So beautiful. The home and the views. Everything we had hoped for...and more. We are so glad we didn't spend our money on a hotel in town. All the restaurants, activities and shopping we did were about a 10 minute or less drive. It is so quiet on the property. All you hear are nature sounds and smell is sage in the morning and evening. We watched rabbits and humming birds. Although we never met the owners, they were most responsive and helpful. They are top Airbnb Hosts. There is not one thing that was missing on our holiday. Most impressive, though, was how well-stocked it was, particularly the kitchen. My family referred to the pantry as the room of requirement because we could find anything we needed there - from a KitchenAid mixer to assorted bowls and baking dishes to spices to a first-aid kit. The same attention to detail was evident throughout the house. There were towels for the hot tub, a grill, a sleep number bed, extra linens for everything, and so forth. The room with the pull-out sofa was a perfect fourth bedroom space for one of my teenagers who claimed it within five minutes of arrival, and the other bedrooms were very comfortable. Santa Fe and all its attractions are minutes away. We saw two operas and a concert and ate some incredible food, and enjoyed hanging out on the patio overlooking the mountains. Good supplies in the kitchen for any food prep. Comfortable beds, nice outdoor spaces to enjoy the sunset. One thing that I hope they'll fix is the bathroom door in the master bathroom - it has 2 accesses, and one of them was taped open, which meant that a couple sharing the room might need to work out a way to give privacy to each other. I'm assuming they are planning to fix this, and outside of this, we were very satisfied. As an example of how responsive they were as hosts, the coffee carafe was cracked. When we brought it to their attention, they arranged to have it replaced the same day. Instructions were clear and concise. Location is perfect as slightly above town for heading up to the mountains, but just a short drive to downtown and the Plaza. We appreciated how close it was to hiking trails, the ski basin, and was only a short drive to the Plaza. SkyRun was nice and responsive and the house was really clean too.
