New Season, New Chances to Ride High at Keystone With Completed Bergman and Erickson Bowl Expansion

Picture it–ski season, 2022. You’re riding high along Keystone’s slopes and wondering why you can’t ride even higher.  Now you can.

Fast forward to ski season 2023 and hit Keystone’s expanded Bergman and Erickson Bowls. These two skiing opportunities provide a new skiing experience from trails green to black. No matter the trail’s difficulty, skiers will soar down the mountain next to breathtaking Rocky Mountain views. Fly down these new paths named after some of the area’s best-known mountain peaks like Miners, Ten Mile, Ute, Buffalo, and more.

Prior to the expansion, skiers could only gaze at the more than a mile-high elevation, but now a high-speed, six-person chairlift climbs alpine heights previously accessible only by hiking in and skiing out. The expansion opens up more than 550 acres that up until this season have largely stood underused. Coupled with the more advanced terrain of the Erickson Bowl, winter adventurers can choose their high-elevation adventure, and if that hike-to-ski experience is still on the docket, more than 1,300 acres of skiable terrain beckons expert skiers to traverse the South Bowl, the Windows, the North Bowl and Independence Bowl.

Be one of the first to test out this new gem in the Keystone crown.
