We had planned a Thanksgiving gathering, with dinner on Thursday, and skiing Friday through Sunday. Mother Nature had other plans. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the amenities of 1138 Skiers Heaven. Sleeping arrangements were more than sufficient for our families-three separate-total of twelve in all. The rooms are arranged so that adult grandchildren can stay up late, enjoy a hot tub, and be loud without bothering parents and grandparents. The common areas, three in all inside and two more outside, were perfect for football game watching in one room, puzzles in one, bracelet making in another, and a cozy fire pit outside. Enough room for everyone to have their own “space” if needed. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils, cookware, dishes, glassware and silverware needed to prepare our TG dinner, with sufficient seating around a large table. The house is clean, beds are comfy, and fireplaces and TVs abound. 1138 is close to Main Street for our early morning walks to several different coffee shops, all of which were very good. Lots of shopping! The steps from the house to Main Street and back once or twice a day provided great exercise! If there had been snow, access to the slopes on/off the slopes is located just at the end of the street where the house is located. Even though no snow the ice rink and the bobsled were open!! Everyone at SkyRun was great at returning calls and accommodating any requests. Little need for requests as all was in working order, was well stocked, and instructions were provided where needed. The house fit 11 girls with PLENTY of space and came equipped with everything we needed over the weekend. The accessibility to Main Street and summer activities (alpine slide, zip lining, etc) is hard to beat and so convenient. Armstrong Trail is only walking distance away too. There is an incredible bus system too that we used while there to get us to Main Street if we didn t want to walk. The house was simply incredible & we re already talking about planning our return sometime soon!!! The home was very well outfitted with everything you could dream of in the kitchen for cooking, the bedding was fabulous, it had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to host our group of 13 (we had 3 families in town for a ski trip) - the adults had areas to relax in and the young adults (teenagers) had their own space as well. Plenty of comfortable beds for 11 of us, large TVs in every room with attached Sonos sound bars, cozy fireplaces throughout and TWO hot tubs with outdoor heaters. Wish it was actually ski in/out (technically it's a 5-min walk in/out). Sky Run is a great host with excellent communication. We'd absolutely stay here again, highly recommend! Huge interior - living space, kitchen and bedrooms are large, en-suite baths are phenomenal. The kitchen is fully equipped for even a professional chef's liking. We visited at the end of September for one of our sons' wedding - all five of our sons and their fiancees traveled with us for a mini reunion. End of September/early October is a stunning time of year to travel to Park City. No skiing yet, but crisp autumn air & leaves, coupled with a hot tub, are magical. The pictures match what youre getting. Really well designed house and they incorporated details like heating panels outside on the patio, fire pit, outdoor TV with Apple TV, etc. The kitchen is also so great with every accessory youd ever need. I spend a lot of time in park city, and the location is perfect. You can walk to Main Street in under 10 minutes, hiking trails a few hundred feet down the road, and during ski season theres a trail down the road that will run to the town lift.SkyRun is a well run management company. Plenty of space, high end finishes and furnishings this place is pure luxury! My favourite part was the patio with gas fire pit and heaters with the most beautiful view. Walking distance to pcmr and Main Street location is perfect. The beds were all comfy (and there are a lot of them!) and the huge kitchen is one of the best stocked vacation rental kitchens we ve used. We already want to come back. As a plus, the Skyrun service was helpful, responsive and accommodating. They brought us extra parking tags and even coffee pods after texting them some questions.
