Stayed Mar, 2023 Wonderful mountain townhome The property was super clean and had all the necessities! The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The decor was lovely. The huge bonus were the floor to ceiling windows and killer views of the slopes of Vail!! Gorgeous views from the bedrooms as well. Great location..literally a couple minutes drive to the village. Check in was a breeze as well as check out. Highly recommend this property! Host's response: 1 Larry N. Stayed Mar, 2023 Spectacular view!! You walk into this house and it is open to the second floor and most of the wall is a window with skiers in view and the beautiful forestry against clear blue skys. Breathtaking. Kind of odd room setup with the upper floor being obviously the master but instead of a king bed, there are twin beds. In the lower level one bedroom with Queen and other queen. I dont think Id want my little ones sleeping in beds two stories up in an unfamiliar house. Aside from that, it was very homey with many spices available and other niceties. Very clean. We rent lots of houses every year and they share the cleanest house with one other than all the rest. My contact person at Skyrun Rental Properties, Athena Marquez, was one of most efficient communicators of 35 years of renting homes. We started renting at a time where you viewed a property via fax. There was no internet. Weve been around the block enough to know when weve lucked out with the rental manger or not. Athena was amazing. Host's response: 1 Nola L. Stayed Feb, 2023 Awesome property - photos don't do it justice This home was wonderful - spacious, well appointed, and with a great layout that made it easy for our group to come together when needed while also giving us the space to spread out into our own suites for privacy. While we unfortunately did not have very much free time to spend at the home, we wish we could have to enjoy all the amenities! The photos definitely do not do this place justice - we were very happily surprised by the cozy and homey decor when we arrived. It's a bit of a trek to get into Lionshead or Vail Village without a car if you're staying here, so definitely recommend that if you'll be doing lots of back-and-forth between the areas. Also, it can get icy in the neighborhood, so make sure to drive slow and get 4WD. Highly recommend this property and we'd definitely come back! Host's response: 1 Giancarlo Stayed Jan, 2023 Review Vail is a beatiful place and this house isvery cozy and confortable, we only went for 3 nights but wanted to stay for much longer. Host's response: 1 Natica v. Stayed Jan, 2023 Family stay in Vail. As a family home, it was nicely appointed with artistic touches and Turkish rugs. Kitchen well outfitted.Lovely walks around Potato Patch.Good snowplowing to keep up with daily snowfalls.Beautiful views of Vail mountain with first row seats for fireworks on New Years Eve. Great family vacation spot for adults and children. Host's response: 1 Bev C. Stayed Mar, 2022 Vail vacation Nice location, roomy home, only issue was the house advertised a king and 2 queen beds but instead of the king there were 2 twin beds and we would have preferred a king. Athena was helpful. Thank you Host's response: 1 Daivik Stayed Feb, 2022 Review Athenas place was great. Convenient and beautiful. Host's response: 1 Brian L. Stayed Jan, 2022 Amazing stay, great location, beautiful unit Exceeded expectation. Unit was in a fantastic location right on the Sandstone bus line. We had plenty of space, everyone was comfortable. Unit is clean and has amazing art and decorations. Highly recommended, A+++ Host's response: 1 Daniel Stayed Dec, 2021 Review Wonderful stay, very close from lifts and a great communication. Host's response: 1 Adam Stayed Dec, 2021 Review Athena responded really quickly to any questions we had. The place was very clean and cozy. Host's response: 1 Julie D. Stayed Dec, 2021 Lovely spot in Potato Patch! Bright and spacious unit with gorgeous views and great access to bus line and hiking trails. And so fun to see a little bit of Colorado ski history captured in the photographs on the walls- very special place! Host's response: 1 Sarah Stayed Jul, 2021 Review Wonderful location. We were able to walk to Vail Village and had amazing views. The summer amenities were perfect for our stay! Host's response: 1 Colleen H. Stayed Feb, 2020 Potato patch 22 winter 2020 The home is lovely and feels like a home rather than a rental which was very nice. A few things that could be improved. The VRBO ad says there is a hot tub on the property. However, it wasn't until i got the check-in instructions a week before we arrived that said