We could see the Rocky Mountains from our balcony and windows. And we were only minutes from downtown Estes Park, shopping, and great restaurants. Yet the immediate area is peaceful and you could hear the water running in the nearby river. We only had to contact the agent once and they were very responsive. They also checked in with us to make sure everything was going okay. My family and I fell in love with Estes Park and with this house. We highly recommend it to others thinking about coming to the area and hope we can come back again soon. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Having plenty of bedrooms with extra beds in many of the rooms worked great as did the multiple bathrooms. Easy to get to and just a quick drive to town. We enjoyed the views as well as watching the elk walk around the area. Since it was cooler during our stay we spent most time at the cabin cooking, playing games, watching football, and just hanging out. It was perfect for our group. Also very nice to have 2 garages. Vitakay Stayed Jul, 2023 Great Spot for Family Vacation If you are interested in visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoying everything available in Estes Park, Cascades is a perfect place to stay. It is located in a very quiet, small development between a swift river and forested mountain. We vacationed with our extended family of grandparents, two sets of parents, and five children. The house has four floors: one main floor with a great room, laundry room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The other floors were mostly bedrooms. This was perfect for us--each family unit had a private floor for sleeping and all could gather in the great room and kitchen for meals and to catch up on the activities of the day. The house is five minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and five minutes from downtown Estes Park. We explored the park, enjoyed horseback riding, spent a half day on ATVs, and the kids enjoyed a challenging ropes course. I highly recommend this house. Linda R. Stayed Jun, 2023 Perfect for our wedding party! This property is in a word...MAGNIFICENT! Our daughter and her fianc were getting married at the Stanley Hotel and everyone in their families and their wedding party (which consisted of newly commissioned Army and Air Force Officers) were able to stay together and share the cost. The views and amenities are unmatched! The only things that I would suggest for improvements are newer kitchen supplies (pots and pans) and more serving/cooking utensils. There was no can opener, so we bought one and left it there.... the oven didn't work, so we moved what needed baking to the outdoor grill and made things work. Adapt and overcome! When we discovered that the heat in that home wasn't working earlier that day, we began making attempts to contact you immediately, and continued to do so throughout the day and evening in hopes of being able to discuss all available alternative options with you in order to determine what would have best met your needs. You did not answer any of our calls, texts, or messages through the Airbnb portal, and when our after-hours team member finally reached you late that night they had to make a decision they thought would best accommodate you at that time. We moved you again to a much larger home the following morning at your request, and per our conversations following I believe that you were very happy there! We again apologize that the original home was not available, but due to the cold winter temperatures we could not leave you in a home without working heat. We had an area to work but also had the ability to have privacy with our own rooms. The oven had some issues the first night but we figured out that running the grill at the same time was the cause. Not sure if that's because of the time of year or not, but you can't use the grill and the oven at the same time. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Wonderful location and a perfect home for a family gatherings. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of seating space for meals. The beds were comfortable and the views are incredible off the back decks. There are 4 floors of living space, but each level has their own deck and view. The home is rented as having space for ten people, but feels far more spacious. There are a lot of steps to get to most of the bedrooms, so not a good home for those with disabilities.
