It was very private and peaceful. Within a short drive to Broken Bow, Hochatown, Lake Broken Bow, and Beavers Bend State Park. The house was well stocked with plenty of space for our family of 4 and two dogs. The outdoor space with the hot tub and TV was awesome! Very relaxing retreat. Would definitely stay here again! The home was surrounded by trees so it felt like you were all alone in the woods despite having neighbors. We loved using the hot tub and wish we would have utilized the fire pit for smores but it was just too dang hot! One thing that needs to be mentioned, we brought our boat up to take advantage of the lake but the driveway was tight and the road was narrow so it took some effort to get in and out. Amazingly beautiful cabin both indoor and outdoors. Had no issues with any amenities. Kitchen was stocked up with pots. pans, mugs, dish soap, sponge, anything we needed basically! I was lost due to two sections called Hickory Ridge. So pay attention to which one you need. Also we had the sheriff department called on the other guest because we were driving slow down the gravel road. They said we were suspicious. We were driving slowly to avoid kicking up rocks. The cabin is beautiful but had dust on the stairs and spider webs on the walls. I paid $160 for a cleaning fee but unfortunately the property had lots of dust. The owners of the property were very responsive and helpful. I just wish it would have been a better experience without the sheriff being contacted because we were driving slow and couldn't find the cabin. Please keep this in mind when visiting the cabin. There are some window covering and some weren't. The windows in the bathroom made it uncomfortable to take a shower. I wish there were options to cover more windows.
