Keystone Festival Lineup

There really is nothing like summertime in the mountains of Colorado. Sunny days are filled with plenty of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding you name it. There is something that can appeal to everyone here. We continue to see a huge growth in the amount of traffic here during the summer months, which are supposed to be our slower months! One of the main attractions for people coming from far and wide are the Keystone Festivals held in River Run Village.  Read on to find out about the music, activities and shopping offered at all of these festivals!

Keystone hosts several different types of Festivals that have great food, music, and fun to be had. The Festival season will kick off in just a couple of weeks with the Bacon and Bourbon Festival. This festival will have bacon themed foods, delicious beverages, and live music. Apparently, the Bacon Bloody Mary is something you don’t want to miss out on. This festival will feature music from two female cover bands, Lez Zeppelin and Hell’s Belles. The Bacon and Bourbon Festival will be hosted on June 23rd and 24th. Click here to buy tickets!

Following the Bacon and Bourbon Festival will be the Wine and Jazz Festival on July 14th and 15th. This Festival has been a long time favorite of wine connoisseurs for years because it brings in over 300 different wines. Celebrate the arts during Keystone’s Art Festival on July 28th and 29th! Over 80 artists will be showcasing their beautiful works of art during this innovative and fun festival. There will be several different mediums showcased; paintings, sculptures, wood workings, jewelry, ceramics, glass, photography and more. Bluegrass and beer will be on tap August 4th and 5th in River Run for the 22nd Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival. This popular festival will have beer from over 40 Colorado and National breweries on tap as well as Bluegrass music from 14 different groups on 3 stages in River Run. The bands include Monocole Band, Old Salt Union, Ragged Union, Masontown, Cicada Rhythm, The Lonesome Days, Head for the Hills, White Water Ramble, Brent Cobb, The Lil Smokies, and Mandolin Orange. Buy your tickets here!

On August 17th and 18th come to Keystone for the Mountain Town Music Festival. Local food vendors will be serving savory and sweet recipes, including their best peach recipes! Enjoy live music from The Mulligan Brothers, Blind Pilot, The Dustbowl Revival, and The Lone Bellow. Lastly, but definitely not least, will be Oktoberfest on September 1st! This festival will celebrate German brewed beers and features a dance performance from the Edelweiss Schuhplattlers.
