We live in a big home in DFW so we appreciate separate space during vacations as the kids get older (2 adults+ 2 boys *10/11 yrs). The house was as pictured. We had everything we needed. We only cook breakfast in the moorings, hit the Jeep trails & swim and stop for lunch/dinner/cocktail/ at any family friendly local spots. Plenty to do within 30 minutes drive from the house. We roasted marshmallow at the outdoor pit, relaxed in the hot tub for a bit, slept, and repeat. Bath towels and lake/hot tub towels were provided, the kitchen had the basic utensils for basic cooking. The fridge has ice makers and a washer/dryer is provided. The house was clean and comfortable. You will find the occasional critter/ spider web/leaves around to not fault of the hostess. It is the forest! Our family has a country house in Upstate NYC, so we expect it. We will return!
