Alles war sehr gerumig und wir haben uns von der 1.Sekunde wohlgefhlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der atemberaubende Ausblick von der Terrasse und dem Hauptschlafzimmer. Unglaublich auch die Lage, da wir auch von einer ELK-Herde besucht worden sind und die Tiere von der Terrasse aus nchster Nhe beobachten konnten. I could go on for hours listing all the good about this place but here are a few favorites: 1. The Proximity to Estes Park amenities and RMNP. 2. The house was very clean and had everything needed for cooking. 3. The space in this house was wonderful especially with the downstairs game room which has its own living, bed, and bathroom. 4. The 5 outdoor decks made it where you could always find an enjoyable place outdoors to sit. 5. Lastly the views from this cabin were stunning. Natalie Stayed May, 2024 Review Our trip to Bearadise was just incredible. We were staying for a wedding at Black Canyon inn and the house was perfect driving distance. Very close to Gem Lake Trail at the Rocky Mountain National Park, which was stunning and highly recommend. The house is adorned with adorable bear decor, we challenged ourselves to count them but only made it to 130 before we lost count! Great selection of dvds, games and privacy for different couples. Overlooking downtown, we felt like we had one of the best views ever. The beds were comfy, and we had a selection of beautiful tiled showers to use. Playing pool while we were watching 3 ft of snow fall was a bonus. The huge kitchen was a treat! It was stocked with things you need. Several big family relaxing areas we just couldn’t decide where to be?. There are several balconies/patios as well. You will not regret renting this home! Andy Stayed Jun, 2023 Loved it! Wonderful home for our family of 9. Lots of space and plenty to do in the area. RMNP is gorgeous with plenty of trails that the little ones could do. We would definitely recommend this property as everything was top of the line from furniture to decor. Very clean! My only suggestion for the home would be to have a big rug inside the front door. It rained a lot when we were there and there wasn’t a place for wet shoes or something to step on to without getting the floor all wet. If we ever make it back to Estes, this will be our first pick! Beyond the views, the house is gorgeous, well appointed, beautifully furnished, and incredibly spacious. The huge gourmet kitchen begs for cooking family meals, and the wrap-around decks allow for soaking up plenty of fresh mountain air. The entire top floor is the stunning Master Suite, and the lower level is great for playing pool & video games. And unlike most properties around Estes, this property is extremely private and overlooks nothing but downtown Estes. We highly recommend this property and cant wait to visit again soon! The photos on the website do not do justice for the views from the house, especially from the top floor bedroom & porches. The house is well equipped, & great location. The hummingbird colony off the front porch is tremendous, as was the occasional visit we had from the elk herd on our street late in the day. Only down side was the type of mattresses on the beds (similar to Sleep Numbers). In theory they are great for the variety of guests, but we could never find a truly comfortable setting. We ate most meals in and cooking in this kitchen was a pleasure. Great stove and appliances. Kids and adults liked the game room with pool table and arcade machine. We also played the vintage board games provided. Its in a quiet woodsy neighborhood and early mornings included visits from elk, mule deer, and two black bears. Great location - 5 minutes from the Safeway and downtown Estes Park, 15 minutes from RMNP combined with privacy, quiet, and beautiful views of the mountains and town. Amrita Stayed Jun, 2021 Review We were traveling with family and two kids. The space was as advertised excellent views of the mountains, close proximity to the park, quiet and secluded. We even saw three elks relaxing under a tree right outside the house. We did not have to engage with anyone during the stay, which we preferred owing to the pandemic. The house was clean for the most part, but the dining table chairs were pretty soiled/ or may be too worn out, and didnt look inviting to sit on. The washing machine and dryer upstairs looked like they could be cleaned better. There were metal clips in the washer( may be dropped from a pervious wash). The bedrooms were spacious, and all the patios were spectacular they were large, and had beautiful views of the mountains. The bear theme was eclectic and the kids enjoyed looking at all the adorable bears around the house. If you want to visit the RNP often during your stay, this is a very