Beach Castle Resort has a new parking pass policy in place. Each reservation includes one on-site parking pass, which must be clearly displayed on your dashboard whenever your vehicle is parked on the property. You’ll find the pass inside the condo—please retrieve it after check-in time. To avoid any issues, we kindly ask that you do not park at the resort before check-in or without the pass displayed. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed. An extra parking pass will be provided for The Cedars Condominiums just a short distance up the street. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Little Piece of Paradise

It s A Shore Thing is such a relaxing and tranquil place to go. I ve stayed there several times over the years and it never disappoints! Love the comfy bed, how quiet it is on the grounds. The fact they have beach lounge chairs for your use, the pool and hot tub were clean and peaceful. Just what I needed!

Review

Overall a pretty good stay. Host was extremely responsive. Exactly as pictured. Very well equipped with towels,pots/pans. Very comfortable beds,short walk across the street to the beach. Wish the listing stated it was on the 2nd floor. Listing stated oil,salt and pepper were included, they were not. Photos of the owners throughout the home were rather odd. Cleaning fee was rather steep considering you are required to basically leave it clean,trash and all dishes included with exception of laundry. check in is at 4pm, check out is 10am for cleaning purposes,although it was pretty clean, some pots/pans were dirty, some hair on bathroom counter top and on toilet. fire alarm was extremely sensitive. Quite area, clean property. Not any blame on the property, but our neighbors did not park properly, so we couldn't fully open the car doors to unload let alone get out of the car. Pool and hot tub were great. Pool could be slightly colder. Plenty of storage space/drawers. would stay again.

Enjoyed the stay here. Easy check in and access, great location. Beach is beautiful, pool and hot tub well maintained. Easy access to all restaurants on LBK and quick drives to other keys and Sarasota. Would stay again!

We just loved our place! So close to the beach, pool and hot tub, and laundry. The view from the back overlooking the bay was gorgeous as well. The screened in porch feels like you are in a jungle paradise and many games if Skipbo were played there for wonderful family time. All the small touches; Turkish beach towels, cozy soft bath towels, delicious coffeewere so appreciated! A 5 star stay, for sure!

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this Longboat Key location. Directions were great and it was easy to access. The place is just like the pictures, and was very clean. The living area couch and chairs are comfortable, as is the bed (that's very important to us). The screened deck is nice and private, and you can catch a breeze there while having a cup of coffee in the morning.We loved the location. We crossed the street to the beach every day, and there are chairs, tables and lounges to use. We never had a problem with availability. And the beach is beautiful. There are very good restaurants within walking distance. We liked LaNorma (very good Italian), Harry's (lunch), Blue Dolphin (breakfast), Euphemia Haye (gourmet dinner). There's a great park for walking path back to the sound behind the key (Joan M Durante Park). Nice grocery store a few miles down the road (Publix).We'd definitely visit again.

Review

Perfect walking distance to the gulf. The beach was clean, lots of sea shells. Could walk to the dock on Sarasota bay and watch the sun rise (just need bigger coffee travel mugs to take with you so you can sip on your coffee which did not come with the place) It was very clean upon arrival. Within walking distance to 2 very nice restaurants and one clothing store. A very peaceful place to simply relax. I would definitely recommend it.

The condo was very clean and inside, obviously updated very nicely. Before we went in, we were wondering - the exterior is dated - but once inside we didnt care. Just to be clear, there is no view and none was claimed, but the location is a 2 minute walk to the Gulf and a 1 minute walk to a dock on the bay. In short, the location is wonderful! My spouse and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our four night three day stay. Had a bit of trouble getting in and Hans was very responsive. Dealing with the key issue! The laundry is not located inside the condo, which I was not aware of, but it is on the premises.The area is beautiful and the beach is across the highway. The Sarasota bay is behind the condominium complex, which is also very beautiful.
