This two bedroom condo in the Mountain House area of Keystone is so cool. It is perfect from a small family of 3-5 people.The owner was very accessible. He was in contact with us prior to our stay and readily available via phone for any questions or concerns we had. The unit is nicely updated with a partial mountain ski cabin feel and partially contemporary.The kitchen is done in crisp whites and grays. You won't need to bring any kitchenware because it has all the pots, pans, and dishes you need.1 bedroom has a double bunk with a twin on top and a full on the bottom. Master bedroom has a queen and it's own full bathroom. Nice touch that you can charge your phones in each of the bedrooms.We like that fact that there are 2 bathrooms, one available via the 'hallway'. There's also a stacked laundry washer and dryer for those on longer stays. The view from the back patio is beautiful. It is of the the river and mountain, where you can see the Argentine and Peru Express lifts.We will definitely be coming back when we ski/board at Keystone and even in the summer.I am rating 5 stars because this is a place we could see ourselves living in.The only area I would remove part of a star, would be for the ability to exit (go west) onto Highway 6 from the unit. jamie b. Only negative is that the walk to the Mountain House base area was a little long for my parents, esp in ski boots - but my husband and I much prefer a short hike to trying to time a shuttle (which you can also catch right outside the condo, to get to the gondola area). It was so quiet and peaceful in the room. We had an issue with the wi-fi, but manager came and fixed it in a very timely manner! -unlike a different condo we rented in January that never did get the wi fi working! Ski in ski out building right on River Run was great for us. We had an infant in the family, so someone had to stay in the room. Made it very easy to keep everyone connected! Kitchen was awesome - made us want to cook. Loved that all the essentials were in the cupboard - olive oil to cinnamon to popcorn! Very accommodating for our extended family. The living area was much more spacious then the last condo we were in. Also has a nice large table for playing games. Definitely recommend this for those who ski and want a quiet place to relax at night! Pool, hot tub and bonfire on the deck were very inviting. We have two favorite restaurants in the area. Arapahoe Cafe and pub in Dillon has really great smoked ribs, brisket etc. The Mint in Silverthorne is a very unique atmosphere with great steaks that you pick out and grill yourself.
