The kids swam from morning to night. Restaurants, grocery stores and all of downtown was all very close. The location was wonderful and walkable to Main Street in Gilbert where there are tons of options for food and drinks. The house was large enough to accommodate 5 adults and 2 children. We really enjoyed the backyard with the heated pool, ping pong table and corn hole games. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of regular and pool towels. The neighborhood is quiet and low key and made for some peaceful sleeping. The owners were very responsive to any questions/requests and provided a complimentary late check-out which was much appreciated. Would recommend staying here for anyone visiting Gilbert! It was perfect. Very clean and nicely decorated. The open floor plan in the kitchen and living area was perfect and I cannot say enough about the backyard! The pool was so clean and the perfect temperature for the cool evenings. I feel like we spent more time in the outdoor area than inside just hanging out by the pool, BBQing, listening to music. It was the perfect relaxation spot. And I cannot say enough about the location. It is a 2 minute drive from downtown Gilbert and definitely walkable if you do not have a vehicle. We didn't have a chance to use all that was available to us but appreciated the fact that it was there. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt very safe there. The location was fantastic, with downtown Gilbert just a short walk away and all Phoenix has to offer within a 20 minute drive. The house was beautiful and well maintained, with everything (including coffee!) that we needed for our stay. Our favorite part was the backyard... cornhole, ping pong, the comfortable covered outdoor patio, and, of course, the pool! Our kids absolutely loved swimming in it to end each day after sweating in the AZ heat. We would definitely recommend this property and this host, and we would stay there again if we find ourselves in the area in the future. The couch was super comfy and the outdoor furniture was great. Everything was in great condition and we would definitely come back.The only thing that felt a bit off was we messaged to see if the home was available for early check in since we got to town early and have young kids and they charged us $50 per hour early we wanted to check in. The other thing is that the listing makes it seem like its a husband and wife youre renting from when its actually a large vacation rental company. The pool was amazing and heated, no large fees for heating the pool per night, it had a rock waterfall and was so peaceful being out there. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable!! Also we had full access to the garage which was so nice, most places we looked at did not have that option, only drive way parking but we had the garage door opener in our car and came and went that way, so easy!! There were plenty of pool towels and bath towels, we had no shortage of anything while we were there! I would highly recommend this home to a family with kids or couples, either way you will be happy!! Oh and the backyard had corn hole and ping pong, we played the corn hole one evening and had fun!! While Airbnb is always pricey I loved that everything was priced into the daily rate. There was no nickel and diming which makes you feel like you have to ration everything. Departure duties were reasonable - sometimes you basically have to do housekeeping's job for them. As a family that has had some bad Airbnb experiences, this was a breath of fresh air. Our 2 kids ages 11 and 9 loved having their own kid room to hang out in to play with a couple toys or relax watching a movie or Xbox gaming. We thought they would choose to split up rooms but wanted to be together. The kitchen had all that we needed. The pool was perfect being heated for a couple cool mornings. It was super clean and warm enough even at Christmas! I can't speak for all of the beds in the house because I only slept in the master bed. But it was very comfy, even for my husband who is picky about beds was very pleased. We would definitely stay there again. We parked two cars in the garage which was nice! We washed several loads of laundry and the washer and dryer were really nice...better than my own!. Pete and Maria were great because they did not bombard us with messages and texts. The house had everything we needed and some extras. My 1 1/2 year old loves the magnetic blocks that were in the kids room. Pete and Maria were able to accommodate me after a different Airbnb didnt work out. They sent someone right over to the house to get me in within the hour. It was very appreciated! Something I would want to know with a toddler is check out is at 10. A lot of airbnbs Ive stayed at are at 11 and that hour is really helpful. Probably just a personal problem. Pete and Maria offered to extend the trip for another night at a reduced rate to accommodate a later check out but we chose not to pay a couple hundred dollars for a few hours. It was actually a blessing in disguise bc we went to the railroad park in Scottsdale which is a must if you have LITTLEs. Nonetheless I would definitely stay at this Airbnb again! The location is very close to downtown Gilbert which was great. A+ listing! And so a great location within walking distance to downtown Gilbert, which had adorable coffee shops, restaurants, and fun bars to check out. Loved all the thoughtful details that made our stay here extra comfortable from plenty of towels, blankets for the couch, hotel style shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so many cool kitchen gadgets and literally everything you would need to cook or dine in, coffee maker, washer and dryer, iron, impeccably decorated with plenty of spaces to sit spend time. Its in a perfect location close to town and the house has all the amenities one could ask for.
