Longboat Key Life

Once a vacation land of the Timucuan and Caloosa Indians, Longboat Key is a quieter gulf-side retreat located between Lido Key and Anna Maria Island along Florida's southwest coast. The barrier island is surrounded by the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay. The island's eastern shoreline is covered in mangroves with hidden canals and marinas. Second time we have stayed at Hermanas 1. We really enjoyed it once again!! Its quiet and the beach is at the back door!!! The room is always clean and ready for us, it does need a new bed and the shower pressure is on the low side but we were told these two items are to be addressed ASAP... We are planning on returning in April and renting all 4 rooms... Reserve this place you won't regret it! Thanks again for your hospitality SKYRUN!! See you again.... John & Nancy