the hot tub is closed in the winter. That was problematic because as older skiers, we need hydrotherapy. The heating was confusing as was the TV. Instructions for how to use both would have been helpful. The BBQ was out of propane and then had a missing valve. The property managers should check that more regularly. We missed out on two planned meals as a result. Finally, the home says it sleeps 8, we were a party of 4 adults and we ran out of hot water the first day when we all took showers after skiing. Seems it should be able to handle more hot showers. The rest of the trip we took short showers and spread them out. Overall, it is a very nice home and had good amenities. Host's response: 1 Kevin Stayed Feb, 2020 Review This is well worth the price. Shuttles to and from the resorts. Friendly neighbors and community. Amazing scenery. Would love to stay here again Host's response: 1 Bradley Stayed Jan, 2020 Review The house was just as described, very clean and tons of space. Great location very close the slopes with the bus stop with in walking distance to get to and from vail village. Host's response: 1 Steven Stayed Jan, 2020 Review The roomy villa was perfect for our family group of 3 couples and 2 toddlers. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and very conveniently located close to the ski fields. Its elevated position provided outstanding views from the living area. We could watch the skiers coming down the mountain from the warmth of our living room. If like us you are unfamiliar with driving in snow be prepared for heavy falls and icy conditions in winter by either having an AWD or bring snow chains. We didnt know this and with our rear drive Durango had some fun getting up even the relatively small incline to the villa a couple times after heavy overnight falls. Host's response: 1 Anne Stayed Jan, 2020 Review This was a very nice home. All of the beds were comfortable. The house was perfect for friends or for family. Host's response: 1 Leisha Stayed Jan, 2020 Review This house has fantastic views and is just a short drive or shuttle across the highway to the mountain. The house itself is great, spacious, and clean. We were looking forward for use of the hot tub, but were disappointed to realize it was only for use during the summer months. Athena is great with quick responses. We would stay here again. Host's response: 1 Christina Stayed Nov, 2019 Review Athena's place is great! Everything went as expected and the home decor is pretty. We had a great time there and thank you Athena for all the prompt responses and help! Host's response: 1 Ryan Stayed Jun, 2019 Review Great location, quick and easy to get to the village! Host's response: 1 Joseph K. Stayed Mar, 2019 Everything and more! Skyrun outdid itself! This until had everything we could ever want! The rooms are fantastic, had plenty of towels and everything else you need to feel like you are right at home. If the stars align, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The check-in/check-out instructions were very clear, easy to understand and SkyRun was available via text for any of my questions or concerns! Thank you again for letting us stay with you! Host's response: 1 Alejandro A. Stayed Feb, 2019 Great cabin! This is an amazing cabin, really spacious and the pictures describe it perfectly, 4 rooms, 3.5 bath and spacious kitchen and living room with and amazing view of the slopes. Just steps away from the bus station. The admin people were also really helpful and friendly, answered all of our question and provided many ways of communications. Will be renting this again for sure! Host's response: 1 Kevin Stayed Feb, 2019 Review Great place but best for six Host's response: 1 Sarah Stayed Feb, 2019 Review This place was awesome. The views were incredible, it was cozy, and we were so close to Vail! We loved the complimentary coffee. The hosts even helped us with an early check in when we got in earlier than usual. The only drawback was that there was a hot tub listed, but it was not available when we got there 🙁 Host's response: 1 Michael Stayed Feb, 2019 Review Great ski house for any Vail stay. Lots of places to sleep and very large, but cozy at the same time! FIVE STARS Host's response: 1 Denise Stayed Dec, 2018 Review Beautiful home with stunning mountain views including large windows in the living room facing ski slopes. The home was super clean with plenty of amenities and space for a large group (6 adults, 2 children, 1 baby). The location was perfect, just minutes from the village. The host was wonderful and responded very quickly to any questions. We had a great vacation and hope to return again soon!
