar that would take some effort to go over, not recommended to have it opened with unattended children) No AC but it gets really nice and cool in the evenings and mornings; it's a thing in the mountains if you're not familiar. There are wheeling carts available to assist with luggage and transportation of items for the stay to the unit but you will have to find the slightly longer route to roll the cart around to the entrance of the door of the building that this unit is in (there are stairs when you walk straight from the parking lot to the building entrance so there is a different route for wheeling around the cart). If the bell cart is functioning properly then you would have no issues transporting your belongings between multiple levels. If you have to manually carry things there are elevators. We enjoyed being able to walk down the steps to the river and a few trails. The condo was comfortable and had a good amount of space to spread out and settle into, and was equipped with almost everything we needed (apart from spices, and some kitchen equipment). We loved the big window and view in the sitting room, which afforded a comfortable spot for watching beautiful Colorado sunsets. With that being said the condo felt old and in need of updating. It's a rather dark condo even with the big window. The lack of a screen for ventilation on the big window, or other windows, made for some wasp intrusion which was overly exciting. We would have liked to be able to open the windows in the bedroom as there is no cooling in the house apart from the main room ceiling fan and it does get hot in summer (being the top floor). Lastly we are not excited by having a fully carpeted living space as it makes it harder to keep allergies at bay especially with pine pollen season visible outside (even if that is beautiful). David Stayed Feb, 2020 Review Great stay but forced out to leave at the same time we were getting emergency warning on our phones of snow squalls, white our conditions and deadly road conditions, they said we couldnt stay and wait out the storm unless we paid the $50 per hour fee after they already informed us the room was vacant the next day and try to sell it to us at a lower rate. so we drove in insanely dangerous conditions, complete BS and Im still pissed about it. It's great there are 2.5 baths in the condo for larger groups. We did need extra towels/sheets for the sofa beds, but SkyRun Management was extremely responsive, and got us the extra items right away. The hot tub/pool can get crowded, but is a great amenity to have in the evenings. There is a wood fireplace in the condo which is amazing! One downside is that only one car can be within the condo. The rest of the cars have to park in the Keystone public lot. Minus this it was overall a great stay! Condo is very close to Keystone, A-basin and short drive to Copper and Breck. We had 8 people and still had room for more. There was only a few things that need to be fixed and they would have gotten a 5 star rating. 1st was the heater. if you set the heater in the main room above 70 degrees an alarm goes off until you turn the temp below 70. This kind of got old when ever the alarm went off. The next issue was the parking. They only allow 1 car in the parking lot which is pretty small. So if you had more than 1 car you have to park it about a 1/2 mile away in the free parking. There is a city bus that takes you to the mountain so it all worked out. This space suited our needs and was very close to Keystone Resort. Although the living area was a little small for 9 people, there was more than enough bathroom space and sleeping arrangements. Adam Stayed Jan, 2017 Review We traveled with 10 to Keystone this past MLK weekend. Keystone had just received about 48" of snow over a 7 day period so we were concerned about the drive and the distance we'd need to travel to the slopes each day from this place. None of that was a concern once we got there. There was ample parking and the driveways were mostly cleared of snow. The walk from the parking lot to the unit is a bit difficult if you're carrying a lot of luggage. There is no ramp to get to the unit and there is about 8-10 stairs in total from the parking lot down to the base of the entrance door, then up another 6 grated steps into the building. There is an elevator once you get in the building which was useful. The walk to the bus is not far, but again, lots of stairs. The place was very tidy and with ample bedding material. Everyone will be jockying for the King Bed because it is the only "private" room in the house. The other room is technically a loft with 2 double beds and a double bed trundle.. though not sure how to get the trundle out because there wasnt a lot of space up there. There is a twin in the closet (giant) and opens right in the closet like a little room. It worked. This place does technically sleep 11 but I would suggest for comfort's sake, 6-8 people. The place is large enough that 10 people in the house was perfectly fine. Overall, we were happy with all the amenities it came with, close to the pool and hot tub, shuttle service, and price. You rent through a 3rd party so it's much more difficult to get information/issues handled- This is a true ONE BEDROOM. They count the upstairs loft area as a bedroom- We rented through airbnb for 11 guests. Showed up and the linens and towels were only enough for 8 guests.- Very difficult getting in touch customer service re: more linens because there was no one in the office even though we arrived 2 hours before the closing time. Called and left voicemail and I unfortunately missed their return call. Had to wait till the next am to call again and receive the required amount of sheets+linens. - The complex itself is nice. Shared pool+hot tub. Great views. Close to skiing. Host's response: Hi Samantha, Yes we are a property management company. I'm sorry you felt that we were difficult to work with. The agent that entered your reservation into our system failed to enter the appropriate amount of guests so we did not have the condo made up for the maximum number of people. Though our phone system said we were closed I return your call 3 separate times the night of your check in and you did not get back to me. I was going to bring you extra sheets and towels but I did not know what to bring you because you didn't leave the information in your message. As soon as we were in contact in the morning I brought over the extra linens right away. This condo is marketed as a two bedroom because it has a private sleeping loft with two beds and a full bathroom. Spacious unit with a loft This was a perfect fit for our family vacation. This is the second time we have stayed in this unit and we haven't been disappointed yet! From the moment we walked in, we felt as if we had just walked into our own home. The unit has all the amenities from games, movies, cards and even spices.Just up a few steps is the swimming pool and hot tub. Upon arrival, it is just a quick trip from the check-in counter to the condos location. the parking lot is easily accesible, and the place also has a sweet indoor pool jacuzi and sauna. the condo is located a quick drive, or short shuttle run away from the mountain as well. additionaly, the condo view overlooks a gorgeouse section of the mountain. We were looking for some pampering after doing without for that long and this condo was exactly what we wanted. The swimming pool and hot tub was excellent. The only issue we had was how unseasonably hot it was. There was only one window and it did not have any screens so if we opened it, especially at night we got bugs. There were 5 families in different units and all the units were very nice. Our unit was very clean and modern. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped above and beyond our needs! The only complaint are the plastic mini-blinds covering the skylight windows in both bedrooms. They are very flimsy, do not hang properly and block out no light whatsoever. This may not be a problem in the winter months, but it certainly is in the summer when daylight begins around a.m. Other than this, our unit was wonderful. They were dilapidated and simply didn't block the morning sun, making it difficult to sleep beyond a.m. A simple upgrade would make a huge difference, particularly for summer guests. We received excellent service. We left a rental DVD at the location and called your local management office. They worked with housekeeping and recovered the DVD, which we greatly appreciated.