convenient location. My family (husband and 2 young adult children) had a WONDERFUL, relaxing, fabulous stay this past weekend at Bear-a-dise! Weather was excellent - a little bit of everything: sun to snow! We were prepared too! The amenities of this house met all our expectations! Excellently stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable recliners in the living area, fun games, pool table (that we unfortunately ran out of time to use!), superb bathrooms and comfy beds and bedroom spaces. The master upstairs cannot be beat! Views from upstairs master room were fantastic! Lots of comfy chairs to enjoy the views - and private deck too! Our only complaints with it: 1. something happened to the right side of bed on first night - and we have a select comfort bed - and I couldn't quite get it the way I wanted it...thankfully it's a king so LOTS of space to share with my husband. 2. Jetted tub needs some instruction on how to get it to seal properly so that water stays in and doesn't get out...otherwise nice for after long hike. The house worked out so well for our multi-generational group of seven adults. A big plus is a second, driveway higher on the property to make the house accessible for the less mobile members of the group. My ladies' hiking group from Denver had such an amazing stay. The home was very spacious and well designed. The views were incredible and the master suite view was unbelievable. Although there were 7 of us, we all gathered around in the sitting room of the master suite and enjoyed the view with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Of course the views from the living room were wonderful, there was something magical about the upstairs view. This is a perfect place for a large group, especially for 2 families. Our Stay We had perfect weather in the 70/50s that allowed us to hike, eat, talk, eat, renew relationships, and eat again. We met Ranger Rick and got to visit the RMNP. Our Stay This place was perfect size for our big family, well apportioned kitchen, and great deck. Family Vacation We drove up from Omaha/Lincoln area, and it was beautiful! We had a few storms that came in, but they blew over quickly. We were able to hike, rapid transit raft, golf, mini-golf, adventure air course, fly-fish, read, and enjoy the beautiful views from every deck/window. We went to Antonio's Pizza, Hayley's Ice Cream, and Kirk's Fly Shop (Jerry was a great guide/teacher and so good with the kids). We really enjoyed the sunset, ice cream, and hiking Gem Lake! Stayed Jul, 2019 Great Family Vacation at Bear-a-Dise Bear-a-Dise was a fabulous choice for our family of 8 adults and 2 small children. The home is well-stocked and all the various sitting areas allowed us to have family time as well as private time. The views of the mountains and the downtown of Estes are spectacular. The master bedroom is huge with a beautiful sitting area and deck to enjoy the quiet and the outdoors. We appreciated having two separate laundry areas and plenty of fans for the areas of the home that arent air-conditioned. Upon arrival we had a couple of glitches that were attended to immediately by the staff maintenance. We also had a water heater malfunction that caused inconvenience, but we were very pleased with the quick response of the management to get the issue resolved. If you love bears (there are 1,000+ throughout the house) and a very comfortable home for your family or friends to stay in, we would highly recommend Bear-a-Dise. We were disappointed to find the AC did not work when we got there with highs in the 90s all weekend. We were told they could not fix and we would have to do without. You were here during our mid-September warm period - 80 degrees in Estes Park can be a bit warm if you're expecting cooler weather. We love the fact that when it's 90 degrees in Denver we tend to run at least 10 degrees cooler than in the valley. Bear-a-dise is a beautiful home with AC in the master suite and the Loft area of the home. The AC in the master suite was working during your stay. Unfortunately, the Loft area AC unit was not operating properly. The home owner is in the home now and has contracted to have the unit completely replaced. We do apologize that that unit was not working to full capacity when you were in town. We tend to not need AC in any homes in Estes Park, and those homeowners that have it find it's not used very often. You mentioned the propane ran out while you were here. I hope you called the office and reported that - we always run new tanks out when guests contact us. I do apologize for the inconvenience! We listen to our guests' comments and strive to provide an excellent vacation experience for everyone. We are handling the air conditioning issue in the Loft area of this home.
